Where we learned she had dystichia in her right eye and cataracts in her left eye. I am thankful the surgery was successful the first time. I just don't get why the dogs can't have the owners in the room with them while in a visit or surgery. Makes you kind of wonder what goes on behind the closed doors. Price is usually paid upon visit or after depending on the circumstances of your visit with your dog. I appreciate the cordial staff here. Just wish the dogs could be in the room with the owners during visits or surgery because after all you are paying someone for a service. I will definitely be back soon if I have another health issue with my dog that my vet may not be able to do to get my dog happy and healthy.

She gave me prices and we set up a time. She is very efficient and helpful. She and her husband showed up to my house with EVERYTHING! They took each dog one by one and administered all vaccines and blood tests and nail trims etc! They were so good with them!! The dogs didn't want to go back inside, I think they would've gone home with them if I had let them! If I had taken them to an office visit it may have cost me more bc I would take them on separate days/times. Her fees are extremely reasonable! I am soooooo happy we found her! I took my puppy in for routine vaccines. Dr. Clementz came in, spent time with my pup, gave her a check up while sitting on the floor and petting her. She apologized for making us wait but honestly, everyone is short staffed so I don't worry about it too much anymore. They treat your pet like their own and the Dr. brings her dog in on most days and she is the official greeter of the practice. To be truthful, going here makes me feel like I am going to see friends and it's always a pleasure.

I had a dental appointment scheduled and have had my dogs dentals done her once or twice with no issues. However, since I don't get routine care here, she shamed me for not wanting to have my dog seen there regularly. I see a specialist in Columbus and their cost for dental is incredibly high so I came to Village Veterinary Clinic because they had decent reviews and were lower cost. I keep my dog updated on bloodwork and she is seen every 8 weeks by her other vet. This vet is fine but the office staff is awful. She was so mean I didn't feel good about keeping my dogs appointment so I cancelled and definitely won't be back! You'd think people who work with animals would have compassion but it just goes to show that some people just hate their job. Please get new office staff!

While I understand things come up, they would be incredibly frustrated as a customer if I were 30 minutes late to my appointment, so I would expect the same respect when I show up on time, if not five minutes early, to not have to continue to sit and wait for 30 minutes into my appointment. I thought it was a one time thing, but it has continued to happen at each appointment. They weighed my dog twice and got a difference of two pounds, I hope they weigh her again correctly when they do finally schedule her dental cleaning as I am sure 2 pounds makes a difference for a small dog needing correct doses of medicine and anesthesia. After my appointment I went to pay and leave and the employee was very confused and told me I had a credit on my account and then continued to call me on my way home that I actually owed money and would wait on the phone until I could read my credit card. I was driving? this was unsafe and I could have called them back at anytime to give my information. I called in the next morning to schedule my dogs dental cleaning, they stated they were unable to help me and would call me back in five minutes. I waited 30 minutes and have yet to be contacted. I am using the pet wellness plan they offer which I thought was a great program as it helped with the costs of care and dental coverage by spreading the cost each month, however, I still owed for a pre-dental workup and have to put a deposit down to even schedule the cleaning. Once my wellness program is up, and I will be sure to make sure I am provided everything it covers, I will most likely be looking for a new vet unless their care and office organization is turned around as the care is not the same as it was my first few appointments.

They insisted on charging for these returns, despite them not having been planned and happening directly because of the complication that happened under there care. When I asked about why I was being charged, I was greeted by a verbal assault from an older gentleman that failed to identify himself, including direct verbal attacks against me. In the end I paid the bill, but I will no longer be taking my pet to a clinic that very clearly cares about money more than the well-being of the animals they treat.
