My rating is a 4.5 out of 5 stars and the only reason being, I wish my extensions stayed in longer but thats not there fault, my hair is just too fine and thin. I typically cut and color my own hair but I was really interested in getting extensions. My coworker comes and gets her hair done and it is cut beautifully and so I talked to her stylist and I told her exactly what I wanted and she seemed like she knew what she was doing so I gave her a chance. Again, the drive is pretty far so I was hesitant to go, but I sucked it up and went and I am glad I did.

I generally hate getting my hair cut and colored for various reasons. Last night was a prime example of why I dread salon appointments. Before anyone attacks me on them providing a service, I get that. And I understand the time spent and the products used. But I went with one of the cheapest options in my area, was quoted a price online, which I already thought was unreasonable for what I was having done, and then I am charged nearly double the quote! Let me explain better... I got on their website, and chose a "Master stylist" (Marin) and chose my service as "full head foil highlights" with this level of stylist. I was quoted $137, which I already thought was pretty expensive just for highlights, but I never get my hair done, so I decided to go for it. The stylist was down to earth, friendly, and professional. We went over what colors would look right on me, and she did the highlights. She tried to talk me into a haircut, at which point I declined. Nothing was done that I would consider outside of the service I requested (I got highlights, she washed the highlights out, blow dried my hair, and I was done). She charged me $237 for highlights! Just highlights. No all over color, no styling, no curling iron or flat iron. I also gave her a $20 tip, so it was almost $260. I never asked for any of the extras that she charged me for. And my hair was not flat ironed, or curled, and she charged me extra for that. THAT is theft!
