    Al's Loaded Fries (Large)

Ordered loaded fries with all sauce on the side. The cook admitted she read the order wrong and still decided to give me the wrong order. Will probably think twice before ordering here again. Website also needs a revision. No option for cheese on the side. I assumed cheese falls under "sauce on the side"

Al's Hot Chicken is conveniently located in Hawthorne in a small shopping center not far from SpaceX and other shopping centers. The location has adequate parking, and the inside area is good enough to sit and eat at the location. There weren't many people in line, and it took about 20 minutes for the food. Customer service was great, but the reason I will not return and gave low stars is because the oil was extremely old, which was evident in how the food tasted--and you could probably tell by the look of the chicken. I will not return to this establishment and suggest the oil be changed sooner than the routine you currently have set.

Me and my brother came to dine in, got the loaded chicken mac n cheese fries. Food was so good! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Staff was friendly and phenomenal service! We felt at home eating here. Would recommend for the family and friends.

Wanted to try this new chicken spot in town. Beatriz (the cashier) recommended half a chicken, I subbed it for leg and thigh. Oh my... this was delicious , saying juicy would be an understatement. I got it "x hot" which was spicy but not unbearable . It's halal or kosher for the people who prefer it. It's like Dave's hot chicken, but a better version of it. If you like hot chicken, it's worth checking this spot out

Pistachio 'pudding' ?? More like milk gelatin

Chicken was ok a little bland tbh but juicy and cooked perfectly. I feel like $20 for 3 tenders and fries and a drink was a little expensive (but what isn't these days).. the kicker is having to pay extra for a single dipping sauce i feel like they couldve included at least one for free and then maybe charge for additional Now the bad.. pistachio "pudding" was terrible. I dont like to waste food even when i dont care for it, but this went in the trash. Pudding shouldn't hold its shape out of the container its in, let alone should one be able to pick it up in your fingers in one piece. It tasted like a really firm milk jello with a faint rose water flavor and not even sweet. One the bright side, the store was spotless drinks were good and service from lady working the register was great!

I went here for the first time. I ordered a chicken sandwich ,When I took my first bite I felt something wasn't right, I ate hate half of it because I was hungry. It tasted like Nashville powder with no seasoning in it , my stomach started hurting 15 minutes after I ate it. The meat tasted a little old, or maybe freezer burnt. I know something was wrong with that chicken. I will never go back. I drove to another place to get 2 tacos, and it was nasty. Spent almost $40 for nothing.

I love a good hot sandwich, and this one might be one of the best I've had. The marinara tasted super fresh and just pulled everything together perfectly. Also grabbed a lemonade and it tasted like it was freshly made. So refreshing and the perfect pairing. Parking isn't the easiest (meter only), but that's pretty expected being so close to the beach. Definitely worth it though! If you're a sandwich lover like me, this spot is a must try

I've ordered from Bread Head regularly, which is why this review exists. On Friday around 2:30 PM,…read moreI ordered a sandwich and specifically asked for light mayo. What I received looked like someone emptied half a jar onto the bread. The photos speak for themselves. If this is what "light mayo" looks like, I'd hate to see the regular order. The problems didn't stop there. The lettuce was soggy, the bread wasn't toasted and the tomatoes looked bruised and well past their prime. This wasn't a sandwich made with any sense of care or pride. It was sloppy. What makes it worse is that I brought my sister here instead of one of her usual sandwich spots because I've had enough good experiences to recommend it. Of course, the one time I convince someone else to try it, this is what comes out of the kitchen. We also asked for Zab's hot sauce and somehow ended up with extra mayo and spicy mayo instead, along with additional charges. Between that and paying $4 for a Diet Coke, the entire experience felt like nobody was paying attention. Every restaurant has an off day. I get that. But when you're charging premium prices, customers shouldn't have to wonder whether anyone looked at the sandwich before wrapping it up. There are too many great sandwich shops in the South Bay to spend money on food that leaves the counter looking like this. After years of being a regular, this was enough for me to move on.

Very chill atmosphere. A small restaurant appeared to be clean and organized while I was there. A few folks sitting inside. A door dasher came in and received some good service while placing my order ok the kiosk. The self- service kiosks are very easy to use. No problems at all. My order came out in an about 10 mins. In the meantime, I took photos and recorded footage to post online. Sat down at the bar and a server handed me my coffee like a min or so later. I just ordered a regular house coffee with oat milk. No complaints. Will purchase again. Price point is exceptional especially with the size that's given. No extra charge for adding milk either. Then about several mins later the same young lady handed me my order. So I took two bites while there and man !!! Them damn eggs are everything the reviews have been saying. They were soft and fluffy. Wasn't overcooked either. Bacon was nice and crunchy. Wasn't burnt or overcooked to crisp if you know what I mean lol. Perfect type of cheese to compliment the bread and bacon and eggs it was between. The way that cheese melts in n everything smh. And the bread !!! Genius idea. Reminds me of French toast. The perfect combination. However, I was disappointed by the portion size of the tater tots but I'm not complaining. It's a nice spot. I like the service. The coffee was good and the food was great. Will return again.
