Edit: Company refunded me. Tough situation, but got resolved. Found Eric and Tony as my first time using Thumbtack and I am very stressed with their work. I decided on them due to reviews and price and was pretty confident. They are nice guys and easy to talk to, but they just cashed the check and never finished the job. They have been working on replacing my compressor for over a month now.... They would always forget their equipment and run out mid-job. A week ago Eric claimed he finished the job and flew out the next day to Florida. Well, I found a leak in the refrigerant line while he told me that everything was checked and no leaks. I found the leak as I was "topping" off the refrigerant that he never finished because he ran out....well he ran out cause there was a leak! So for the last week or so, both owners have been ignoring all of my correspondence to just get them to finish this job. Now I'm going to have to hire somebody else to replace the dryer filter, vacuum the lines, then reinstall a new filter and leak test. This whole project has been a monstrous nightmare. Beware when dealing with these guys....don't pay them until the job is done and everything is working accordingly. They will just take payment and ghost you if anything arises. Please take note of this warning before you hire this company. I hope my poor experience can save somebody else the headache. These people are scam artists. DO NOT USE THEM! They take money upfront and rip you off.

Terrible company, you're better off trying to repair your appliances yourself while blindfolded. Our freezer, and our rental condo freezer both needed repairs. So I found this company on thumbtack. I called, they said they would come the same day. Wonderful I thought, little did I know it would lead to days of frustration. Eric went to the rental, decided what needed to be done to fix the situation then headed here, assessed the problem and said he had to get the parts for both freezers and he'd be back to my place between 5-6. 6:15 rolls around and I get a call from Mike. He lets me know there was a mixup at the parts store, that they got there right before closing but they didn't have the parts for either fridge that day, but would have them first thing the next morning. Umm ok, neither fridge huh, that's believable but whatever ok. He claims someone will be here at 10:15 am the next morning and then to the tenants at noon. So, it's 10:15 and nobody. 10:20 and I get a text from Mike saying someone will call shortly. I text at 10:35 asking where the repair guy is. I get a call at 10:45 from Mike and he said there was a mixup at the parts store and they didn't open when they thought. I asked if they've used this parts store before, shouldn't they know when they opened. He answered something about them not being robots and the person that was supposed to open the parts store was very late. Supposedly the guy was on his way here and would arrive shortly. 11:45 comes around and I decided to call Eric to see where he was. He was heading to the tenants. I told him I felt like I was getting jerked around since he didn't call or show up at 10:15 like he was supposed to and I've been waiting around all morning. He apologized and said nobody told him he was supposed to be here at 10:15 am. Thanks Mike... So he comes in the afternoon, puts in the new part for my freezer. It's not working. I text him the next day and he said give it 24 hours but if it's not working to let him know and he'd come back. I did, that was Friday, it is now Tuesday. The freezer is still not working and they're not answering any calls or texts. I paid for all the repairs already, so I'm out $200 for this repair and still have a broken freezer. read more

I am really angry with this company's service. We asked this company to fix the refrigerator cooling problem in my rent house on 1/27/2019. The company told me that the technician Tony would be at the house between 12-1:30 PM. My tenant said Tony showed up one hour later and stayed there for half hour then left for a fan. He didn't fix the problem until 1/28/2019. My tenant paid him $289 with a check after he fixed the problem. Tony told me that the work he did had 2 year warranty. On 2/5/2019, the refrigerator didn't cool again, I called Tony. Tony agreed to call my tenant to take a look, but he didn't contact my tenant. On 2/7, I called him again, Tony agreed to go to the house at 3-4 PM to fix the problem, but he didn't show up. Since then, I call Tony and the company more than 10 times, no body answered the phone. I also tried to leave a message but the mail box is full. I send Tony emails 3 times and no response from Tony. Now, we can not contact this company, The refrigerator is still not cooling and my tenant lost a lot of foods and drinks, Also, Tony gave us a receipt without warranty on 1/28/2019. I asked him send me the receipt with 2 year warranty. He agree to do so 3 times, but I have been waiting for the receipt with 2 year warranty for two weeks. I have not gotten it until now (2/11/2019). This company is not honest and didn't do what they said. With all these bad experience, I request a refund ($289) from this company to remedy my bad experience. read more

Thieves! We had a dishwasher that required repair. Called the company and they came out same day between 3 and 5. Tech finally showed up at 6:30 --said he got lost. Once there he took apart the dishwasher and said that we needed a new door lock assembly. The tech when out to his car to say that he had called the parts store, they had the part and he would be back the next day. He charged us $75 and then said it would be another $75 when he came back. We waited around most of Saturday. Around 1PM I texted and got no response. Around 3 called and got no response. At 5 my husband called and tech who said he forgot to call, but the parts store actually didn't have the part so he would be back on Monday between 3 and 5. My husband left work early to get home by 3 and of course around 5 we call because again no tech and no communication. He called and once again the part was not in and he would be back either Tuesday or Wednesday. We here nothing Tuesday and Wednesday as expected no one came. Again we call and this time we here that he had to go back to Florida because his dad was ill and the part was still not in so he would now would be back Friday before he left for FL. Ugghhhhh... so we of course don't hear anything all day Friday, but call around 4 and he promises he will be there before 6:30. Well I am writing this review Friday night at 8:55 and of course no tech and no communication. On top of that there was a small dent inside the interior of dishwasher door and it looks like he took some sort of hammer and made the dent ten times worse. I am so angry--these guys are dishonest do not use. I wish yelp gave you the option to give negative stars :( read more
