My husband and I were picked up at our hotel by Michele. This gesture made for a more relaxing day and we immediately put ourselves in Michele's competent hands for the day. We were not disappointed for one minute! I have been on wine tours in Napa, Sonoma and Bordeaux and this one was the most fun. We had great personal attention at 2 of the three wineries to the point where we felt like VIPs. It's not just that Michele loves her job, it's that you can feel her passion for the local wine industry to the point where you feel that passsion too.

St. Helens and what another AMAZING flight!!!! From check-in, to the boxed waters, to the safety videos and talks I definitely felt safe, secure and on a great adventure with them! Our room was spacious and nice, with clean linens, the only downfall being a noticeable amount of leftover hair in the bathroom, which was off-putting and made me rethink the overall cleanliness. I'd give this more of a 3.5 star rating for this visit, but the value and other staff helped round up for this review. We'd like to come back for the location and reasonable cost, just think they have some staffing/process issues to work out.

Instead of a polite "Unfortunately, we're unable to because we're fully booked," the response was simply "No, we're full." I asked if I could at least remain in the room until housekeeping arrived. The reply was, quite bluntly, "No, you just need to be out of the room before they come." I travel frequently and have stayed in countless hotels, and I've never experienced housekeeping arriving exactly at the check-out time, on the dot. Hotels also have a limited number of housekeeping staff, so it's highly unlikely that every room is cleaned simultaneously. It would have cost nothing to let housekeeping start with another room and give us an extra 15 minutes or so. I had to leave my meeting early and informed the cleaning lady that I was about to close my bags and would be out shortly. Just nine minutes later, 1 minute before my husband got there t mo help with the bags, the phone in the room started ringing, urging us to leave. I understand that the hotel was busy, but check-in wasn't until 4:00 p.m, and this entire negative experience could have been avoided with just a little bit of flexibility and kindness, if the staff had made even a small effort. Unfortunately, the lack of empathy and customer service left a very poor impression and left us very disappointed and stressed out. We won't be returning. Avoid if you can.

First, check in was...fine. No one was at the desk and we waited a bit. When someone showed up, service was fine, but short. We were given an upgrade...I guess? We had picked our room specifically when booking and were upgraded to a loft "suite." I'm not sure I'd call what we got a suite? It was a normal sized hotel room, with the bed on a raised loft. Fine, we were only there two nights and decided we initially didn't want to make a big deal of it. Now...did we sleep at all those two nights? Nope. The side of the hotel we were "upgraded" to had commercial trucks coming and going all night. When I spoke to the front desk about it the next day, they were honestly sort of dismissive. We got zero offer to move and zero offer of points, partial refund etc. As someone with Marriott status, that's entirely disappointing. We ended up getting zero sleep the two nights we were there. Also, the front desk acknowledged they knew that side was noisy-I have a quiet room in my Marriott room preferences, so if they had read that, we never should have been placed in this room. The restaurant was nice(hence two stars) -my husband tried it and said it was "fine." Offering a free martini during happy hour as part of the "resort fee" is honestly sort of ridiculous...a Michelin key should just offer that, regardless. Very disappointed. Would not stay again and would never recommend.

This is the second time I've…read morestayed at the woodlark hotel and it's actually a preferred hotel for my team's business trips usually. My experience this time around was a bit disappointing and not as good as i remembered from my first trip. My room felt much smaller, I had a much bigger space last time when I was here 5 months ago. One main problem i had this time was with the shower head... on my first night, it was tilted to face closer to the wall and i had to stand on one corner to take a shower and kept hitting the wall which was cold and really uncomfortable, i asked the staff by the frontt desk to send someone to adjust it the second morning and an engineer dropped by to center it. Besides the shower head being super high and not reachable, the water spread style is also not adjustable since I can't reach it, and the water was spread too wide that it felt like the water pressure was not strong. I had to spend way longer washing off the shampoo and soap. The ac also makes a really creepy sound when it's on, so not great for light sleepers. I do like the $15 perk where you can get snacks every day on your stay, works on a bag of popcorn and a soda or heard it works for drinks at the bar too. Also got the token for breakfast and coffee in the morning which was nice too. Depending on who's at the front desk, the lady on my first night checking in was sooooo much nicer and super friendly where as the guy the next day that my coworkers got was not that friendly, we waited in the side for a while when I was trying to get snacks, my coworker getting her luggage from the storage room and checking in and another coworker waiting to get a pair of slippers. Took at least 10-15 minutes and people kept coming in and calls too at the same time. We patiently waited for our turn. Overall based on this experience I'll be looking for other options next time since showering is a really important factor for a comfortable stay. I was there with other coworkers and heard 2 of them got 2 floor suites and a much more spacious experience so I guess it's all luck! (bed is on the 2nd floor so not that convenient but they definitely had better experience)

I've used this travel agency twice and there were issues both times. This last trip there were…read morequite a few communication issues, about the rental car in particular. My partner's birthdate year wasn't corrected which irritated him and though they reasons quickly and book the best that they can this trip experience left a really bad taste in my mouth to which I'll likely not use them again. This was just my experience. I think a phone call to walk through the final itinerary would have helped. A few things hadn't been made clear to me in the end. Sometimes things just aren't a good fit, and in this case I think this agency isn't a good fit for me personally.

She is an easy person to communicate with, she cares about each client and she is so knowledgeable about travel routes and getting the best prices, too! Sometimes she can match "online" prices, but even if hers are a little more, it is well worth it to pay the extra fee...because...when (not if) you get stuck, Kim is a just a phone call away to help work with the airlines. You aren't alone to navigate this crazy world of airline travel...she is your advocate and your friend! I also used her to book my personal adoption travel and she was amazing to handle that and all the crazy of that quick trip. She's gotten me and my colleagues out of some spectacular jams and it was so nice to have an actual travel agent to get you "unstuck" in whatever city you're currently in! She's become a friend! In my new job I'll be "taking her with me" to help others on adoption and personal travel plans. She's amazing!!
