Even before the project began, Marty provided an incredible amount of time and expertise that helped us get the project going, guiding us through everything from wood selection and preservation of historic value to safety protocols and the production timeline. While it took less than three weeks to replace the two main flights in the house, the end product demonstrated care and master craftsmanship, as ever single tread had to be created by hand by Marty's carpenters to follow the century-old curvature of our stairs (nothing factory produced). We came home to an almost spotless house (I couldn't find dust anywhere) and two staircases that are the most solid structures now within our home.
