I can't say enough about Brian Sagrafena and Alpine Mountain Electric. They installed a whole house generator for us. As others have said, they are very professional, organized, pleasant and we have been very happy with the generator and with their work. In addition to them being a terrific company, Brian, the owner, is also kind. We had our generator fail during the middle of the night during an electrical outage. I called Brian on a Sunday to get the name and number of the service person. He not only gave it to me, but he came over on his day off to see if there might be some small thing that could be done to get us up and running again. He determined that it did actually need a service call. He took the generator out of service and then contacted the repair person on our behalf letting him know what he had found and then called us back to give us the status. We have some health issues in the family that make being without heat or electricity especially difficult and I will forever be grateful for the genuine care and concern we have received from Alpine Mountain Electric. I wish I could give 10 stars for the incredible service I received tonight! Our heat and kitchen lost power randomly and I panicked with it being middle of winter and we have a 6-month-old baby at home. Brian graciously made an emergency house call and fixed our breakers (which had melted!). My baby will sleep warm in her home tonight now that our heat is restored. I'm so grateful to have him local! Brian is awesome!!! Past work he's done for us included installing a wall heater, exhaust fan and new lighting in our bathroom; another job was redoing all of our kitchen lighting; additional work included adding outside lights. All of these jobs included great suggestions from him, were done promptly and left us completely satisfied. Having had great service from him and his workers in the past we recently called on him to do a rush job involving installation of an outdoor chair lift. Alpine Mountain Electric is fabulous. Brian wired our entire house during a major remodel. Beyond lighting and other electrical, he added all kinds of complicated-to-me internet, TV, and stereo lines that streamlined our systems throughout the house. His work is clean, well-labeled, easy to understand, and he got us great deals on components purchased for us. He's trustworthy and he always left our house cleaner than when he arrived. There weren't many reviews of Brian or Alpine Electric, so i was a little worried about hiring him. I shouldn't have been. He was referred to me by another contractor who assured me he was good, and he and his crew were outstanding. 1. Dust control--Brian goes overboard on protecting from any construction dust and debris. He made such a nice plastic vestibule with zippered door that I was almost tempted to leave it. Even though the area he was working in was not in use, he and his crew cleaned things up beautifully at every end of day. 2. Reliable--Brian came when he said he would, completed things in a timely manner and let me know his schedule ahead of time. 3. Not just an electrician--I ended up having Brian build some walls for us and his carpentry skills are impeccable. He has incredible attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics. he recommended some improvements and I went with them. He doesn't leave things unfinished, and customer satisfaction is clearly a high priority. 4. Doesn't try to oversell--I had him look at some of our other electrical. He pointed somethings out, and fixed them, and said everything else looked fine. 5 Great crew--I don't love having a bunch of workers in my house, but Brian and his crew were great. They were very respectful, nice and helpful. I had them do a few extras and the billing was reasonable. 6. On budget--Brian gave me an accurate estimate and informed me of any additional charges before starting work. I will definitely hire him for my next project. read more

We did an extensive remodel and our contractor used Alpine Mountain Electric to do all the wiring, and install all the fixtures. Brian and Daniel did a very neat and professional job. They had some suggestions on our switch locations and what the switches should control, sometimes we took their input and sometimes we didn't. In either case once the decision was made they quickly implemented it and moved on. They also had good input and knowledge about the different lighting options (LED, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent) and how/where the different types would best be used. Brian is into music and AV systems so is a great knowledge base on speakers, speaker wiring, and speaker placement. We had Alpine wire the house and install in-wall speakers for the house and outside deck. He was flexible in that if I wanted to do the speakers he could just do the wiring and let me install the speakers later on my own. They also added some switches for outside plugs in case we needed them for future landscape lighting. At the time we didn't think it was necessary, but now that our yard is being landscaped those little extras are turning out to be very useful. Our landscaper has mentioned that he is impressed at how the electrical was set up. We had one GFCI plug stop working a few months after moving in and Daniel came out the next day to replace it at no charge. If/when we need any future electrical work done we'd definitely go with Alpine again. read more

We have used Brian and his team at Alpine Mountain electric for several projects, including installing new fixtures in our closet (which involved complete rewiring), installing a new circuit breaker and and putting in new outdoor lighting (path and uplights). They did a great job, taking the time to work with us to get the layout right, helping us keep to a budget and making sure that everything is working right and that we are happy with the end result. They are great to work with and very knowledgeable. Brian tells you exactly what to expect in terms of cost up front, how much labor and how parts will cost, and keeps to it.
