They were actually able to have someone drop by the next day. Kelly arrived on time with a smile. He started the dryer, said he could hear it (I couldn't). I was afraid I was going to have to get ten wet towels for the thing to start squeaking. He said it was probably the rollers and / or pulleys. I told him to fix it, the Fonzi method does not work. He replaced the pulleys and rollers. I gave it a couple of weeks but the dryer does not squeak any longer. The price for the service call was more than reasonable. He checked the dryer for dust / lint / hair and vacuumed it as well. Mr. Appliance of Parker still provides great service at a reasonable cost.

He came to our house within 20 minutes of the first phone call. He was so kind, professional and honest. INSTANT TRUST!!! It's impossible to trust in this world and you literally cannot put a price on trust. Would Mike the repair cost $300. He had saved us $200 from our original quote. First thing the very next morning our refrigerator was fixed. I mean with situations like this in life to have someone whom you can absolutely trust is literally a miracle. Dryer Repair. Updated Review:…read more Technician, Tony is a small business proprietor. He showed up on a Sunday as promised which was the result of a Saturday call for help. Disassembled pertinent dryer parts. Showed us the parts that were no longer functional. Replaced the part. On our acceptance of his recommendations, replaced some related belts and parts that were clearly worn. Cleaned up and re-assembled. Answered all our questions. His labor and parts charge was remarkably reasonable. He left his card and left us quite satisfied with having the dryer back in service. On the basis of that day's engagement, the experience was 5 Star. His attentiveness, professionalism, and general personality were exemplary. Alas, two weeks later the dryer again stopped heating. Called the number on the card, 720-908-4426, and it went directly to a automated "the box for this number has not been set up". Not a good sign. Went to the site: "Temporarily Closed Until July 31". An even worse sign. This led me to write this review and downgrade his "score" from a 5 to a 2. I did, however, use the email he had on his card to query him. While the phone number was unhelpful, the email worked and Tony got back to me very quickly. Real Life had and has imposed itself on him, requiring that he abruptly suspend business until the personal issue can be resolved. Based on his prompt and clarifying email, I raise his rating to 4; it should be a 5, and would be if (a) he had set up his phone messaging properly and/or (b) he'd posted a clarifying message on his web site. Neither oversight has anything to do with the quality of his work which was first rate. I suspect the exigencies of his emergence led to those oversights. While I'll likely have to get another service provider because Tony won't be available for a month, I'd wait for him if I could. I unequivocally endorse him and his work. Once he has resumed business, if I have any appliance issues in the future (which are inevitable) I will make him my first call. Life happens to us all.

Edit: Company refunded me. Tough situation, but got resolved…read more Found Eric and Tony as my first time using Thumbtack and I am very stressed with their work. I decided on them due to reviews and price and was pretty confident. They are nice guys and easy to talk to, but they just cashed the check and never finished the job. They have been working on replacing my compressor for over a month now.... They would always forget their equipment and run out mid-job. A week ago Eric claimed he finished the job and flew out the next day to Florida. Well, I found a leak in the refrigerant line while he told me that everything was checked and no leaks. I found the leak as I was "topping" off the refrigerant that he never finished because he ran out....well he ran out cause there was a leak! So for the last week or so, both owners have been ignoring all of my correspondence to just get them to finish this job. Now I'm going to have to hire somebody else to replace the dryer filter, vacuum the lines, then reinstall a new filter and leak test. This whole project has been a monstrous nightmare. Beware when dealing with these guys....don't pay them until the job is done and everything is working accordingly. They will just take payment and ghost you if anything arises. Please take note of this warning before you hire this company. I hope my poor experience can save somebody else the headache. I even paid extra because they fooled me into thinking they were doing a good job. I feel so shafted.

Complete Debacle I…read morehad no problem waiting for an appointment, I expected that. They set it up between 5-8pm which I thought odd since they close at 6:00pm. I got home early, called and said the same and if they needed to come by sooner I would be available and was told fine. Nobody showed up, nobody called. I call the next day, the lady said I have no idea why, no apology, rather rude actually and got me in 3 days later. He shows up, tests the dishwasher which is old and said you would need these parts and I will have the office check to see if they are still made. He received a call while he was here from, I guess his boss yelling about hurry up there are a lot more service calls. A few days go by and I call and ask about the parts of which I was told they knew nothing about and would call the tech to find out. Never heard back. Call again, never received a return call. Had Randy with Aaron's (highly recommend!) out today, took care of what needed to be done which ended up being nothing, motor, pump was fine so I guess this mess which amounted to almost 2 weeks of a useless waste of time was not for nothing. I now have my dishwasher back in and working. What I do not understand is how can a company be run this badly. If you don't want to work on an old appliance just say so. If you are not going to show up at least apologize, at the very least return phone calls. The only other good news is when I asked how much for the service call there was no charge other than that, I would not recommend them for anything. The owners of this company should really re-think how they do things.
