Buff chic wrap

Food is always fantastic here. I got a buffalo chicken wrap with sweet potato tots. There are so many options on the menu. Only negative is this spot it generally packed during lunch. The inside is a little bit compact so sit outside if you have the choice! Food and service is always great. Ask for the garlic buffalo sauce!

After hearing positive reviews from locals, I had to try it for myself and I was not disappointed!! Mason Dixon Cafe had a welcoming environment and friendly service on a weeknight. The loaded Brussels were perfectly crunchy and I loved the feta and balsamic topping. The food servings were huge for the sandwiches - I really liked the Jive Turkey for a thanksgiving vibe. It was messy though!! Enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich too, even better the second day as leftovers! Looking forward to trying more of their expansive menu :)

Shrimp & Grits

The shrimp & grits are fabulous!!! I popped into Mason-Dixon on Labor Day and it was packed! This restaurant must be beloved locally. Luckily, I did some research beforehand, so I knew to join the online waitlist before I left to head there (&probably should have joined even earlier than that!). The wait ended up being about an hour and you can check your number on the waitlist, which helped everyone manage their expectations. Eventually, I was sat at the bar. I ordered a coffee and the shrimp & grits, and later ordered biscuits & gravy to go. Coffee came out quickly but the food took over a half hour. Service at the bar was not good. She never checked in, never offered to refill my coffee or give me water. I always had to wave her down. The lady next to me never received her orange juice either. The food was amazing though, so I see why people love this place. Since I was sitting at the bar that directly looks into the kitchen, I could see how fast and hard the kitchen staff worked. When there were any issues, they immediately worked to rectify it. The shrinp & grits are delicious and unique. I've never had one where it was more soupy with so much sauce. The flavors were amazing. I will dream of this dish lol. Overall, I would totally come back again if I'm in the area!!

Stopped by on our way to DC and glad we did. Found this little gem that offers indoor and outside eating options. Their food is made fresh and they provide generous portions. I was also surprised by their variety of food and drink options. Food was delish. We shall return.

You can't compare this gem to any other place in Fredericksburg. Everything on the menu is delicious and even the vegan. Cocktails are crafted by season and hats off to team for fast service! Nothing fancy about the ambiance but get there early because there is always a waitlist.

Had a wait time of ~10 mins. Has outdoor and indoor seating. Limited parking spot but lots on the street. Portion sizes are super large. Food- 7.5/10 for me initially as I had the jersey cheesesteak and there was too much salt. Our waiter was super sweet and had a different one made for me. 9/10 Decent brunch spot. Can get super noisy inside if lots of people.

We came back here for breakfast since we were in the area. I ordered the ham and cheese omelette with home fries. My daughter ordered the Veggie sandwich. My the southern breakfast sandwich. The staff is still friendly and very patient on waiting on taking our order. This has become an iconic place in Fredericksburg to eat and usually stays crowded. The coffee here is pretty good. The prices are reasonable for the area. The portion sizes are good. All the food was very tasty. The home has a lot of flavor to them. Still this place does not disappoint.

They're dead serious when they say their pancakes are huge LOL.. Love this place for breakfast whenever I visit FBurg. Their menu is really really big, I'm sure you'll find something that you like

Omelet with Swiss cheese, home fries, waffles (very good! Ask for crunchy) and a fruit salad.

Visiting VA for a few weeks. We stop by for breakfast on a Sunday after the gym. We had to wait 40 mins or so but at the end it was worth it. Very good food. Service was great/ very humble and home cooking feeling. I Will definitely come back. Please not they close at 2pm on Sundays...Again, the ambience comfy... relaxed

Some good some bad usually depends on if they are busy are not! The food is usually good.

We were told there'd be a 45-minute wait, and it was absolutely worth it. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was incredible--fluffy French toast with perfectly seasoned potatoes, and rich, flavorful Eggs Benedict that were beautifully presented. Everything was cooked to perfection. Delicious food, great service, and warm vibes. We'll definitely be back!

We first walked in with our service dog, that had been in the car for 12 hours all the way from South Florida, she doesn't like to eat in the car, and our hotel was t ready just yet, so she was hungry. Upon walking in 2 employees gave me a very unpleasant stair down as I walked in (not sure if they realized how unwelcoming their faces were). When I asked for a table out of the way because I need more room, the very first thing they asked me was that a service dog, I said yes, and they looked at each other with a puzzling look which I didn't understand before one lady walked to look for a table. Now, my dog is a hypoallergenic, non shedding golden doodle... she was sitting on the floor next to me, and smelling all the smells and excited to be out of the car. You can be a service dog and still be normal and smelling food, and walking around your handler with excitement to be out of the car. It took her about 5 minutes to relax and lay on the ground next to me. I would like for the staff to be more aware of their faces towards people with service animals. Now the food. On my 12 hour drive, my have a lot of time on my hands while my husband drove. So tic tok to the rescue for places to eat. Well... tic tok let me down big time. I ordered the shrimp and grits. For $19 I was extremely disappointed. Being a Florida girl, I didn't know you can mess up shrimp and grits. The sauce for the grits was so overpowering, I found little to no grits and it was like a soup, way too watery. I asked for a side of grits to try to make it palatable. Didn't work. The coffee I ordered was decaf, not sure if it had been sitting long but it was so bitter I couldn't drink it. My husband chicken soup had zero noodles and poutine was average (and he is generally very fair with his reviews as he was a general manager). I do not recommend this place unfortunately. We only ate because we were starving (and saving our appetite because the tic tok video said it was so good). As a family that travels A LOT, we encounter lots of eating establishments, this is my opinion, save your money because they are also overpriced for what you get, the flavor and food quality.

Steak tacos were delicious (see pic). Menu said they had steak, cheesy scrambled eggs, tomato salsa, breakfast potatoes and cilantro. I didn't see or taste any potatoes, but the tacos were still delicious! I'd only recommend draining the salsa through a sieve because of the excess juice affecting the integrity of the tortilla. My husband's frittata was awful. The eggs were dry; he compared them to "eggs at the bottom of the warming tray at a cheap breakfast buffet." The chef also served a side salad alongside. My husband asked about subbing potatoes and Ms. Lashone made it happen. She was the star of our brunch: drinks were delicious, the conversational quips were quick and funny. She was attentive without being intrusive and made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of. 5 stars for her and my food; 1 for the frittata. I don't want to average it and tank the rating. We'll be back soon to see Lashone!

We were able to order whatever drink we wanted on the menu. For food, they brought trays out buffet style. We tried a variety of things. The star of the show was the Brussels sprouts. They were cooked to perfection and had a great sweet sauce. I enjoyed the salad too. They also brought out wings, mini burgers, mini fried chicken sandwiches, and tuna. Some were overcooked, but the flavor was nice. The seating was a bit awkward for a group our size in the private room, but we made it work. It was nice how casual it was.

The brunch menu has a nice assortment of delicious items to choose from. They also have a full brunch cocktail list (Bloody Mary, Mimosa, etc). I was interested in a Bloody Mary, but service seemed to be a little amiss while we were there as the bartender wasn't there and the server wasn't able to tell us about the Bloody Mary (do they make their own mix, description, etc), so we just opted for water with brunch. The brunch items we got were all amazing! Their sausage gravy is made with chorizo, which adds a very nice, smokey touch to the typical biscuits and gravy and it came out with a pair of perfectly poached eggs. Their burger was beautiful and perfectly made and the beef was a very tasty, nice blend. The buns was incredible! Their fried chicken sandwich was excellent as well. Great batter, tender and moist chicken, and the toppings were great too. French fries were piping hot and flavorful too. So, the food was great, but the service was amiss. Would we return? Most definitely! I just mark up these services issues to having freshly opened for the day and maybe being a little short staffed. Hopefully the next visit would hit on all cylinders.

They did a phenomenal job creating such a magical atmosphere--I honestly wish they could keep the decorations up all year . While waiting for our table, we grabbed seats at the bar and ordered cocktails. I had the prickly pear margarita, and she ordered a cider sour. Both were fantastic, though I wish the bar had mentioned the holiday cocktail menu earlier. I didn't learn about the festive drinks until we were seated and our server, Lindsay, walked us through the winter specials. The "Sweater Weather" cocktail sounded amazing (white tequila and coconut milk ) and is definitely something I'll be back to try. We stuck with our go-to appetizer, the goat cheese bruschetta, which was delicious as always. For entrées, we went classic brunch: the hangover burger and the shrimp and grits. My girlfriend loved her burger, and Sedona's shrimp and grits remain one of my absolute favorites--perfectly seasoned and cooked. Even though we were full, we couldn't pass up the seasonal dessert, tiramisu. It was the perfect size--just enough to share without pushing us over the edge. Lol. Another successful meal at Sedona! The service is consistently top-notch, and our server Lindsay was hands down the best--knowledgeable, attentive, and with an amazing personality. We loved her so much, we wished she could've joined us for brunch. The manager also stopped by a couple of times to check on us, which we really appreciated. First, let's start off with the wait. I'm used to waiting for a table at Sedona especially on a Saturday, but today the wait was extra long. Once we sat and ordered appetizers it took over 40 minutes to get our apps. To make matters worse our nachos came out with the cheese not even melted and with barely any protein. Seeing as this was not the first time I ordered nachos I was extremely upset. To address the issue I had to leave my outside table and walk inside to the hostess to see if they could locate my server as she never came and checked on us. We didn't see her for over 50 minutes :-/ The only star of today's lunch were the Thai glazed wings. My husband ordered the land and sea and steak was overcooked. My devils pass pasta was okay, but extremely greasy. The manager did stop by to offer something for the nacho issue which we appreciated. Sedona you need to work on hiring more staff to make things run smoothly. You seem to be understaffed in the kitchen and on the floor. We left feeling extremely disappointed and will not be returning for a long time. Also forgot to add that the strawberry tres leches cake is extremely dense and flavorless. Did not enjoy and do not recommend.

We were finally able to get her attention and politely asked about the status of our order. Without an apology or acknowledgment of our experience, she responded that she would tell the chefs to "rush" our order. We never asked for our food to be rushed -- we simply wanted an update because we had already been waiting far longer than expected. When our food was eventually brought out by another staff member, it was cold after nearly two hours of waiting. At that point, my husband asked to speak with the manager because not only was the wait time unacceptable, but the food was also cold. The manager eventually came to our table, apologized for the delay, and offered to discount the meal. My husband thanked him for the apology, but by that point, we decided the experience was not worth salvaging. We told the manager we did not want the cold food or watered-down drinks. Service: The first impression was a little mixed. The hostess wasn't very welcoming when we asked about a booth for our family of five (two adults and three younger kids) and didn't seem open to exploring the option. Thankfully, our server, DeQuandre (Deq?), completely turned that around. He was friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations. We appreciated his visits as he was energetic and very hospitable, highly recommend asking for him when you visit. Food: We started with the buffalo dip. It comes with chips, but Deq was awesome and add some pita, which was a great call. The pita was slightly crisped (almost lightly fried) but still soft inside and paired perfectly with the dip, which had great flavor and good chunks of chicken. For burgers, we ordered the Spicy Wrangler (March 2026 Burger of the Month) and the Whiskey Burger. The Wrangler had a lot going on but the flavors worked well together. The Whiskey Burger was delicious, the sauce was a bit sweeter than I usually prefer, but the bacon was excellent. Only critique would be the burgers were slightly underdone even for medium, but still enjoyable. The onion rings were a standout, though the breading-to-onion ratio leaned a little heavy. The fries were decent but nothing particularly great about them. Atmosphere: Casual and open, but fairly loud. Even though it wasn't very busy for a Sunday lunch, the music and bar noise made it a little difficult at times to hear others at our table. I wouldn't consider this a date night type atmosphere, more casual open dining. Drinks: Solid beer selection with enough variety for most tastes, plus a small cocktail menu and a selection of wines. Overall: Harry's Downtown is a solid spot for a casual lunch or dinner. If you're in the mood for a good burger, or consider yourself a bit of a burger enthusiast, it's definitely worth checking out. This visit was positive enough to plan another visit to explore other delicious sounding menu items. We'll definitely be requesting Deq when we return! Thank you!
