Amazing food. So sad we didn't find this gem sooner as we are moving at the end of the month Favorites are the Shrimp Mofungo with Salsa, chicharron, empanadas, and potato balls! Service is fast and friendly. We plan on eating here a few more times before we leave

Wasn't sure of what I wanted for lunch , but hadn't planned on Spanish. Walked by this pace and it was quite busy. You give your order at the counter. There's pork options, beef and chicken. The plate was pretty full of food and favor. The beef was tender, but not fatty. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town

I like this place so much I visit a few times a week. Great prices and service. The best and most authentic Dominican restaurant I've found in the burbs. Favorites: Bistec Encebollado, Perníl, Rabo, Chicharron, Baked Chicken.

Just got done eating takeout from here and all I can say is wow .. So happy that this place exists and sad that it took me too long to stumble upon it. Ordered the baked chicken and rice and beans as well as the fried pork chunks (wow). The chicken was cooked perfectly, moist and tender . Lots of flavor from whatever kind of dry rub they use . Skin is packed with flavor . The pork chunks and such a guilty pleasure. Tender, juicy and and the skin is crispy and balances the dish out . Also a must is to dip the chunks into the hot sauce to cut the fat level .. Awesome lol... Will def be back soon as possible .. If u like to eat home cooked food and don't care about fancy decor than this is a home run !!!

The bar style counter top was good place to sit and eat.

Great Dominican food. Very flavorful but not spicy like Mexican food. A must keep for the neighborhood. Try it.

Oh this was so delightful and delicious. Every detail of each dish was perfection. The staff was super nice, and the GM came by our table to thank us for dining at Amada on this evening. I have to say thank you for having us! Pro tip. The Lancaster Ave location is on the 1st floor of an office building and you will likely not see it from Lancaster Ave. I suggest for your 1st visit, use GPS. There is plenty of free parking in the back of the building. For those who want valet parking and door to door service, that is available too.

They rolled out food sooo slowly, we sat with salad on the table for at least 30 min. The whole dinner took 2h! I was so uncomfortable sitting in that booth for that long. Dishes worth returning to: Patatas Bravas Beef skewers Croquettes Stuffed peppers The rest was meh. Cheesecake was overcooked, salad was under seasoned, salmon had a weird sauce to it, octopus was fishy and slimy. I used to love this place. It's a shame the quality has gone down. In both locations. Time for chef to come check on his restaurants.

This was my first visit. I tried the pulled pork rice plate which includes rice, beans and potato…read moresalad. Pulled pork was perfectly seasoned. I loved how moist and juicy the pork was. The potato salad was smooth with some chunks of potatoes and a light crunch from the veggies. My favorite was the beans that pair perfectly with the rice and meat! All this for only $12!!! Wow! I highly recommend it. I also tried their beef empanadas. They were excellent. They're fried to order and homemade. There's a lot of filling and the beef inside is perfectly seasoned. The last time I had empanadas this good was at my Puerto Rican friend's house where his grandma made them! A close second was in Rincon, Puerto Rico. These are that good. They're a must try. This a lovely local neighborhood corner takeout restaurant. You can call ahead to order your food to avoid the the wait. The owner and staff are all very friendly and happy to answer any questions and provide recommendations. They have a tv in the waiting area and some drinks for sale. Inside is very clean and everything looks new and well organized. The food all homemade and delicious. Portions are very generous and a great value for what the charge. I'm looking forward to trying more of their food. I highly recommend it! It's definitely worth a trip to check it out. Support your local restaurants.
