My friend called the offices on Tuesday to ask for her deposit back and she had no record of the leak and put the money on hold since there was an apparent "incident" the night before. This place is a rip off. They will find any little thing to keep your money but will not step up and take the blame when they are at fault for things. Being a long time El Monte person this is very disappointing.

Back to the Center. For some reason I can't explain, I used to refer to this center as the senior center. I often see people playing table tennis, and hold yoga/dance & exercise classes here. We had about 150 people at our baby shower and it was very comfortable. The staff set the table and chairs for us, while providing extra tables for desserts, food, gifts etc. Having strong AC was extremely important for us and they fulfilled that need! There was a restroom with 5 stalls per gender that was super convenient inside the room. The center also provided several large trash cans and emptied out the trash throughout the event. There are doors that open to the outside park area, where we stationed our catering vendor. This place is great and they get quite busy so I'd highly recommend booking early if you're interested!

This call was made today 6/9 at 5:30 so I don't know who is answering the phone. It was a young gentleman, but to make an assumption That I could not afford something is not for him to decide. His responsibility was to give the information that I was inquiring about at least, allow me to explain what I was looking for and what organization it was for. Not only do I run a nonprofit, I'm a property owner in Hacienda Heights, community member and I think that was so insulting. I thanked him for his service and told him I could no longer further the conversation. I said my goodbye so I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. They're not interested in helping a community if they can insult and turn someone away without even knowing who they are and what their needs are. With everything going on in the world and in our own state, we need to be respectful to our community members. The reason I reached out was before I gave my money to another business outside my community. I thought I should inquire within my community because it would be most beneficial to give back to the community I am from. Whoever this young man is, I highly recommend that he does not answer the phone or do any type of customer service. He is rude and offensive.

They told me everything would fit my needs perfectly -- but the person they sent was nothing like what was described. The aide showed up acting like I worked for her. She said my building ​ "wouldn't work" because of her sinus problems, I received what I felt like was a hostile exchange when she just first arrives first it was my building wasn't good enough and then she went in to say that she had tons of experience in the supervisor and immediately started dictating how things would be random Sunday ​, and even insisted I had to change grocery stores -- even though Grace had already approved the store I use and confirmed it with the owners. She claimed she was a supervisor and acted like I had to follow her rules, not the other way around. There was no "How can we support you?" It was "This is how it's going to be." And when I said no, the attitude turned hostile, as if I was doing something wrong for expecting basic respect in my own home. A home health aide is supposed to help me, support me, and follow my home rules when there's no safety issue. Instead, Grace Home Care left me stressed, anxious, and without services for nearly a month. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
