Wow! Our first visit to Stone Creek was absolutely amazing!…read more The food and service were outstanding! Began with the deviled eggs app. The truffles added the perfect touch to an old favorite that you never see. My wife had the lobster carbonara. Simply delicious! I tried the French dip. Tons of beef and the au jus was nicely flavored without being overly salty. Huge portion of coleslaw. Staff was plentiful and very attentive. So many other options on the menu we cannot wait to return. Highly recommend!

Great food, gorgeous restaurant, and incredible service! Absolutely loved my visit to Stone Creek…read more Very unassuming until you walk in. On a whim (and seeing they were booked up that evening) called ahead to ask how the wait was, and were told they were pretty full but had a few bar tables open if we can be there in ten minutes or so. We hustled over there and they promptly sat us. But not only did they seat us, the hostess that spoke with us had popped a reserved tag onto a table after we called- very thoughtful and on top of things considering we didn't ask for that! Server was incredibly helpful with recommendations and extremely personable. Other patrons were also so friendly and it made the entire visit so much more pleasant. Cannot wait to come back and try more of the menu. Food was well made, with familiar favorites turned up a few notches, as well as some beautifully thought out dishes that you would never have expected.

We arrived to a busy atmosphere that quieted down throughout the night. We started with cocktails which were strong and delicious. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for, who knew that brussel sprouts go well with blue cheese! I ordered the salmon dish which was incredible. My friend enjoyed the Greek chicken dish. We were disappointed we didn't have enough room for dessert so we'll just have to come back! Other notes: the service was friendly and there was extra parking across the street if necessary. I can't wait to be back to try their specials and seasonal menus

I read up on the menu and discovered they offered lamb chops which is one of my absolute favourites. A taste of home for me! Friendly and efficient staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. So far so good. Very nice young woman looked after us. My wife ordered the rigatoni and I had the chops. She loved her rigatoni so much she's finishing it off 2 days later and still loving it. Sadly my dish was a bit of a disappointment. My two large chops were extremely fatty. It's the kind you simply can't cut through on a slippery plate. Trying to separate what little meat there was from the fat was impossible so I had to give up and bring it home to a cutting board and an extremely sharp knife. I haven't tried to eat it yet but it looks as fatty as the first. Both had been totally covered by a condiment that I think should have been served in a separate container to allow the diner to regulate the amount desired. The base was a pilf which made trying to cut the chops even more difficult because every time the meat or the knife slipped, the table was showered with grains....all a bit slapstick....! As I previously said, my wife loved her meal and the previous visit was epic so I hate to criticise but I'm just trying to be honest and fair. I think $45 for a couple of very fatty chops with not much meat and smothered in a vinaigrette you might not like is a bit cheeky... In different circumstances I would have sent it back. Oh well, you live and learn...

As always, it is a great environment with dining room, patio or sunroom options. Wine or beer only, and wine prices are quite reasonable. We ordered a wonderful bottle of rose, served chilled and crisp and with just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered port wine mushroom bisque, perfectly made and creamy. For an entree I had shrimp scampi, garlicky and lemony and fabulous with a plethora of Large shrimp. We had to order dessert to share since they had coconut custard pie. Out of this world.

The mixed salad was just a generic greens salad you'd find at a buffet. The crab cakes had bits of hard shell bits I've never experienced in a crab cakes. The scallops are for some reason left in a sauce in a ramekin, meaning they kept cooking, meaning these were the most overcooked, rubbery, hard to choke down scallops I've had in my life. We didn't finish our meal. What a rough experience across the board. There's much better food in town for similar price points / fine dining ambiance, this is the one bad experience of our whole trip to the lake
