Went here this morning with the kids. We wanted to try a new place and this did not disappoint. They have a variety of flavors and a build your own menu. The key lime was amazing! They had a special doughnut today which was apple cider. Put vanilla cream cheese on it and it will blow your mind! And of course in basic white girl style.... i had a pumpkin spice latte. One of the best donuts in Hampton Roads. I prefer these guys to duck donuts which are heavier and tend to weigh you down. They have now expanded to Virginia Beach, so I know a lot of people appreciate not having to trek to Great Bridge for one of their delicious donuts. Megan not only helped me out since it was my first visit, but her patience with me to explain and show me the samples on display. As she explained the various Icings, Toppings, Drizzles, and combinations of mixing them, it really made it easier for me. Also her recommendations were great !!! Also available is their freshly made daily Gelato which varies from day to day. If that doesn't get you going there is always Custard and Sorbet for your liking. Came here to grab some donuts since it is oh so close to my house. I will say getting to the place coming from S. Battlefield can be a bit difficult since it isn't too easy to spot the place. Props to the place on trying to make this easier with all the extra signage on the streets! I would have missed the turn had I not seen it. Once inside, there's a good amount of seating inside should you choose to enjoy it right then and there. I ended up getting a variety of donuts to share with some friends at there home. Donut verdict: Pretty good. Better than Happy Day Donuts from what I ate. These donuts seemed more fresh. As for the Krispy Kreme to Dunkin Donuts scale, it's closer to Dunkin Donuts since it's more of the cake donuts. It's still on the light side and almost reminiscent of Duck Donuts, but without the so far of a drive. This place also serves some coffee and gelato. The gelato will be the next visit. The ladies that work here were pretty nice and I hope the business stays. They seem to accommodate their hours according to the traffic from what I've seen of their Facebook page. read more

What a really unfortunate 2nd visit here. Note to self and others: try and go during peak times when its most busiest, think breakfast times (here is why). I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm and I was on the only customer in the store. I ordered my donut, a maple glaze with oreo topping and raspberry drizzle. When I got it, I noticed that the glaze was hard and not melting as my last one did. It was because the donut was not hot, it wasn't even warm. I was looking forward to cutting into a hot donut causing the glaze to melt over top of it, and I didn't get that. The more you know I guess...the next time I visit, I will try to come at a time when they are cranking out donuts left and right to ensure that I get a truly hot and fresh one. read more

They customize their delicious cake donuts based in your choice of icing, topping, and drizzle. Their donut flavors are limited, however, to whatever daily flavors they are making in that particular day. On my visit, they had vanilla and blueberry. I'd had the chocolate donut when a patient's family member brought some to us at work. All flavors were delicious, but I would have liked to have more options. But they do have a lot of choices for the icing/topping, so there are a lot of choices for combinations in that aspect. The shop itself is very cute and warm. Ventured out to Chesapeake to try some donuts and ice cream and they didn't let us down. It's a small shop that packs a punch in the flavor and customer service department. We had the bacon maple glazed, lemon and original vanilla glazed donuts with a scoop of lemon sorbet, cup of cookie dough gelato, and vanilla custard. My son had the donut ice cream sandwich made with a vanilla donut stuffed with Oreo gelato and then rolled in crushed Oreo cookies and topped with powdered sugar! Dang, I wasn't amazed with my maple drizzled Bavarian cream vanilla donut. Maybe it was my fault for being unprepared and not making a crazy donut or maybe it was the Bavarian cream tasting exactly like instant vanilla pudding or the most memorable thing about the maple drizzle was the intoxicating smell, because it did smell delightful but I wasn't amazed.
