Corresponded with Moe briefly regarding a ride from Bar Harbor to Bangor Airport. After I didn't respond to her text for maybe 2 hours, she called and rudely stated she was "glad to see" my phone was still working since I hadn't replied. She mentioned she'd been "doing this for 35 years" and expects a reply back. I politely said I'd be passing on the ride. Simply too expensive. We used Moe'z to go from Bar Harbor Airport into town and were charged $50. The driver who is the husband of the husband/wife team was super nice and the car was super nice. Just too much money. We Ubered back for $24. read more

Moe was the MVP of our trip to Maine. We stayed in a remote house near Pretty Marsh and she was the ONLY taxi that was able to pick us up at 3:00am or "DARK THIRTY" as she called it and take us to Bangor airport for a 5:15am flight. The best taxi in the area. The taxi game in Bar Harbor area is unlike anything I've seen before. Uber and Lyft don't seem to exist and taxi service is hard to come by. They are all small companies that can be a challenge to get hold of and are all busy during the season. Plan/book ahead. taxi service dropped a lost suitcase for a friend that was staying at my home, after knocking at the door the driver immediately started chastising me for not responding to calls (that didn't come through at all) and one message (to my friends phone). Instead of knocking at the door as soon as arriving, she made it clear that she had been waiting a long time. The suitcase was supposed to be delivered yesterday so this delivery came as a surprise at 9 am and did not merit such a rude delivery. read more

This taxi service blantantly lied about a pile up on Route 3 when trying to get down from Cadillac Summit Mtn implying she wouldnt be able to access the island. I understand not wanting to drive but giving some excuse when we would have been more understanding if she had been truthful about not being able or wanting to come get or pick us up. The trail was a lot tougher than we were expecting and being considerate and truthful would have been a much better way of handling it. read more

Moe was a lifesaver! With short notice, she picked us up in the middle of the night to get us to our rescheduled flight at the Rockland Airport (two hours away from Bar Harbor!).
