We love coming back here to try new drinks and love seeing how much they've grown since they first opened. Even now to have the bakery next door. We recently came by after needing an afternoon pick me up and Altea had just the treat. Along with our beverages we got the ube banana pudding and it was delicious, I'm still thinking about it weeks later! A must try if they have it in stock! P.S. absolutely love the lactaid vending for those who need it!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What really draws me to this place is the menu & the vibes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I wish it was closer to me though. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have 2 sides to the store - the bakery side and the cafe side.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I made the mistake of going into the bakery side on accident and tried ordering a drink lol. If you follow them on IG, they release their "test kitchen" menu every month where they showcase specialty drinks. For May, they have a thai tea matcha latte and I HAD to try it. Thai tea & matcha are my absolute favs. It was worth the drive for me. I also got their ube banana pudding which was really good. It was more pudding than bananas/wafers but still really good! Can't wait to see what other specialty drinks I'll get to try!

I've been coming here since they opened! It's the best place to get Vietnamese Egg Coffee (hot and iced) in this area. Their matcha lattes are okay. The staff have always been friendly and nice. The plaza has lots of parking and other shops/stores to walk around.

Finally found a place that has good egg coffee! I just wished that they were a little closer to home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Walked in and this was a spot you can enjoy your coffee/matcha/tea with your friends and just hang out. It had a nice space that was kinda spread out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The employees were nice and friendly! Side note: if you are lactose intolerant....theres a little machine with lactaid! So you can still enjoy your drink!! There were a few drinks that sounded good, but I couldn't walk out with multiple all to myself. Self control and need to pace myself. I definitely ordered the egg coffee and was asked how strong I liked my coffee. Amazing that they have this option....because there are days that I feel like I need really strong coffee! I went with medium because it was already mid afternoon. I can't have my energy continue late and possibly not be able to sleep. Even though most of the time I can still fall asleep, but you never know. New coffee spot, gotta meet in the middle! Needless to say, I loved it! It was the perfect definition of strong! I'll definitely have to come back again...whenever I'm around the area to try the other drinks on the menu!

I've been to Altea a few times to try a number of different drinks. The one shown in the picture was from my latest visit and is the salted coffee - traditional Vietnamese coffee with a salted cream top. I generally prefer my coffee strong and opted for the strongest option. It is perfect for days where I need that extra jolt to stay awake. I've also tried the hojicha latte and their Ube matcha latte, both of which are also very good. I would recommend if either of those two flavors are up your alley. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cafe itself also has ample seating and is a nice environment to sit with your laptop to get a few things done on a rainy day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Been coming here since they opened so this review is a bit overdue, but this place is solid! The drinks always hit the spot and I really enjoy that they rotate and experiment with their menu so there's usually something fun and new to try. I'm not a regular coffee drinker, but when I know that I'll be needing a caffeine boost then their egg coffee is my go-to because they make sure it's nice and strong. The folks who work here have always been super nice and helpful if/when we have any questions about their menu. The space is also the perfect chill hang out spot or working area. Already looking forward to our next visit! Congratulations on one year!

I've never had a pandan matcha until I tried it here ...and I'M HOOKED! The pandan adds a sweet and earthy hint to an iced matcha latte that I didn't know I needed. The service is always quick and there's lots of tables to get work done or catch up with a friend.

This was such great place for drinks. We got the egg coffee and ube latte. Both are good and decent prices. I definitely would get these drinks again in the future. The drinks were made pretty fast. There were enough table and chairs to sit inside.

We stopped in because my girlfriend wanted to get one of their tiramisu cups. The flavor was good, not sure how much it was. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was plenty of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I didn't interact with the staff so I can't tell if they were rude like what other reviewers said.

I LOVE coffee. Even more than that, I love STRONG coffee. This was my second time here. The first time I was here I wanted to try something different and got the hojicha which was too strong of a green tea for me. This time I got coffee. I still wanted to try something a little different, so I got the egg coffee. It was so tasty! It has the strength of Vietnamese iced coffee combined with the creamy foam. I had a sip of golden girl which was a mango coconut matcha latte. You could taste all the flavors. That might have been slightly better than mine. Overall, I love the variety on the menu and the strong coffee. The inside is well kept and clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I can't wait to see the specials coming up for the next month!

First time here and wow!!! I must say their service was quick. I got the ube matcha latte and it was amazing. The tiramisu latte was also amazing! I would definitely reccomend trying them both iced especially if you are not a hot drink type of person as I am. Definitely worth the 45 min drive.

This is a spacious and modern cafe serving Vietnamese coffee and other drinks. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful with explaining the drinks and how they are made. Since I'm lactose-intolerant, I can't drink milk, so I was glad to find out the Vietnamese egg coffee is made with whole milk (and can't be substituted). Instead I ordered the Panda Latte (which has in-house Pandan milk which is made with half n half) and I was able to substitute oat milk. It was gorgeous (that unreal glowing green and black) and the coffee was rich and deeply flavored. This was delicious and refreshing (although a little sweet). I purchased an ube pudding to go. So pretty, I'm sure it's delicious! I will definitely come back to try some of the other drinks and offerings!

We had great coffee here, especially the egg coffee. I never had anything like it before and it was delicious. Not to mention, the atmosphere is great if you want to buckle down and get some work done. So, we came back for a second time. This time we got another egg coffee and I got an ube latte. The egg coffee was fantastic just as last time and I loved the taste of the ube latte. However, my stomach started hurting badly after the ube latte. The person I came with finished my ube latte after finishing their egg coffee, and their stomach was also hurting after drinking the ube latte. We're not sure what was off, probably the ube, but it definitely did not sit right with either of us. So, I might not be coming back as often as I thought I would since this deterred me quite a bit.

This place was such an experience from start to finish. One of our favorite surprises was the self-serve ramen bar. It was quick, easy, and so much fun! They had a great variety of ramen options, making it easy for everyone to pick exactly what they wanted. We also couldn't resist trying the affogato, which was the perfect little treat. For dessert, we tried both the Misugaru Bingsoo and the Strawberry Ube Bingsoo. I absolutely loved that you can customize your bingsoo with any of their homemade ice cream flavors, and you can even choose between a cup or a bowl. The bingsoo is made with incredibly creamy shaved milk ice, topped with generous scoops of their homemade ice cream and delicious toppings. It was light, fluffy, creamy, and so refreshing. And the ube croffle...I'm still dreaming about it! It was soft, buttery, and crispy all at the same time. It reminded me of a funnel cake topped with ice cream--but somehow even better. It came with the biggest scoop of ice cream, and one thing we noticed throughout our visit was how generous every scoop was. The Asian-inspired ice cream flavors are unlike anything we've had before. Every flavor we tried was rich, creamy, and left us wanting another bite. Our kids absolutely devoured the Oreo ice cream and kept asking for more. This was the perfect family outing. There truly is something for everyone here, whether you're craving ramen, bubble tea, bingsoo, croffles, affogato, or unique homemade ice cream. Next time, I can't wait to try their bubble tea and bring home a few pints of ice cream to enjoy later. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, especially to our kids, which made the whole experience even more memorable. We felt so comfortable from the moment we walked in. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you so much for having us!! (I didn't get a chance to take more pictures as our family completely devoured everything so quickly!)
