This was the first time trying this pizza. I've never tasted anything so delicious. The crust was thin and toasted perfectly. It was not greasy like other pizza places. You have got to get dessert. They also have the best tiramisu in the city. Highly recommend this pizza! read more

Heaven by the slice is about the best way i can put it, always fresh just like they say and by the slice, and man do they top that sucker.....order a slice with more then 2 toppings and expect to fold that baby to contain that awesomeness. Never had any issues with this place and have tried nearly the whole menu and man is it good, i've been eating at Amadeo's since they had a store on coors and gunclub and this is the best one to me, but each place always has that small pizza place feel to it with its super old outdated arcade games and simple sit down style. read more

Amadeos is pretty good. I really appreciate having more pizza delivery options than the standard Domino's and Pizza Hut fare. The calzones are heavy with filling. The salads are fresh and condiments are plentiful. The pizza is great, although I find their pepperoni to be too salty for my taste. The tiramisu is fantastic! I will offer this bit of advice: if you're planning on ordering for delivery, be prepared for up to an hour and a half wait. Otherwise, it's much faster to pick up your meal. read more

Not having been familiar with the area I was in at the time, combined with borderline super-hungry, my daughter and I stumbled upon this place. I actually chose it, based on location and other Yelp reviews, and decided to give it a go. Upon arrival, I thought it was in a strange location; located in what seemed like a mostly residential area and then right next door to a daycare. Inside, it seemed like a clean place, with no other diners at the time, and we were greeted my friendly smiles and "hellos" from the staff. I ordered the Italian Sub, and a small side salad. I was surprised when they asked if I liked sunflower seeds with my salad. Um....yes!!!! I can't think of another place that serves sunflower seeds with their salads. The salad was fresh and delightful. Anyways, the sub was made to order with fresh bread and super fresh ingredients. Overall, I was impressed by this place. I came to learn from one of the staff that the business has been around for years, and there were two other locations. Unfortunately, none were even close to my "hood". I did lime that they advertised delivery of everything on their menu. The menu consisted of pizza, subs, salads, some desert items and a few pasta dishes. I definitely saw some other items I would like to taste on my next visit. There will definitely be another visit too, even if I do have to go out of my way. It's worth it. read more

We called no less than 6 pizza places, including Domino's who was 3 miles away, and this was the only place who would deliver to us. The pizza use to be a lot better when they had a brick oven. If the person working the oven was good then it was the best pizza in Albuquerque. Back then the service was terrible probably because it was the only pizza place in the area. I think another family member runs this place now and she is very friendly. Unfortunately no brick oven has changed the quality of the pizza and the price of the sub sandwich is too expensive for what you get. read more

Finally found a non-chain good pizza joint that delivers. I moved to ABQ from Chicago where most restaurants of any cuisine you can think of delivers. Chinese and pizza are always best when delivered! Amadeo's pizza is almost as good as my fav neighborhood pizza spot in Chicago. They've always been fast, fresh, and friendly. Their pizzas and salads are so good that I haven't even tried anything else on the menu yet. So far I've had nothing but 5 star experiences with them. I gave them 4 stars until I can rate more of their menu. Don't be fooled by these so called "Chicago Style" pizza places. I don't think they've ever been to Chicago. If you want a good old fashioned pizza and salad Amadeo's is it. I order from the 98th St location. Now can we get some Chinese delivered over here? read more

This is by far my favorite pizza in Albuquerque. They're huge and absolutely delicious!! I'd give this five stars if it weren't for the staff. It seems like it's family owned and they kind of treat you however they please like you're the annoying little brother or something. Not only that but when I go through the drive-thru for my order they still expect to be tipped with those same attitudes like you're ruining their day with another order to fill. This place has potential and I'll still go occasionally for the food. Just wish the service was a bit more friendly! read more
