Been coming to this location for years. I didn't realize aI hadn't written a review before. I came here to update. Anyway, if I had written a review it would have been 4 stars all day. The wings are really good, the flavor and not pumped up with hormones. My husband also likes the Philly sandwich. The stars would be taken off for the prices and wait time. I realize everything is at a premium price these days but their prices are over inflated. Six wings each with a shared large fries is close to $50. Anyway, my update taking away additional stars is for inconsistency. The last 2 times my wings have been overly fried so they were dry and tough. They are very small wings, so they don't need to be fried 20 minutes. Also, seems like they opened up the salt shaker on the lemon pepper wings and the fries. We had to dust them off with paper towels. They were almost inedible if it weren't for dipping them in the ranch for moisture and balancing the salt. Today was my first time dining at this restaurant after sitting for awhile trying to figure out what I wanted to eat for dinner. I decided to try American Deli since it's 5 mins away from home and always go to another chicken place. Today was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. I placed my order at 7:18 and was told to wait 25 mins. I waited 30 and entered back into the business to be told to now wait 5-6 minutes. At this time, the business is due to close at 8pm. At this point, they've shut off there online ordering and not accepting any phone orders. Rather than stop accepting orders due to the excessive wait time; the cashier continues to take orders and telling paying customers it will be a 40 min wait, now past closing time. The staff is now overwhelmed and obviously stressed due to the amount of olo, phone and in person ordering. Now after waiting the additional 5-6 minutes, I was told to again I had to wait 5-7 minutes. At this point, the desire to try this place was completely turned off and appetite ruined. In the future, please stop orders at a decent time to allow staff to catch up. The overall experience was HORRIBLE & this is my review before even getting my order. They didn't have mild wings, so I ordered medium. They are also wonderful. I appreciate this location serving canned sodas with combo meals should you not want a fountain drink. They include celery with wing combos, but it is literally only a few small pieces. They should serve more celery when you have 10-piece+ wing orders, though you can purchase a box of celery as a side. They served a lot of fries, which is awesome. I will definitely order from this location again. American Deli has other locations, but each location has a varying menu, so what you find at one AD may not be at the next (like canned sodas or celery boxes). There are not a lot of GOOD wing spots in L.A., but American Deli is fantastic. As far as I am concerned, WingStop can close. American Deli is far superior. read more

The chicken wings here are so good! Very crispy, fresh, and hot. They do not shy away from the seasoning as well. They are very generous with fries as well. The staff was very friendly to us but I do want to highlight that there are no places to eat if you are hoping to eat inside the restaurant.
