Stopped into Amazing Crepes (forgot to take pictures) for an afternoon snack... Not too shabby. AC is a kitschy lil place, friendly service, and has solid crepes (way overpriced though). We order the spicy Italian and Nutella with banana... They were good but nearly $40 for two crepes (and nothing else) is absurd. Overall, I don't understand all the hype... We stopped in to Amazing Crepes while visiting Whitefish. It was interesting to see the crepes being made in the window. A clever marketing tool. When you arrive you place an order at the counter and they provide a number for the table. You walk down a short hall and grab your own water from a service station. Condiments are also help yourself in another area. We all decided to order savory crepes & coffee. From the counter, I ordered the Darth Bacon: Jalapeno-infused bacon, cheddar cheese, and egg. Two others ordered the Sausage Cheddar & Egg: sausage, onion, green pepper, cheddar cheese, and egg. The fourth ordered the Roasted Root Veggies: Blend of seasoned roasted potatoes, yams, carrots, and onions with cheddar cheese, egg, and fresh spinach. A server will bring out the crepes as they are made. We all commented the crepes were tasty but we each felt $15 for a piece the size of a pizza slice with no accompanying sides was a bit pricy. After you finish, they ask that you put the plates and silverware in the appropriate tubs. The area we all felt stood out was the fact dining tables are next to dirty mop buckets, dirty dishes and cutlery with uneaten food, open garbage cans, brooms, etc. Not appetizing. Ok, Amazing Crepes is pretty darn amazing. Nothing fancy, no frills, just like really good crepe combinations. We love it so much we went' twice in our week-long trip visiting Glacier National Park. The first time we tried Farm to Table, French Toast, and then another sweet crepe (Brie, raspberry preserve, cream cheese). Everything was delicious. First off, extra points when you can see the crepes being made. Secondly, a good ratio of crepe to filling (not too much filling to overtake the thin pancake, but not so little that every bite is flavorful. We had to go back to Whitefish to pick up an ordered we placed a few days ago. And decided to stop in for crepe again. This time, we ordered the farm to table & French toast again (that's how much we loved them), but also added Darth Bacon (lol love the name). Again, every crepe was absolutely delicious for a quick simple meal or snack. read more

Crepes cafe on Central Ave in downtown Whitefish. They prepare the crepes in the window for you to see. I had a lovely London Fog with lavender, fruity yet not too sweet. We ordered a Monte Cristo crepe, a Brie with pesto and spinach crepe and a lemon crepe with zest and lavender whipped cream. We placed our orders at the counter and they brought our food to the table within 10 minutes. These crepes were very large -- we could have quite easily split them. These were served hot, and bursting with fillings. I found the crepes themselves to be a little dry and thin. The Monte Cristo was full of turkey, ham and cheese but a little more raspberry jam on top than I preferred. (Why not huckleberry instead?) The pesto crepe was ok. I was disappointed in the lemon crepe, the zest did not seem bright or fresh and the lavender topping was wan and bland. The crepes were fine, although (sorry to say) not amazing. The staff was helpful and cheerful and now I know they can also prepare gluten-free or vegan crepes in addition to traditional crepes. read more

Little disjointed when you first come into the restaurant, with ordering and what to expect from the waitstaff. Example - the waitress brings the food but no utensils. They sanitize and clean all stations prior to making any new crepes, so though they do not have a designated station, they try their very best to avoid any cross contamination for ANY allergy. The gluten free option is an upcharge of $1.50 and is a buckwheat crepe. The crepes were so delicious we came here two days in a row. We had both the GF and non GF options, and everyone in our party was addicted. They have mostly indoor self seating, but a few tables outdoors and a dog bowl for your furry friends. Delicious! We stopped one morning on our way out of town for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised at all the options here! I took the staff's suggestion and got the Darth Bacon: egg, jalapeño bacon, and cheddar cheese. It was super flavorful and a huge portion. My friend got a sweet option: brie, raspberry and cream cheese. I tried a bite and that was also fantastic. An amazing they are. My wife and I visiting from out of State tried this place for lunch. 1:00 in the PM on a Sunday, still very busy but we were able to get a table in the back. My wife ordered the turkey red pepper and spinach. She was super happy with it and thought it was tastey. I got the guvyre, Dijon and subed ham for turkey. It was also amazing. We both had the tea, I don't remember what kind with ginger if I remember and very refreshing. A little pricey but the portions are generous....so...forgiven. Delicious crepes, very happy to have a gluten free option. This cafe is one of the more unique food spots in Whitefish in my opinion, so I was very grateful they had gluten free options. Lots of interesting flavor combinations, we tried the Monte Cristo (gluten free) which was very interesting yet tasty, ham and cheese inside with raspberry preserves and powdered sugar on the outside. Long line to order at the counter but the servers informed waiting customers that it would be a 35 minute wait for food, which was reasonable for a Sunday at lunch time. They asked me to pay for another latte if i wanted them to make one and so i left! Been here before and loved it, but you shouldn't be running a business like this.
