I was promised they would be repaired or the dresser entirely replaced and have not heard from the owner/movers in a year. I even tipped them because I was in a bind and needed to move quickly. But as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for", this definitely wasn't worth the damage to my furniture and no additional follow-up. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. I searched and found Raleigh Moving Company and they had some really good reviews. I called and was very pleased to find that they had availability this weekend. Johnny and his team, Travis and James, showed up on time and were both personable and very efficient with their work. They were careful with all the pieces (there were some older pieces of furniture that needed to be handled with care). In one case a bolt & washer unscrewed from the stand they had been on, but they found them on the truck for us. They were also very fast with both the loading and unloading of the truck which was great since we all had to drive back to the Triangle from Charlotte. Overall it was a pleasure working with Johnny, Travis & James. I would highly recommend them if anyone is looking for a moving company in the Triangle.

Before loading the truck, Allen and Jarrod did a complete walk-through of my home to be sure of how to load the truck properly & what was going to be moved. When the actual move day arrived, my movers never showed up. I was told that my crew never showed up for work that day. They tried to reschedule the service for another day but after many calls and nearly 8 hours later I finally got them to send a crew. The guys that eventually came out were actually pretty good. They completed a move with a pretty difficult set of stairs with ease. At the end of the day, there was no discount/compensation offered for the issues. The disaster that was this move cannot be exaggerated. The movers who came to my house damaged a…read morewall and my wooden stairs. I was promised a repair but the company has ignored my repeated emails and calls to get that arranged. To start off, one of the movers made inappropriate remarks to me, starting with "I broke up with my girlfriend yesterday" as he inquired as to my relationship status within TEN minutes (cannot make this stuff up). The driver then got their moving van STUCK in my driveway for more than 3 hours. They arranged a tow truck to free the van and they allowed my stuff to be towed to an unknown tow yard. Abdo was unable to get the truck that day, so my items say somewhere overnight in a tow yard. They promised me a refund of 200.00 for an inconvenience fee. Instead, they had the NERVE to charge an additional 459.00 for the day they unloaded. My favorite part: They attempted to charge my credit card more than 20 times for their additional charges! They kept trying different amounts to get every possible dime out of my account: 25.00, 50.00, 20.00, 100.00....they were successful at maxing out my card. If I could share a screenshot I would! Per the moving contract, they will erase the credit card info on file per request. So, of course, I did request that once I realized what they were doing. Lo and behold, they have still tried charging my card TODAY. I have now had to freeze the card and request a new one. Do NOT use this company. In the moving contract, they specifically state they can basically use your credit card anytime for fees they believe you might owe. They just sent me another invoice this morning.
