Been coming to this location for years because it's in my neighborhood. Never had any issues until 6/20/26. Ordered a 6pc meal combo at 6:50. It was not crowded. I was told 15 mins for wait time I go in 20 minutes to check,my order still not done. So at 7:25 my six piece finally ready,I asked for a Jarrito for my drink I was told I needed to pay an additional 2.99 even tho I purchased the combo. I've gotten can drinks instead of fountain drinks before with no issues. The older Hispanic or she could be middle Eastern woman would not give me the drink. Today was my first time dining at this restaurant after sitting for awhile trying to figure out what I wanted to eat for dinner. I decided to try American Deli since it's 5 mins away from home and always go to another chicken place. Today was by far the worst experience I've ever encountered. I placed my order at 7:18 and was told to wait 25 mins. I waited 30 and entered back into the business to be told to now wait 5-6 minutes. At this time, the business is due to close at 8pm. At this point, they've shut off there online ordering and not accepting any phone orders. Rather than stop accepting orders due to the excessive wait time; the cashier continues to take orders and telling paying customers it will be a 40 min wait, now past closing time. The staff is now overwhelmed and obviously stressed due to the amount of olo, phone and in person ordering. Now after waiting the additional 5-6 minutes, I was told to again I had to wait 5-7 minutes. At this point, the desire to try this place was completely turned off and appetite ruined. In the future, please stop orders at a decent time to allow staff to catch up. The overall experience was HORRIBLE & this is my review before even getting my order. I have been wanting to try American Deli for a long time. I finally took a chance and ordered from this location for delivery. Their lemon pepper wet wings are absolutely delicious. They didn't have mild wings, so I ordered medium. They are also wonderful. I appreciate this location serving canned sodas with combo meals should you not want a fountain drink. They include celery with wing combos, but it is literally only a few small pieces. They should serve more celery when you have 10-piece+ wing orders, though you can purchase a box of celery as a side. They served a lot of fries, which is awesome. I will definitely order from this location again. American Deli has other locations, but each location has a varying menu, so what you find at one AD may not be at the next (like canned sodas or celery boxes). There are not a lot of GOOD wing spots in L.A., but American Deli is fantastic. As far as I am concerned, WingStop can close. American Deli is far superior. read more

The chicken wings here are so good! Very crispy, fresh, and hot. They do not shy away from the seasoning as well. They are very generous with fries as well. The staff was very friendly to us but I do want to highlight that there are no places to eat if you are hoping to eat inside the restaurant. I drove from Sun valley to this location to get wings only to leave irritated and disappointed! I placed my order for a 10 piece wings only - crispy - all flat -hot at 11:17am. Two others came in after me. I came back at 11:35 my order still wasn't ready...The other two ppl who had more than just wings received their orders before me...it was fine. I witnessed some extremely unsanitary practices during my visit. The cook was wearing gloves but repeatedly scratched his face with them on. He then continued to handle food and touch the foil used for serving fries with the same contaminated gloves. No glove change, no hand washing. Meanwhile the cashier was wearing gloves while swiping through her phone, then placed it back in her pocket and immediately began making a sandwich touching the ham and bread with those same gloves. That's completely unacceptable and unhygienic. On top of that the beverage station was filthy and clearly not being maintained.
