We took our 3 month old yorkie (Kane)today for his 3rd set of puppy shots and he was treated by Dr. Damian Giancola and we just love him, he explained everything in detail, the whole team was amazing and so nice we are definitely glad to be a member.

My puppy love coming here ! She get so excited every time I come. The staff is very friendly and have been seeing my puppy from day one. They also have a monthly membership program which is amazing and if you are like me and have had an pet emergency this membership is worth it.

    Very grateful for Westvets

Remarkable Experience New to Ohio, Regular Yelp user, Saw rating and another comment from New to area Yelp review. With Yelps help, family referral, Made appt with friendly person who answered phone (dang I hate this getting older thing & CRS Disease) I had her name, she deserves a shout out, shucks. Anyway, got in with appt. That fit my schedule. Oh, my family member gets a discount, next time for referral. Went, was seen immediately. Vet Tech LISA (Loved Lisa) was waiting. FILE IN HAND,READY TO ESCORT US TO EXAM ROOM AND KNEW, MY BOXER, DAISY'S NAME!! . Never in my 51 years have I had this happen. Lisa stayed with us the entire time. Remarkable. The vet was cute, kind, thorough, running commentary as he examined Daisy, easy to understand, gave us options, put up with Daisy's drive by Lickings and Shameless Flirting. 5 STARS PLEASE, If Your within an hour drive, I'd make that drive. Short backstory, EVERYONE I asked said dont use my vet, LOL! No joke. Everyone in Westerville I asked is scrambling to find new Vet. Same corporate takeover bought a friend's practice in VA, so I know deal with Corp. Vet care be it in store, in vet hospital. Always SOP $$$$$!!, No wiggle, no variation, no options. Highly Satisified.

I brought my cat here after she got hurt in a fall. They truly cared more about the animal than they did the money. Highly recommended!

Think of this as an animal urgent care or ER. I'd been to another location years ago and had a…read moregood experience, and when I took one of our dogs to our vet today for a concern he recommended coming here immediately. They weren't busy around noon on a weekday. We got in, they got the docs my vet had sent and examined her, and things were just as bad as our vet had suspected. We had hoped for an overnight stay and a treatment plan, but it just wasn't going to help much. The staff were very empathetic and patient while we figured out what we were going to do. Sweetie came in to be with her while I picked Kid K up from school. The staff also made sure to take kid concerns into account. They're open 24 hours, and not every visit is going to end like this. We'll keep them in mind for the next time the vet is closed and one of the other dogs does something like eat grapes.

I really appreciated how helpful the staff was when I called ahead. They listened carefully,…read moreoffered suggestions to manage the issue, and gave me options for getting my pet seen. I also liked their availability, extended hours, and convenient location. When I arrived, I was taken straight to an exam room, which was great. Downside: The wait for the actual exam was extremely long. There were long gaps between updates, and I was told the vet would be in "shortly," but it ended up being over 30 minutes. I knew upfront that it would be expensive, and I was willing to pay because the alternative was waiting two more days for my regular vet. Still, the delays were frustrating. Overall, they were much more receptive and helpful than my usual vet, but I would only come here for an emergency or if I can't get into my regular vet in a timely manner.

No one wants to go to an emergency vet. But if you do, you want it to be an effective and…read moreefficient visit to help your pet as quickly as possible. Our black lab (Ollie), took some kitchen scissors out of the sink and chewed the handles while we were sleeping. We found the chewed scissors with no pieces of the handle to be found. We assumed he ingested them and decided to be safe and take him to an emergency vet. First, we took him to a closer, well known emergency vet in Hilliard. After an hour wait, we discovered they were not equipped to help. Seems like any emergency vet should be able to handle an accidental ingestion, but they couldn't and what they could do was at least another 90 minute wait. I should add that I understand that Ollie was not in immediate danger (yet) and his appearance and behavior were good enough to tolerate a long wait - but I just didn't like how unprepared they seemed for what I think should be a relatively routine incident. We left and intended to go to their larger location, but it was such a poor experience I wanted to find an alternative. We found the Dublin VEG and it was relatively close. I called ahead and talked to a pleasant staff member who gave me an idea of the types of things we would likely need and she indicated they could handle this sort of issue. We arrived received immediate attention. They quickly x-rayed the scissors to see if the handle material would show up clearly enough to make it effective and when it confirmed, they quickly got Ollie in and x-rayed. They were able to rule out any large pieces and it felt safe to proceed with induced vomiting. Several minutes later, the bits and pieces of the handles were out of Ollie, giving us a sigh of relief. I wish I could remember names, but the staff were all amazing. The care plan options were immediate - even in a somewhat tricky scenario given the material. The caring and demeanor of all of the staff put us at ease right away and we knew we made the right decision to come here. The open layout was immediately comforting to both us and our dog. I had noticed the comment on the website that said that this would be a different sort of experience, but I didn't really think about it. After experiencing this place, I don't think I could go back to the old way of being separated while your pet is taken into some back room. If I could give them ten stars, I would. I hope we don't need an emergency vet again, but if we do, we won't go anywhere else.

It's never ideal to have to bring a pet for emergency care, but it helps when the people genuinely…read morecare about the pets, their people and each other. My experience at VEG was as good as a late night vet visit could be, and better than the experience at the regular vet, if I'm honest. Ginger was seen as soon as we walked in. The facility was very clean and I loved the open space concept. Everything was very transparent and I didn't feel like anything was being recommended or decided behind my back. The staff would check regularly on all the pets and demonstrated so much care. The staff presented me with various care options with no judgement or pressure to choose a treatment plan throughout the process. They even offered snacks and drinks while I waited. They weren't in any rush to make us leave, and even helped get Ginger back in my car as it was super icy outside. I will absolutely recommend VEG to anyone in need of an emergency vet.

Caring, care explained well and options provided whenever possible, clean, this office costs more…read moreto be open every day & night & deserves it. Have been there with various pets 5 times over many years & seen a few pet owners drowning in grief & fear. Medvets is for emergencies that most vets decline to see after most business hours these days of super high expectations thanks to TV & movies that most animals can be restored to health after deadly injuries or terminal illnesses, but that is often impossible. Used the one in Renner half a dozen times with various pets of my own & several found roadside that no one claimed. Care outstanding for emergencies your vet may not have capacity or equipment to handle 2p or 2 am.

I'll be brief. I recently lost my beloved 6 year old cat at MedVet after his 4 day stay there…read more That loss was very difficult and painful enough, but the over $12,000.00 vet bill for his care and stay made his death much, much worse due to the sad simple fact that MedVet does not offer either any kind of a bereavement discount if your pet dies in their care or any kind of a discount to seniors living on a limited income. Those types of compassionate discounts are something that they very seriously need to think about offering. I think it would seriously help with their ratings (and their ratings could frankly use some help). I honestly do trust that they did everything possible to save my cats life and they all appeared very professional, very caring, compassionate and concerned. However, their billing policies shows very clearly that their final bottom line is that they are very much a "for-profit business" and you should have no illusions about that if you take your pet there for help. The first thing they ask about after getting your name and your pets name and why you are there, is your credit card information. One final thought......please carefully look over their other reviews here (I sincerely wish I had before I took my poor cat there) and then think about what you have read in these reviews a bit and then honestly ask yourself: "Why are so, so many of their reviews only one star?" T.S.
