Very good local coffee shop. Modern office space vibe. Good service. Highly recommend.

This is another past hang out for me when living in Boulder years ago. It was strange walking in today. Another business seemed to have merged with Amante. It was like walking into a bank lobby. I like the extra open space but it seemed a bit too much. There is always something lacking when an establishment has too much space. I love it when businesses make good use of their space. What I enjoyed the most about my visit today was the low number of patrons frequenting it and the noise level was low. I ordered a cappuccino "for here" and picked a spot to sit next to the main windows. I love the natural light that flows into this place. There is a nice outdoor seating area as well. The Amante Coffee umbrellas give it a nice European flair. Cappuccino was outstanding! I didn't need to put any sweetener in it. It was that good! Again, I love when a place serves their coffee in a ceramic coffee cup. This one came with a saucer, Amante branding as well. They had a nice genre of music playing and the volume wasn't turned up that high. It was set at a nice reasonable level. Staff is friendly here. The man taking my order was helpful. He offered some good choices based on my preferences. I like that he was personable and didn't just offer terse responses to my questions. I also asked about some pastries lying on the counter. They looked familiar. This same man took the time to explain the pastry's origin and the ingredients. Kudos for the great customer service offered to me. Overall, this was a pleasant visit for me. I'm glad that I decided to return here. Again, outstanding cappuccino. I may stop here again before I leave Boulder today.

Let me just say these people are so accommodating. My first meal was soggy so they replaced it, and then I dropped it all over the floor. I felt so bad bc I made a huge mess. & then they made me a burrito bc I assumed it was my day for a quiche. My lavender matcha latte was to die for. I will keep coming back because of their kind actions.

This is a very cute and small coffee shop. I came here with my cousins and this place is great for if you need to study because it's very quite. The workers were really nice and suggest some drinks for us since it was our first time there. The place is clean and like I said, it's small. So it's not very great for large group hang outs. Other then that, service is great.

We just order vanilla lattes. Hot and cold. Both were delicious! Love their expresso no burnt flavor. Fast and polite. The vibe on the inside was nice. No complaints and would definitely come back.

The "Shotinos" alone earn this place five stars. During happy hour they are only $3 a pop. A shot of amaretto topped with a shot of espresso topped with heavy cream in a tiny shot glass you sip through a straw. Amazing!!!! The textures and layers one after the other leave a warmth of wonder in your mouth as it travels down your throat, caffeine pumping through your blood stream wiring you for the afternoon while the amaretto mellows you out and warms your gut. So so worth it. I dream about the Shotinos! The service is good. The prices are reasonable. The ambiance is like any other coffee shop. Street parking. Bring your IDs as these caffeinated alcoholic beverages require carding!

Way cool coffee, tea and liquor spot. Modern Italian feel with outstanding coffee. A few tables outside, too, so bring your dog.

However, there were people sitting on their outside patio. Hardy folks, I guess! My friend was nursing a sore tummy, so she just had some grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. She loves everything she's had here. It was my first time. I ordered the chicken bowl with yakisoba noodles. It was lukewarm, but that's fine for me. I think they must have microwaved it because it was steamier as you ate down the bowl. The veggies were crisp, the noodles perfect, the chicken was tender. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice. It's obviously popular, it filled up as we sat, with quite a variety of people, from babies to seniors. I might go back, but perhaps next time I'll just get water. I hope they don't charge for that!

All good. I loved having a view of the bustle of the restaurant and especially all the parties celebrating birthdays. A few employees would gather at the table while delivering dessert and sing happy birthday. A few patrons like me joined them in the serenade. Such a warm, family vibe. A lovely gentleman sat in the open bar stool next to me. Turns out he's a regular and longtime Boulder resident. He gave me some menu tips. Plus it was fun to learn about him and his business. I had the red wine on tap. Delicious and $9. Two favorite qualities in wine. I got the bolognese with linguini. It was beyond fabulous. Insert chef's kiss! I took a small container home because I knew it would make a perfect lunch the next day, and it was. The rolls are divine. Hard, crunchy exterior with softness on the interior. I had one there and brought a second home to enjoy with lunch the next day. I know how to live. I enjoyed a short chat with Mariano, the owner's son who basically grew up there. I, of course, got me one and devoured in a matter of minutes. Other stuff on the menu looked and sounded great, too (Japanese Cheese Cake was one of them.) While I was eating my doughnut, a female staff came to me and asked if I wanted anything to drink (from the bar for alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage.) I said no but she pointed to the self-service water fountain where there are clean side plates you can grab should you need one for your meal. While I was there, I checked other vendors (they have Italian, Thai to name a few.) Well, let's go back to the dessert shop. The guy behind the counter was extremely helpful. He welcomed me with a nice smile. My doughnut came out warm with freshly glazed semisweet citrusy cream on top. Like I said, so airy to a point where you would feel like going for a second one. So if you are looking for something super light especially after a meal, I recommend you go with this one.
