i got the matcha crepe after great reviews on google but i should've vetted it on yelp first! it was oooookay. it was too sweet and hard to eat, and the crepe was not thin enough. i also tried to drizzle some condensed milk on it but it wouldn't come out of the bottle because it was so thick. definitely not worth $11+. read more

After a couple of disappointing lunch items in the food court, we decided to end the meal with a sweet treat and stopped by this place for a sweet crepe. We ordered the Ichigo Choco Pudding Crepe which was $10. It had strawberries and chocolate and we were looking forward to it. But like the other food we had at the food court, this crepe was also disappointing. The flavor was ok but the crepe itself was falling apart. And ended being a messy goop and not in a good way. This was the third place we tried in this food court and I am in no hurry to come back to any of them. Overall a disappointing experience. read more

This place is a mockery to Japanese / HARAJUKU crepes. I have given it three chances, and this third time after having left Japan on Saturday will be the last. I am so tired of it existing and taking up space where a better shop should go and yet it continues to garner business because of its novelty in location. Before this establishment came to Mitsuwa, Marion crepes would visit from Japan once a year and bring the famous Japanese whipped cream to make the best crepes. That no longer happens because of this store. Which would be fine if it could fill the void of authentic Japanese crepes but it cannot. The crepes themselves are well made, the fruit is good, but the economy freezer burnt ice cream and the awful whipped cream that leaves a sickly sweet buttermilky aftertaste in your mouth is nothing like the fluffy signature Japanese whipped cream that brings joy to those who have it. The service is fine. Maybe the tea is good, I don't know. I will never try it because supporting this business is keeping something better from coming here. I have had Japanese crepes in Kyoto, Tokyo, San Francisco, Toronto and New York. Authentic Japanese crepes in the USA can be done well--this place just feels like they aren't trying. I know they know it too because years ago they advertised new whipped cream--but it's still not good enough. read more

I go there for my matcha boba smoothies only. The cashier who takes the orders do not relay what was requested by the customers. The order processor do not read the requests made by the customers. I have low levels diabetes and requested them not add more sugars as the boba is already immersed with that. This last time, my smoothie was SUPER sweet and i was unable to take more than 4sips. I threw away a $10 drink because of their inattentive ways. I wont be ordering from them again whenever i visit Mitsuwa. The present staff that day was flirting with each other. I do know that good attentive staff is difficult to retain. It was a Tuesday at 2.30pm when this happened. read more

I ordered the brown sugar matcha milk tea and enjoyed it very much! I drank it a lot faster than I would have liked, but that was because it was so good! I went during the dinner rush, so it was a busier time of day. The staff was very quick to get through the line and additionally make all the drinks. The presentation of their crepe menu was very appealing, though I didn't order anything besides the drink. You should definitely try it out! read more

Short-staffed with Employees who don't really know how to handle a line and order. The drinks are fine, but expensive in my opinion. We had a brown sugar matcha, a brown sugar milk, and a love me boba. Total each was $5.99. This took way too long. The line was confusing, the Employees weren't very organized, and there was no real way to tell when your drink was ready. read more

I wanted to give a 5, but the service was just too slow. We wanted to order the crepes, but after looking at the line and how long people have been waiting for their orders, we just settled with boba. Taste wise is okay. Nothing special, to be honest. For me, the tea is just too watery, but I am a Boba junkie so I'm not going to hold this against them. After working here for almost 2 years the least I could say is to just skip this place and go somewhere else. If you dislike your drink (which you probably will because the drinks are made out of powder + dairy powder + hot water mixed), the manager will definitely not give you a refund or let you exchange the item you purchased. I've tried to convince the management that the customer service is lacking due to this "rule" but they just won't budge because they say its "a waste of our money to make another item if the customer is not paying". The fruits that are put into the crepes (such as the strawberries) are not washed (we weren't allowed to for some reason even if there was dirt on them) which was ridiculous! Honestly, you won't be WOWED by the crepes and boba here so just skip it unless you REALLY REALLY need it? OH, and to add on top of this, us (the employees) would always get yelled at for not putting enough ice into the drinks because "it saved money" to put more ice than the actual powder concoction. I ordered house milk tea, Less sugar, that was best milk teas that I tried ever! I just waited for a few seconds until I got a milk tea BUT I recommend to do a Less sugar. I didn't order crepes at this time, but they have good crepes as well. A crepe batter is tasty just only itself! They are going to do Smoothies and ice cream Crepes soon and I swear I will be back! It wasn't overly sweet, and the shaved ice was so light, fluffy, and refreshing. I loved every bite! The small size was the perfect portion for two people to share, which is exactly what we did. The toppings -- strawberries, cereal, vanilla ice cream, and condensed milk -- all paired so well together and added the perfect balance of flavors and textures. My family was not impressed but I enjoyed the experience. Very unique compared to what we are used to seeing. I would most likely return, but I am not confident my family would follow.
