Hubs and I had two different wraps - chicken shawarma- tender and delicious, and the shami kabab - he said it was like a hamburger. I've had this place bookmarked for a while and finally had the chance to come here with a friend. It's located at the back in a grocery store within an industrial park, so there is a decent amount of parking. Seating is more limited. During a weekend night, there was a a decent number of people although there wasn't a long wait to be served. We ordered the Baba Ghanoush, Adana Kabob Mix Platter, and the Doner Shawarma Platter. Water and tea are complimentary, behind the bakery area. The Baba Ghanoush and Adana Kabob Mix Platter tasted great and I definitely recommend them! The Doner Shawarma Platter was good too and had a lot of meat; however, the meat wasn't as moist as the Adana Kabob Mix Platter. There was so much food that I ended up getting a to go box. Unfortunately, we waited too long to order one of the desserts I was eyeing the entire meal - they ran out. Amazingly tasty food. Authentic middle eastern food - the rice, hummus and meat were delicious. Loved finding so many grocery items that I haven't seen since I was in Dubai over a decade ago. Friendly staff. The only downside that I wasn't aware of, is that when you make a food order, the bakery / pastry items are given separate to the meat / rice salad items (at a different counter) and no one made me aware of that - and this was my first visit. So happy we discovered this Turkish cafe at the back of a Turkish market. We arrived around 7:30pm Friday and the place was packed to the gills with locals - always a good sign for good food! We got the chicken shawarma and lahmacun with ground lamb. Everything was made fresh and we stood in aah as the kabobs and lamb chops came out of the kitchen. We ordered: The soup of the day to start 7/10 it was like a more liquidy lentil daal type of soup. It had a lemon like flavor to it which threw me off a bit. Lahmacun Pide - flaky and flavorful 10/10 Adana Kabab Mega Mix 10/10 Desserts- some were delicious and some of them had a weird taste like they were frozen and defrosted. I was surprised by the variety of goodies they had that reminded me of my brief time in Turkey. The prices for the most part are very reasonable. They also have a tiny food court with some food available to order and some bread, but I went near closing so the offerings were very limited. Will have to go back to try those dishes. read more

I also ordered a beef-lamb shawarma and it was the best I've had ever in the USA, but not as good as my baseline in Zeist, Holland, The Netherlands and that was excellent. I love this store...I can tell from the beginning of the opening this store I use to go there and had a breakfast buffet and you can stay there with out noise or anyone passing on all the way to these recent days where you can't find enough space to stay and look around for choosing what you looking for....it's a wonderful friendly ownership and most of the employees are so nice and helpful. You know it's a good Turkish place when you see Turks eating there. I had a meat shwarma wrap and it was seriously filling and the meat was top notch. You can taste a bit of the gaminess from the fat they got dropping from the top of the spit but amazing quality and taste. I would definetly return even if it's a tad bit out the way. This is a small grocery store that is packed with stuff along with an area with tables where you can order fresh food and pastries/breads. We decided to order two different platters, one mixed with chicken shawarma and doner, and a doner platter, as well as lahmacun. Everything came out piping hot and was so good! My favorite was the lahmacun. I've had other ones from various places and this one was my favorite. The staff also brought us complimentary Turkish tea and desserts. I ordered the lahmacun (turkish style thin pizza) which was delicious and just how it would in turkey. They have an extensive menu of every turkish staple including kabobs and doners and even have a hot bar with rotating food items. If you go, you must check out their dessert aisle because the baklavas are delicious and made me miss turkey. I havent had the same baklava here until now. The chocolate baklava and basboussa were perfect with a nice hot cup of turkish tea, which was complimentary. The owners are around and very nice and hospitable. One asked me to sit while he confirmed my phone order and i just ate, people watched and enjoyed my relaxing lunch to end with dessert and tea. The meat is moist, they have the thin sraaq bread and they fill it with the perfect combination of toppings. I've only had the doner platter and sandwich so far, but beyond expectations. They have a homemade tomato soup with cuts of fresh bread. There is a grocery store with all kinds of Arabic and Turkish food.
