We were greeted as we come in. The staff was friendly and explained to us what they have, as this is our first time. Service wise, 4 stars. Amazing Glazed is like a coffee shop... there are donuts, coffee, latte, ice cream. There are a few tables to dine in as well. As for the donuts, it's a pass for me. Don't like the texture of the donuts. The lady behind the counter told us it's fresh made, but it's not warm. The toppings are good. The donuts have to be eaten immediately because after a few hours, it's meh.. almost stale like. Overall, 3 stars.

I've gone to this spot 2 times now and have not been disappointed either time. Some of the best and freshest tasting donuts in the area with decent drinks as well. Any donut lover should give this spot a try

The only place you can get GREAT gluten free donuts! You need to order them ahead of time (about an hour) but worth it!! I'd do it more often if I could order them online instead of calling.

This place is nestled in a quiet, not so traveled area of Chesapeake. It is small but has a lot to offer. They have candles (chocolates), ice cream and DONUTS! These donuts are not like Krispy Kreme donuts. They are cake donuts. They make them to order, but they are not piping hot. I would say that was my biggest disappointment. The staff is friendly and polite. The lace is clean. The donuts can be completely customizable which can get a bit overwhelming if you're not a donut connoisseur. They have different flavors of donuts and a 100 million ways to make them with a variety of toppings and glazes. I would recommend them, but I took my donuts home and put them in the oven at 170 to keep them warm. We had a few leftover the next morning and they were not good reheated. I forgot to take pics of the donuts. so you got a picture of the box.

Donuts, ice cream, coffees, candies and coffee syrups oh my! Donuts are freshly made. They have stools available for kids to watch the donuts come out. Perfect way to cool down on this hot day! They have indoor and outdoor sitting. Private parking area. I'd go during a non-busy day. Getting out of the parking lot might be a headache during rush hour. You can always call ahead for pickup for easy in and out service. Bathroom is available and highchairs as well! Staff is awesome and patient.

Amazing service, dozens of flavors, cute little spot to eat your donut at the coffee bar. What's not to love?! Got the lemon, glazed, churro, and the s'mores. By far the churro is the best. But I can't wait to go back and try more. Served warm and with a smile. It doesn't get much better! So thankful for this little gem in my neck of the woods!

The setup is 4 stars with books set up for different things - a party space, a candy space, an ice cream space, a donut space... very cute and reminds you of old timey candy store - they even have cotton candy machine! The friendliness was 3 stars, maybe they were about to closed... the donuts are cake donuts like Duck Donuts but they weren't even warm!! The cake batter was bland. The toppings were not dipped, they used little plastic spoons (like those used for ice cream) to spread the sauce toppings. I just wish it wasn't so underwhelming , I wanted so badly to be impressed

Who doesn't like donuts? Am I right?!! These are fresh, warm, made to order donuts. They're cake donuts (different than the soft melty donuts) I love that it's a local place. (No chain/franchise) If you are unfamiliar with Chesapeake, you might miss the shop. They have little stepstools for the little ones to watch the donuts being made. They have a menu board, but you can customize the donuts to whatever you like. They have flavors of the seasons: Sometimes apple cider, sometimes chocolate. I've never had anything I didn't like. They have coffee and ice cream, which I'm sure is amazing too. (No pun intended)

I was on my way to the gym to work out, and I had a sore throat, so I thought, let me find a place to get a cup of warm tea. I drove down the street to this little spot. I have been here before but just to deliver food, so I never really paid attention to much when I would come. This place is lovely . Although I only ordered breakfast tea, this place is a doughnut lovers paradise. I skimmed the menu while I was waiting for my tea, and I swear they have every flavor of donut you can imagine! The decor is cute they typical decoration and art for a donut spot. It's very personable and the lady that made my tea was so sweet to me. She suggested honey in my tea since I told her I had a sore throat, and I just added a little lemon juice later to it. The staff was friendly, and it felt like a family business. I felt like family when I walked in. All in all, I will be back for some of those delicious looking donuts they have. Oh, by the way, they are homemade too, so that is always a bonus.

The menu is very impressive with specialty lattes and teas, and energy drinks, too. The breakfast and lunch menu offers a variety that's sure to please everyone's taste buds. I truly enjoyed the Belgian Waffle that comes with their house made mixed berry compote and powdered sugar, along with pure maple syrup, and house whipped cream. I liked how the chilled compote, syrup, and whipped cream were served in separate containers so that I could dip! Nice touch! The Belgian Waffle was fluffy and tasty! I also enjoyed my choice of The Lola (White Snickerdoodle Latte) specialty latte with oak milk (extra charge) that features white mocha, cinnamon & vanilla. My husband really liked his order of the Breakfast Burrito with bacon, noting how tasty their house salsa was. His specialty latte was The Moose which is their honey roasted peanut latte (toasted marshmallow, peanut butter & honey). Our orders were taken by the mother of one of the owners. She was very friendly and pleasant, telling us to take our time looking over the menu. She pointed out the month of May specials, and you could tell how happy she was to support this small business. We're thankful to have such a wonderful breakfast and lunch option with specialty beverages on the south side of the Great Bridge Locks. IYKYK

The environment didn't appear to be well maintained, and it made the experience feel unsanitary. What concerned me the most was watching an employee fill my boyfriend's iced coffee with tap water directly from the sink. That completely changed my confidence in how drinks are prepared. Good coffee is important, but cleanliness and proper food handling are just as important. I hope they address these issues because the coffee itself has a lot of potential.

There is lots of seating - bars and high tops - and it's a great spot for a morning gathering. There was a meeting in the upstairs loft happening during my visit. The barista who assisted me was working solo. She was super friendly and happy to answer my questions. I was glad to hear they offer decaf espresso. I opted to try one of their seasonal lattes - the Mounds Bar latte with almond milk, mocha and coconut cold foam. It took only a few minutes for my order to be prepared. I did find the drink to be slightly sweet for my taste and would ask for half sweet on my next visit. For the lactose intolerant, they have almond and oat milk options. Battlefield Boulevard, just outside the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. Having visited their Summit Pointe location before, we were pleasantly surprised by just how spacious this café is. The Great Bridge location offers plenty of comfortable seating, making it an ideal place to meet friends, catch up on work, or simply relax with a great cup of coffee. Their retail area is also much larger, featuring an impressive selection of branded T-shirts, hoodies, mugs, coffee beans, and other merchandise for those who want to take a little piece of Pale Horse home with them. We arrived just before the Saturday morning rush, which proved to be perfect timing. No sooner had we settled into our seats with our lattes than a group of nearly thirty people walked through the door. It didn't take long for the shop to become a lively gathering place. Despite the growing crowd, the atmosphere remained welcoming and unhurried. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to enjoy your favorite espresso drink or simply stopping by to grab a coffee on the go, Pale Horse has created an environment that encourages you to stay awhile. In addition to an excellent selection of coffee, espresso, and handcrafted lattes, they also offer a variety of fresh baked goods if you're looking for something to enjoy alongside your drink. One piece of advice: arrive early. Word has definitely gotten out about this place, and it's easy to see why. Even if you happen to visit during a busy period and have to wait a few extra minutes, the quality of the coffee and the friendly atmosphere make it well worth your patience. Pale Horse Coffee continues to prove that great coffee is only part of the experience. Comfortable surroundings, friendly service, and a welcoming community are what keep people coming back--and after this visit, it's easy to understand why. !
