We bought a machine, hauled it all the way to Hayward and it didn't even make it 20 miles and the engine blew up. Called them up and they said bring it back and we'll rebuild the motor. Thought this is great-someone actually standing behind what they sell. They "rebuilt " the engine asking us to pay for the other piston so we would have a whole new motor so we agreed. Haul the sled back up North made it about 200 miles and the engine locked up again. Brought it back to Ken's and they said yep the crank we put in it was junk and now it wrecked the case and everything is worse than before. This time though they said too bad we're not fixing it we'll give you $1000.00 for it for salvage. Long story short bought a snowmobile for 5400.00 got about 220 miles out of it and was offered $1000.00 for it because they put junk parts in it trying to patch it up and it bit them in the ass. Now we're paying for it. The answer we got from Chris the owner was yeah it sucks guess you should have bought a new one. Think twice before buying from them. I sure wish I would've read the Yelp reviews before buying from them.

Phone calls, texts and emails were not returned. I was told it was an "upgrade" issue with their systems. After developing serious buyers remorse because of the tech and mechanical issues shared online about the Switch, I wanted to trade the never-in-the-water switch for a pontoon. Even getting pricing was near impossible. All I was told is that my $58,800 boat was now only worth $32,000 because it was registered, making it "used.". Still, I was unable to get a price. After being ghosted by Ecklund I visited Kens Power Sports in Green Bay. It was a dramatically different experience. A sales rep offered to take his day off and acclimate me to the boat on the water, only attempting to earn future business. That's customer service, not ghosting like from Ecklund. NEVER do business with Ecklund if you want basic service like calls, texts and emails returned. Do business with Joel at Ken's Power Sports and live happily ever after. This is a difference much more than good and bad. And Joel has sold more than 40 Sea Doo Switches with no problems or service complaints. Drive 30 miles north and find great service, caring people and business as it should be.

We ended up finding my husband's boat that he has always wanted which was more than we wanted to spend. While there I found a used SXS that caught my eye. So i called my local credit union and they worked some magic and we walked out proud owners of two toys. Well after the sale.... BUYER BEWARE!!! We contacted them for an owners manual for our boat which we were the second owners as previous owners didn't leave it on boat. It took about six months to receive the manual after truly like six phone calls following up on it and we ended up buying the engine manual as they would not provide on. Upon first voyage with the boat we realized something wasn't working with the Garmin fish finding that they installed for the original owner. We actually talked to the person who guaranteed it was working when they took it in before resale. They had actually installed the wrong transducer and installed it wrong for that fish finder which made it not work properly... so there is no way it ever worked right so they never actually tested it. However we contacted Garmin it was under warranty and they explained why it wasn't working and that they lied to us. The stern light was broken when we got it home and they wouldn't make good on that either. We dropped a lot of money there and truly asked for what was promised in the sale and nothing more. They truly fought us every step of the way. I will never do business with them again and warn anyone... just go somewhere else. Look at their reviews.

I am going through the Case Procedures with PayPal to get my $1,260 returned. At the time I ordered the Shocks, Joel Janssen said it would take 10-14 days to receive them. Mid-March I tried calling them for a status update on the delivery. They do not answer their business phone. I had Joel Janssen's cell. He doesn't answer, nor return calls. When I would talk to Joel, he would say, "I will check on them and call you back." And, he would never call back. April 23rd, he tells me they are in transit from the factory and should be at their shop the week of April 30th. Again, I could not get anyone to returns phone calls afterwards. June 4th I reach them. Joel says he will have them in 10 days. June 19th after trying to contact Joel several times, I decided to go to his shop, (my second visit trying to get my Shocks.). Joel calls me while driving to his shop. I am telling him I am on my way to get the Shocks, or my money. He said he can refund my money, via PayPal only. But, he will get my Shocks he says. I ask him straight out, " Did you ever order my Shocks?" He says, "No" I created the PayPal Case. I get calls from him right away the next morning. The PayPal Account is his son's account. PayPal pulled the money from his son's account, causing an overdraft. Joel is asking me to close the case. That evening, I get a text that my Shocks are officially on order. And, could I please close the PayPal Case. Needless to say, the case will stay open until I have shocks or my $1,260. Joel has no issues lying to customers. This is the most dishonest business I have ever come across! STAY AWAY! Rick Syverson

Ian responded with ridiculously long canned text w/way too many emojis and a pushy request to CALL to speak to him all before I had even made it clear I was a real human. Via text I asked for a breakdown of price, tax, title fees, shop fees, etc. Ian made it clear again that "it works better if we talk on the phone" but sent some of the info I requested. Bike price: $8000, Shop "Reconditioning fee": $199, WI sales tax: $440, WI Title Fees were not listed but the total out the door price was "around $9200." Do the math: $1200 over the listed price ... So shady. I have seen this before at other Powersports dealers (Fuel PS, Action PS, and Cedar Creek Motorsports are all owned by the same company) who list a price that is nowhere near the out the door price to get you in the door or on the phone. "Recertification Fees or Reconditioning Fees" that are overpriced fluid changes. Padding the back end of the sale under the vague phrase "tax, title, and fees" to the tune of 15% might be common practice but it's shifty as hell. I thanked Ian via text and ended it with STOP and instead of taking the obvious hint he called (to the same # he had been texting to) and left a message stating that he had provided the info I requested as though now I owed him a phone call for the trouble and insisted I call him. I work in sales and this sort of breathing down your neck, high pressure sales technique is a great way to make good, smart customers never come back. Yuck. No way am I buying from these guys. Read the Yelp reviews! There are LOTS of them with very similar criticisms. 1/2 of the responses from Fuel PS to these reviews state that the person(s) responsible for poor service etc. have been fired...NFW they have fired 25 people over the last five years. I just don't buy it ... and neither should you. : )
