Destraught bride had a terrible experience 17 days to my wedding day. I picked up my dress and it was completely destroyed. Layers were cut out of my wedding dress and train without permission. The dress went to a beautiful fullness to a tapered look with layers missing from my train and the bodice Completely devastated 17 days before the wedding I asked for reimbursement since I had to go out and buy a dress they give me any money. They only wanted to reimburse me the alteration fee back. Turns out Kim does not do the alteration. She sourced it out to somebody else. I have all pictures and videos to prove it I also have showing it at the original boutique that sold me my wedding dress showed in the video the layers that were cut out of the dress which I did not approve. And Nicole the owner was not there was not there when I went for my alteration. There was no discussion to take out layers and kim sourced it out to somebody else. I tried to be very reasonable and asked for the refund of the dress that was destroyed so that I can go purchase another one at the end of the day I was out $3700 because I had to buy another dress I was requesting $2000 for my first dress that they and was denied, they also denied ever cutting the dress, even though I have the videos to prove it read more

Got a lot done (3 jackets, 5 pants, 1 button down shirt) so it obviously cost a lot (around $800). But none of it was altered well, every family member of mine said nothing fit right still and one suit jacket was nearly ruined. So I came back to get it realtered. She gave me a 15% discount which was nice but everything was another $750. It cost $1600 to get alterations that they did incorrectly the first time, could've bought all new stuff. read more

She's very VERY VERY overpriced!!! I went in for a pant and jacket alteration and she quoted me $150. This is usually an $80 job but because she's used to ripping older people off, I would assume that's her price measure. Would not recommend when there are other alteration shops for fair amounts that do the same job! read more

I took my wedding gown here to Kim for alterations back in November 2023, the final alteration appointment was January 2024 just about a two weeks before my wedding on 1/27/24. I was very impressed by the expertise and professionalism that Kim delivered when working with her. She altered several other of my dresses and I was so impressed. I definitely will go back to her. The only thing I didn't like about my dress alterations was the bustle. It didn't stay up during my wedding and I kept stepping on it all night. I have not previously had a tailor/seamstress in the area and I feel confident about returning to them for other alterations. Caution!!!! DO NOT USE THIS PLACE! They are completely unorganized and not very kind. Had my first appointment, which felt very rushed through, All measurements were made and tacked. I showed up to my 2nd appointment and my dress isn't even here. Waited for the lady to show up on her leisure. Finally showed up 30min later. In the 6 weeks she had my dress the only thing done was "undoing" the zipper. It was supposed to be the appointment after all Alterations's were made to make sure it fits perfectly and then there would be another appointment for the bustle, hem or additional (which I need none of). To them, it is apparently no big deal to be a "little" late for their business appointments or sometimes misplace a 4k wedding dress. read more

Wonderful experience. The new owners are so amazing and helpful, which allows Kim to do what she does best. We appreciated the entire staff helping us prepare for a major event this week. They were the key that unlocked the gowns fitting perfectly for the event. They also went above and beyond and helped with a small adjustment to a bag needed for the event. Another truly amazing "save!" I was very careful with measurements when I ordered my Eras Tour cardigan- came huge beyond belief and there were no more. Husband sent Kim the pics- no problem! Kim and her staff are amazing! I've had suits, a wedding dress, jeans, and more tailored here and she's done a fabulous job with everything.

I brought my wedding dress to Kim as recommended by the bridal shop from which I bought my dress. It took 4 appointments until the dress actually fit properly. Between two of the appointments it seemed like nothing had be changed with my dress. When I picked it up the final time it was dirty, had small stains across the dress, there were fabric shreds that she did not properly finish, and they handed the dress to me in the bag with half of a hanger because they broke the hanger. The bustle on my dress was just a small loop that hooked onto a button and it fell off all night and didn't properly bustle my dress. I would not go back. After paying $600 for the dress alterations I expect them to not be as sloppy and careless. read more

I took 2 pairs of mens dress slacks to be let out. I paid $30 per pair in advance of the alterations being complete. When it took them home I assumed incorrectly that they were altered correctly. When my husband tried them on later, it turned out they were taken in, not let out. I took the slacks back to Kim, explained the situaton with proof of payment, and asked if she could let them out as far as they could go, as originally requested. She would only do it for a fee. She also said alterations are only good for 30 days but could not produce that policy in writing and acused my husband of gaining weight when in fact he as lost weight. At this point it would have cost us over $90 to alter the pants. I left with the pants and will NEVER go to her again for services. I would rate this company in the negative numbers. read more

If I could give her a ZERO I WOULD. I brought in a blouse that needed a new collar. She said the material for the collar would be very expensive. So I went to the fabric store and bought the small amount of fabric for $3.00! She wanted to charge me $20.00. I got my wedding dress at bacio bacio and they gave me 2 recommendations. 1st one was ridiculously expensive and didnt explain just handed me a card at the end of the appt for $480. Now Kim on the hand. I walked in and I just felt good energy here. There were a ton of people walking in an out and the vibes felt very positive. Kim and her associates paid so much attention to me, to pictures, explained everything to me, and worked with me on the price. My wedding is next week so I will post pics next week on this review. They rebuilt the top of my dress, all open in back and I lost 130lbs so she had to help give my boobs a boost lol. Kim does each bushel different she feels how the dress flows and how it should bunch it was so amazing. It looks amazing and I can't wait to wear my dress!! So glad I took a chance with Kim. This place was recommended to me by several others as doing quality work. I brought a men's suit in for alterations on both the pants and jacket. They promised to have it ready by Saturday 5 pm. I could not make it and stopped by to puck up the suit Tuesday morning. It was not ready, although the jacket was complete. They claimed that the pants needed pressing and I waited around for a half hour! Needless to say they were completing the work just then. They are expensive and not professional. This is the best tailor I have ever used. In February the day before I left for Colorado I tried in my fur coat to find that I had lost weight and it was too big.
