The waiter was very kind and was generous to offer us a complimentary piece of Baklava (we had waited a bit for our food but it wasnt really a big deal--we were enjoying ourselves). Parking is a bit of a challenge because Columbia Rest and Backwaters has Valet that sort of capitalize the parking area-so plan ahead for that. We went at 2pm so it wasnt too difficult but I would guess dinner might be a challenge unless you use their Valet services--but Im only guessing. What makes this place even more special is that it's run by a husband and wife, and you can feel that personal touch the moment you walk in. Today I learned the husband has been baking since 1987 and makes all of the desserts in-house from scratch and wow, it shows. We tried the carrot cake and chocolate cream pie... holy buckets. Easily some of the best desserts I've had in a long time. It's that true old-world taste, real butter, real sugar, no shortcuts. Highly, highly recommend. This place is something special.

Portions were plentiful and in portion to the price. We splurged on dessert and it was a tough choice because everything in the case looked amazing. We landed on the tiramisu and it was amazing!!!
