Great fun! Our toddler loves airplanes. So when we learned he could go on a quick trip down the gorge we v-lined in. Total time in air was 20 minutes after watching a quick safety video. I'm a former commercial pilot, helicopters, so I've seen many small operators. Envi was professional and friendly. The aircraft was in great shape, the pilot was excellent and made a difficult crosswind landing without any extra bumps. He knew the route and was able to talk about points of interest without talking so much it overrode the beauty of the scenery. The entire experience was top notch from the pilot to the costs. I had booked with a third party and they charged me $100 over the Envi Price. When I asked them about this they told me about how third parties can enhance the costs to make a profit that is outrageous at times.( My assessment, not theirs) But what impressed me is how willing they were to help get me a refund of the extra fee. Easy staff to deal with and an interesting trip. Wish we lived closer, we would go again. read more

My significant other & I took a flight yesterday, April 28 at 3 PM. It was very sunny with some low clouds-- awesome weather to go on the "Wonderful Waterfalls" flight. I initially bought the "experience" on Airbnb in January for his birthday, but with bad weather in the PNW (which is a given) I had to reschedule about four times, almost into May! Their customer service is awesome. They were always patient and helpful with rescheduling, as many times as I needed it. Full disclosure we found a deal on travelzoo for this flight and were a bit skeptical at first, and even after we first saw the plane roll up. However, our pilot whose name I cannot remember (maybe David or something with a D) was so relaxed and friendly that we didn't hesitate to jump in and go for our flight. Although it only lasted 20 minutes it was AMAZING! Such gorgeous scenery and we could see out all the windows, almost a 360 degree view! My cousin got a tad bit queasy for a second but it really only lasted a little bit. The rest of us were fine, a very smooth take off, flight, and landing! We absolutely LOVED IT! Our only regret was not extending it to include the waterfalls when he offered. It would have been at a considerable discount and doubled our flight time. Totally worth it! This flight was one of the most beautiful and spectacular investments my wife and I have ever made. We did the "Quicksand Triangle" tour, and we saw Mount Hood up close and stunning, Multnomah Falls from above, and so many incredible rolling hills and scenic views. I would pass on the experience Pros: Our pilot was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a great ride. The flight scenic waterfalls we saw crown point, multiple waterfalls, bonneville dam, and even some sea lions playing in the river. Cons: The plane is very small and the interior could use some refurbishing. I felt that the flight was over priced ($297). I though the experience would have been a bit more luxurious for the 45 mins. I have been on multiple small private planes as my father and husband have had private pilot licenses. The views were great, but the pilot came late and only flew for 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes( they described on their description that this is a 45 minutes tour) If this is only a 30 minutes tour, you should state as 30 minutes, and only charge for 30 minutes. There was another tour with 20 minutes flight time, I didn't purchase that one because I wanted a longer tour. You actually cut 1/3 of the flight time that I purchased. I didn't get what I paid for. As I see the owner's reply, I went back and check again to see if it states as " approximately ", but it didn't. I can accept 5 minutes variation or so, but 15 minutes variation was one third of my tour, you have charged me full price of the tour, not one third of it. The reason I decided to reply back is because his reply is so "official", he didn't even say that he will try to train his pilot not to be late for work. read more

My husband and I got a screaming deal after I had been following on Instagram for a while. I couldn't pass it up, so we scheduled and drove down from Seattle area. Our flight was at 10 and had to be delayed a couple hours or so due to weather. Totally not their fault, and the pilot dealt with it really nicely. We went shopping and wandered downtown until he got cleared to fly. I was hesitant at first because I am a big baby but once I was in the air I was completely fine. The ride was smooth and the pilot did a great job of pointing things out and showing us different things. I booked the Vista View (which later changed to Wonderful Waterfalls) flight at 1:00 pm with plans to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday. When I found out prior that I couldn't make the 1 o'clock, I request for a time change to 11 am. Corey was so accommodating with the time change and when I mentioned that I was surprising my bf for his birthday, he went above and beyond making sure that it will be a bigger and better surprise. Corey asked me what my bf liked and what his favorite snacks were. He was always very pleasant to talk to and was willing to do whatever it takes to make this memorable. The day of the flight was fantastic - the sun made an appearance for us! We were greeted by Corey and Ryan, our pilot at the plane. Corey left some goodies inside the plane for my bf which included donuts, Hot Lips soda, and a hiking flask. I was so blown away by the fantastic customer service. During the flight, Ryan made sure we were comfortable in the plane and was very knowledgeable about the area and talked us through his process of being a pilot. He pointed out all of the waterfalls we were flying by and did a circle when we passed Multnomah Falls for a closer look. Sorry this review is late. On Sat Oct 27 around 4p my fiancee and I noticed an ad for Envi Adventures. It sounded really fun and it was my fiancee birthday so we figured why not if they have an opening at last minute let's do it. So I texted the number on the ad. A few minutes later someone responded. I asked if they had any opening for the next day Sunday Oct 28. They said they only had a late afternoon flight available. I told them that that wouldn't work since we were leaving the area around noon. Shortly later they texted back and asked if 9a would work. I turned to my fiancee and said we are going on a flight. The person then told me I could book through the website. I explained I found a groupon and I have a discount code. They told me they would honor it.
