I'll never buy anything in that store ever again. Never again. Box of doughnuts hard as bricks. Like a box of rocks.

I really enjoyed my lox bagel and thought it was one of the best I've had!! The flavors were nicely balanced with the onion, capers, cream cheese and lox. I was able to eat it easily and get a little piece of everything in each bite. The bagels seem smaller than average, but who needs giant bagels anyway? I found these to be reasonably sized. Big overstuffed bagels that fall apart while you eat them - lox sliding all over the place - are really annoying. These were satisfying without making you feel gross after. The coffee selection exceeded our expectations. We shared a chemex for 2. They had a few single origin coffees to choose from and we had their pink bourbon Columbian. We enjoyed our coffee and bagels outside in their seating area and this was once of my favorite parts of our trip! We didn't have to wait too long, but as we were finishing, a long line was forming down the block. Consider getting there a little early!

I had a plain bagel with cream cheese as well. It's a little tight inside but there's plenty of seating. We also loved all the quirky decor and art for sale.

The bag boy from upfront met me as I made my order at the meat counter, telling me I needed to leave because trucks weren't allowed in their parking lot. The sign says no truck parking, as a truck driver that means no overnight parking. What it means at Eastside is we don't want businesses from truckers. We will ask them to leave while they are shopping with no exceptions. I felt the need to call back and tell the manager/owner/boss why I was disappointed that I was forced to leave before I spent my money. He proceeded to cut me off when I started to explain telling me that he had been in business 35 years and the loss of truck drivers will not break his bank. I was hoping to build a long-term relationship with a locally own business by voting with my dollars. My dollars will now be saved and spent elsewhere. Sorry, I can't give a review on the quality of food because I was not allowed to purchasing anything.
