First time shopping at Oh! International Food Market,…read more I visited for a very targeted reason - I was preparing to make a craft cocktail that required an ingredient that is not carried by regular grocery stores: Orange Blossom Water. I walked in and started looking for the item. Upon coming across the first employee I encountered - I asked for assistance. The gentleman knew exactly where the item was and led me straight to it! I need to come back and check this place out for general items and at a more leisurely pace. Paid with Apple Pay. Service was great! #OhMarketInternationalFood

The hubs and I came here to have an early lunch, in which we were able to explore different eateries - they were fresh and tasty! We also took a gander, and purchased a couple of tupperware, some dishcloths, and snacks. I really liked the set-up of the grocery, as there was ample amount of room to move around, the items were well-stocked, and the place was super bright & cheery. There were a number of registers, but even with 2 cashiers, the line moved along. Everyone was welcoming and friendly! Make sure you check out their deals, mostly located by the front. Plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot. +friendly staff +small food court +plenty of parking in the shared plaza lot

These are all good names for this Nativity of Our Lord Carpatho-Russian Orthodox church fundraiser. In a conversation with one member I learned that this is one of those orthodox churches that do not have the National denomination (Bulgarian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, etc...) as it caters not just to the first generation of immigrants but more to all generations and all people with the Orthodox fate, with no consideration of the national borders. I learned that they have one mass in English and Our Father prayer is recited in 7 world languages. The menu of the festival reflects the church diversity but caused a dilemma of many comers as far as what to eat because it is a long way from Ethiopia to Russia on the food road. People took longer time to figure out if they would rather have Ethiopian, Greek, Slavic, Romanian, Mexican or American food but once in line you move quickly with the food vendors winking and lifting their trays to entice you to get their food. Pierogi were very good, baked well; hard outside and soft inside so combination of dough, potato and cheese was properly melting in the mouth. While I was eating delicious plums with crème, my tongue quickly detected a harder object within the plum. I wondered why plums were not pitted like the most things in US are and to my pleasant surprise the object in question was a walnut half. Once I knew what I am eating - it all came together very nicely. Letdown was that the deserts did not offered any layered moist cake or crepes - which always make me anticipate any Slavic or Western Europe festival. Another letdown was that I could not have a Greek or Russian beer. There was just one Greek wine type but on a hot day a beer goes better with the lunch. The venue was perfect and enthusiasm of the host was energizing. I was happy to support in some way their church. The visit can be combined with a walk in the old town Manassas.

But trust me, this is one of those places you'll be glad you found. I love Turkey, and the second I tried their food, it genuinely took me right back. We ordered the traditional Turkish breakfast, and it was one of those meals where the food just keeps coming in the best way possible. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, comforting, and so clearly made with care. We also tried the flatbread, a meat wrap, smoothies, their special soup which was so good I would absolutely go back just for that, warm catmir for dessert, and a bunch of appetizers. Honestly, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully made. I also had the chance to meet the owner and chef, who was incredibly kind and clearly puts so much heart into this place. And the restaurant itself completely surprised me because it is way bigger inside than you'd expect. Super clean, modern, beautifully designed, and honestly such a cute brunch spot. Weekend music nights? Love that. Girls brunch? Absolutely. Date night? Definitely. Family dinner? 100 percent. Finding the love of your life? Slightly better odds if someone's mom brings their eligible son. Overall, this really is such a lovely hidden gem and absolutely worth checking out if you're craving authentic Turkish food in the Manassas area.

We came here for Mother's Day, they don't take reservations so we made sure to arrive right when they opened. We walked right in and within 30 min there was a line of about 30 people waiting to be seated. This place is HUGE and they still had a big line, but let me tell you it is worth it!!! Service was impecable, shout out to our server Ilke, she was so nice and attentive. She recommended getting my serpme, which was perfect to share for 2 adults and two kids. It comes with a variety of spreads, sweet and savory. All freshly made. The fig jam, butter and honey, feta spread and tomato one were amazing!! You get a side dish, we got the eggs with tomatoes and pepper and they were delicious! The zucchini fritter was also delicious. The spreads come with unlimited bread made in house. They have a huge selection of delicious looking desserts. We got complimentary baklavas that were amazing, so we didn't get to try any other dessert but we can't wait to come back!!
