The service was great! The Brie was also delicious, but would not recommend the salmon - it as rubbery and overcooked. Tasted like frozen salmon

Nice ambiance, but terribly limited menu. We ordered the burger and the salmon dish after recommendations from the server who was nice enough. The burger was pretty good but the salmon was not at all what I had hoped for. I really want to give this place more stars because the ambiance is nice, but the food for the price is really just not worth it.

Yummy food at the Chateau Lake Louise. Beautiful restaurant too! The staff is impressively professional which made our experience top notch. Shoutout to Patrick who was our bartender; make sure you grab a drink at the bar because he's the real deal. Not only was he friendly, efficient and made great drinks for the customers, he was also very kind and patient with the other staff as well.

We found this place on Yelp looking for vegetarian food. They have amazing view of the Lake Louise from the inside and they have ample seating inside. Their menu has changed recently and they have a good number of options for both vegetarian and non vegetarian food. One thing that surprised me the most was finding Mumbai Indian potato burger on the menu and it was super delicious and full of flavor. The burger comes with French fries on the side. We also tried the Thai noodle salad and it was good too. For drinks, we had mai Thai beer based cocktail and orange juice. The beer cocktail came in a tiki glass. Both the dishes had good portion size.

While enjoying the majestic views of lake Louise hiking the shoreline we worked up an appetite. We went into the Fairmont at lake Louise and tried a random spot to eat. We slid into Alpine Social locates on the ground level. The smell of food was enticing. We were kindly sat right away, because we asked for first available, not outside or at the window to have a view of the lake. We were going to go back out anyways, so we sat by the bar. We ordered some of the favorites, social nachos and a sausage and pork sandwich. It was all very well prepared. What we liked the most was the local beers. If you want to taste what the local breweries do the flight. I really liked the coconut porter was very balanced and I would have that again. Things to remember and take note. 1. It is very busy...very busy. The best way is not to drive and park up in the lot. Most likely you won't find parking. Park at the satellite lot and shuttle up. It's very easy. 2. Bring water. Not many places to get water. And wait for the sun comes out before you take your pictures. The water is amazing.

We enjoyed it. We popped into this bar as they allowed non-hotel guests. Nice bar and you can order food here too. We each had a drink. She had a MaiTai and I had the Alpine Old Fashioned. She enjoyed her MaiTai and my Alpine Old Fashioned was fabulous. That said, drinks here are quite expensive. They were $18 and $19 each.

Food is slow. So we got a piece of bread for each of us. If this was a Cheesecake Factory, we would get free entrees. The honey ribs is good. Truffle scene is strong. Ribs are crispy and warm. I had the rib eye which is ok. Price is in a high side for the fact that it is inside a 5 stars hotel.

First time at Canada and Banff! Interior/ Exterior: We came around January and omg...the snow and ice rink is amazing! There is horse rides outside as well but be careful on stepping on the horse poop though... The restaurant itself is so pretty! I loved the side where you can see the outside view/ near their indoor tree. It was a nice, simple design with good lighting. Service: Hostess was nice and welcomed us immediately. Food didn't take too long to come over but our server though...was so so. Not really nice and took forever to come over. He always helped other guests first before us. Asking for water was super difficult. No small talk from him yet he seemed friendlier to other guests... There was also a change miscommunications? So when we paid for our bill, he asked how many change? We're from California so we were slightly confused by the question: was he asking about how many 1, 5, and 10s or just how much to give back in general? Probably the first option though.... We also didn't understand to later on so we said include 15% tip. He basically smiled and give us the money and never came back again. I also calculated and he gave himself a 18% tip instead....like wtf??? Food: Honey Pork Rib is small but pretty yummy. Glazed crispiness on the outside and softness on the inside. The other food were great as well but it's in a small portion on a big plate for a slightly high price. Yep...it's worth to try in the lunch price but I can't speak for the dinner price. Overall, food was good and worth trying. However, service left a bigger (negative) impact. Thank you for reading though and enjoy your stay!

Alpine Social is a classy place for a drink or a bite to eat at any time of the day or night. The interior has a modern and clean feel to it. It is a great place to meet someone for business, a date, or just hanging out with friends. They have a wide variety of whiskey, beers, and cocktails. The bartenders know what they are doing and are very knowledgable about their items, which is good because they know what mixes well and tastes good and how it is made. I came here on three occasions during my stay at the Fairmont. I always had a great time. I've tried the sweet and spicy fried chicken and the pork and chicken sandwich with waffle fries. The fried chicken was good, but I think it could have been more sweet and spicy. It was more tangy and salty than anything. The sandwich was my favorite. The meat was flavorful and tender. The waffle fries had a nice crispy texture and they gave you a lot! Overall, I enjoyed all aspects of this place. It is a bit pricey for what you get, but the service is top notch.

Walked in. Was seated immediately. Guests of the hotel are usually a priority, but the restaurant was not that busy. We were a party of 6 so we sat at the table top. We started off with appetizers. We ordered the Social Nachos. It was delicious and it came with 3 sauces on the side (queso, guac, and salsa) It consisted of : smoked gouda, cheddar, monetary jack, jalapeños, scallions and tomatoes. The plate is shareable especially since were 6. My table also ordered the Alpine Fried Chicken, I did not try it, but they all said it was good as well! For my main dish, I ordered the Margherita Flatbread. It consisted of tomato sauce, tomato, mozzarella, basil and balsamic. It was pretty good, but I feel like have had better at other places. It costs about 22 CAD. I think overall the food was good. I'm rating it 3 stars because I thought the experience was super average and the service was not that great. (Also a little expensive, but that is given since it is at the Fairmount.) I would not come back.

I will say the views of Lake Louise from the restaurant are quite lovely. We were seated inside and it was cozy and comfortable. Customer service was excellent, our server, Joe was absolutely wonderful. Joe was very friendly and was able to help us out with our questions, deciding on entrees to order and he checked in occasionally during our lunch. The lunch menu has a fair amount of options for starters and entrees. I was curious about the pasta dish, but thought the cost was a bit high. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and caesar salad (which is made at your table) and it was good. I was not a fan of the seasoning of the chicken but the salad was great. My mom had ordered the fish and chips and was impressed with the portions and the texture and flavor. She enjoyed her entree along with a french onion soup. We also split a key lime tart, which was a good balance of sweet and tart. Overall, a great meal and dining experience. I'd recommend visiting Lakeview Lounge if you're interested in enjoying a delicious, memorable meal with scenic views.

We ordered to share: Bison carpaccio: 8/10, the large pieces of black salt(?) was overwhelming the bison, but otherwise very unique and worth trying Burrata salad: 100/10, super refreshing and unique palate of thinly ribboned squash covered with tarragon vinaigrette and burrata. Smoked trout doughnut: 8/10, interesting combination of sweet (donut, lemon glaze) and savory (smoked trout, herbed Crème Fraîche, everything bagel seasoning, pickled shallot) Individually: Strip sirloin: I didn't have this one but 10/10 for work of art presentation. Huge piece of steak though. Roasted chicken: 9/10 myself and one other got the chicken. Tender and well seasoned with sweet and spicy harissa honey glaze and chili crisps. It looked like they gave half a whole chicken to her and the other half to me, huge portions. Probably could've been 3 meals. Peyto's ribs: 9/10 had to get it for the touch of maple paprika. Seared ling cod: 9/10 it's the only portion that remotely made sense for a single person and didn't end with leftovers. The dimly lit atmosphere at Brazen is perfect to unwind in after a long day of hiking and exploring. The portions are generous and flavor profile recommendations between appetizers, mains, and drinks well explored. Highly recommend making an advance reservation to try!
