We ordered the Lahmacun (round flatbread topped with seasoned minced meat, herbs, and spices, served with fresh tomato slices, greens, pickled onion, and a lemon wedge) and Mix Chicken & Doner Shawarma Pizza to share. It's still a great place to swing by for food. We didn't wait too long for food and they came out piping hot! Both items were great, although I preferred the Lahmacun a bit more due to the overall flavor profile and vegetables. The tea was a bit too bitter for me even with one pack of sugar. Although the space is on the smaller side, it was clean. There were lots of people in and out for both the food, bakery, and deli. However, it was served as a nice background noise without being disruptive. You can easily converse with someone unlike some places where it can get really loud. Food was amazing. Kids had a cheese pizza - most my son has eaten at a meal all week at 3 slices. Hubs and I had two different wraps - chicken shawarma- tender and delicious, and the shami kabab - he said it was like a hamburger. Amazingly tasty food. Authentic middle eastern food - the rice, hummus and meat were delicious. Loved finding so many grocery items that I haven't seen since I was in Dubai over a decade ago. Friendly staff. The only downside that I wasn't aware of, is that when you make a food order, the bakery / pastry items are given separate to the meat / rice salad items (at a different counter) and no one made me aware of that - and this was my first visit. Just walk to the back of the grocery store and you'll see a halal deli, dessert and bread area, and the restaurant. The service was fairly fast at making the food. We ordered: The soup of the day to start 7/10 it was like a more liquidy lentil daal type of soup. It had a lemon like flavor to it which threw me off a bit. Lahmacun Pide - flaky and flavorful 10/10 Adana Kabab Mega Mix 10/10 Desserts- some were delicious and some of them had a weird taste like they were frozen and defrosted. Cozmo One is one of our great find in NOVA. We were looking for another venue for good Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food and store in NoVa and found Cozmo One on Yelp. We love their fresh baked breads, desserts, pizza, teas, fresh produce, and cooked Mediterranean dishes which are too many to mention here but check out their website for selections and prices. I found good selection of natural teas here, cheeses, sweet delights (expensive but worth it), and spices. They also have a good selection of fresh fish and meats. Plenty to list here as well. I also find great promo deals now and then which are great - like feta cheese, tomato paste, grape leaves, etc... Staff are pleasant, courteous, and friendly, and the store is very clean and well organized. Location is a bit tricky to find but Google map is helpful in getting you there. Cozmo One is definitely a great shop to check out and try. Note that breakfast and and lunch around 9:30ish to 1 do get crowded, check out lines long, and seating is quite limited. read more

I also ordered a beef-lamb shawarma and it was the best I've had ever in the USA, but not as good as my baseline in Zeist, Holland, The Netherlands and that was excellent. We decided to order two different platters, one mixed with chicken shawarma and doner, and a doner platter, as well as lahmacun. Everything came out piping hot and was so good! My favorite was the lahmacun. I've had other ones from various places and this one was my favorite. The staff also brought us complimentary Turkish tea and desserts. I love this store...I can tell from the beginning of the opening this store I use to go there and had a breakfast buffet and you can stay there with out noise or anyone passing on all the way to these recent days where you can't find enough space to stay and look around for choosing what you looking for....it's a wonderful friendly ownership and most of the employees are so nice and helpful. I ordered the whole lamb on March 21st to be cooked and delivered to my house. Absolutely loved this place - the reviews are right! I placed my order on the phone to eat in store because i was hungry and did not want to wait when i got there. I ordered the lahmacun (turkish style thin pizza) which was delicious and just how it would in turkey. They have an extensive menu of every turkish staple including kabobs and doners and even have a hot bar with rotating food items. If you go, you must check out their dessert aisle because the baklavas are delicious and made me miss turkey. I havent had the same baklava here until now. The chocolate baklava and basboussa were perfect with a nice hot cup of turkish tea, which was complimentary. The owners are around and very nice and hospitable. One asked me to sit while he confirmed my phone order and i just ate, people watched and enjoyed my relaxing lunch to end with dessert and tea. I've lived in Chantilly for almost 20 years and never knew this place existed. It's been said by others, this is a hidden gem. When you walk in, you enter the market section first. There's a great selection of items that you just can't get at a larger grocery store. You also get hit with the aroma of the food from the restaurant section. I typically see most of the customers in the restaurant section. The food is amazing. I've never been to Turkey but the doner is similar to what I've had in Europe. I love this place.
