I started getting eyelash extensions around February this year. I tried 3 different places and was never really satisfied until I came across Amazing Lash Studio. I had Jodie as my technician and was extremely pleased. The lashes were so natural and soft and lasted a good three weeks. I just went back for a fill-in yesterday and I didn't think it was possible, but they look even better than the first time. The studio is clean and the girls at the front desk are helpful and friendly. They offer membership packages that give you good discounts on their services. (But honestly it last for a long time! 6+ weeks, which I don't get that anywhere else!) Update; since this review, I have been contacted by the studio via email. They offered me a free full set because of my prior experience. I was happy to see the studio respond in a professional way, and after some talking about my experiences, I took up the offer and give them another shot. I came in on a Saturday and we started from scratch. New tech, new cleanser (I was using store bought cleanser and decided to switch to the one they sell to make sure I wasn't messing them up myself), and even new type of lashes. They informed me that they had JUST gotten a new set of lashes, feather weight lashes. Essentially, the theory was that my lashes might not have been strong enough to hold the other fakes, but these are lighter and are supposed to last even longer. The session was great, Jody is amazing and I loved how the lashes came out! I am so happy i took another chance and that they contacted me and handled the situation so professionally! I've come here before & had amazing results but I came again recently & have been pretty disappointed. My lash technician rushed the job & that is shown through my lashes. Some places have so many lashes while others don't have many at all. Some "bald spots" started appearing on day two. My lashes looked better when they were getting done by a trainee. They're not the worst lashes I've seen but they're definitely not what I wanted. Probably will not come back for a fill. They were clean & friendly though. read more

I have visited many amazing lash studios because I am a member (even out of state locations!) and this is by far the worst location I've been to. I've been getting eyelash extensions for 7 years and I've never had such bad eyelash retention. I used to be able to go almost a month without a fill but would still normally try to stay on the two week fill in routine to stay on the safe side. After one week after my fill in with the Wyckoff studio all of my lashes had fallen out. This has never happened to me before. I've tried multiple lash stylists at this location and I've had the same experience every single time. It's not normal to have to be getting a full fill in every week. Besides the retention I really didn't even like the look of my lashes. For whatever reason at this location only they look dull and not full at all and I get 6D sets. Recently I went to another location and had a completely different experience both with the look and retention of my lashes so I can undoubtably say that Wyckoff is doing something wrong. I'm not sure if it's the glue or the application process that their stylists use, but whatever it is is not working. My mom has gone to this location for a while and her lashes always fall out so quickly too. When I tried to ask them about why my lashes fell out so quickly they tried to give me all the excuses in the book about humidity, life activity, maintenance, etc. but I don't buy any of it. There's a reason why I've never experience such bad lash extension quality in the 7 years since I started getting them done!! Stay away from Wyckoff Amazing Lash!! read more

And I was not disappointed! I got my lashes refilled by Adrienne she's done such a great job! She was very personable and friendly; she made me feel comfortable. This was a complete impulse purchase - 1 year membership with touch-ups every 3 weeks (so some months you end up paying for an additional refill) at a better price than I had been told by friends, and I am very happy with the results. I absolutely love this lash studio. I have been doing my lashes since 2016 with the same salon and technician. I was devastated in June to find out they would not be reopening after the pandemic. I found Amazing Lash via a google search for salons close to my home, and I am so pleased. I have seen Chloe a few times who was fantastic, and today I so Rachel. I am over the moon excited on how fantastic they look and how sweet she was. The salon is is clean, everyone is professional, and the Covid protocol is followed to the max. I joined the Amazing Lash membership and booked my appointments for every 2 weeks thru December. I will see Naomi next time who i hear is a master at stunner lashes. I cant say enough about this location. If I had to complain about anything it's the music. The salon I went to in the past played very relaxing spa music. She also recommended products, and was not pushy for me to purchase. My lashes stayed on through the entirety of my vacation, from swimming in the beach/pool to other crazy adventures. Monthly plan is a scam? Overheard the Manager berating one of the front desk girls about booking appointments. Apparently they are not allowed to book a follow up appointment for a customer more than 2-3 weeks away from the last appointment or they have to do a full set instead of a refill. So they are forcing the front desk girls to coerce the customers into booking sooner follow ups. How is this a monthly membership when I'm forced to come in every 2-3 weeks? Also noticed they have switched their glue and it's awful. The lashes fall out much more quickly. Shame on this business for scamming its customers. read more

I tried Amazing lash in Wyckoff since it's close to my house and hours are flexible. I went with introductory rate but they immediately suggested a experienced las tech. I agreed. The tech was nice and explained everything to me and recommended a certain style. End result was ok, I thought lashes were way to long and heavy, however, I did not say anything. I paid $170 with tip. This was done on a Friday, since I had event on a Sunday. Few days later, lashes started falling off, stuck together, I couldn't brush them, glue started itching. I called Amazing lash the following week, rep was nice, she suggested I come in and remove the rest of the lashes and a new set would be done for no cost. I agree, however, my schedule was tight and couldn't schedule anything at that time. I asked the rep to please place notes on my account about my complaints for when I call back it can be considered and not charged. Days passed by, I still had a hectic schedule, so didnt call. Today I called, rep answered, explained everything to rep, asked that she check the notes. No Notes were ever entered. Therefore, rep said she could only give me introductory rate $79 plus waive fee for experienced tech. I didnt agree. I told her i paid $170 I shouldnt pay for anything. Tech said she would speak to Manager. She called me back with same offer. I rejected offer, didnt bother to ask for a refund because im sure i wouldnt get it. Will not use this place again. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I went on a Friday morning to have lashes put on, not a crazy, heavy amount of lashes, but enough lashes so that I did not have to put on mascara everyday. But Saturday afternoon, about 32 hours after the initial lashes were put on, ALL of the lashes on my Left eye had literally fallen off of my previously existing lashes. There were only barely visible lashes left on my left eye & a few clumps of lashes on my right eye! I looked like a feral cat!! AND I had a very important get together that night! I called the Amazing Lash studio on Monday & was told to send them pictures of my lashes at different angles, which was the last thing I wanted to do! I was seen by a part owner/expert lash technician, I believe her name was Amber, later that day, who could care less that this happened & seemed annoyed & NEVER EVEN APOLOGIZED! I HAD NO LASHES ON MY LEFT EYE ANYMORE!!! I had to have a whole new set of lashes put on that day & was told that the issue with my lashes coming off was b/c of the humidity the day I had them put on. I have had lashes put on multiple times over the years in all kinds of weather and never had this issue before. I went to Amazing lash studio in Wyckoff yesterday needing a refill. It was my first time ever going to an amazing lash so I didn't know the procedures that they have. When the girl took me to the back I showed Catherine my goal lash .She began finished within 15 minutes, I look no different then when I walked in I feel as though she only put in like 7 lashes. Once she finished my lashes we're stuck together shut she didn't even brush them out and then handed me soap & paper towel and walked out with no explanation, I assumed your lash tech washes your lashes for you. I walked out paying $174 for absolutely nothing. I'm assuming she's new she didn't look like she was sure of what she was doing. When I got home a couple of the lashes had fallen out as well. Now I have a red bump on my eye & im concerned for what was in that soap or on her tools. Never going back thought I was being pranked. read more

I was able to get the appointment I wanted and the receptionist was amazing, very professional. They ask for a credit card to keep on file for the services you want completed. When I arrived the staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the products and services. I was told to wash my natural lashes with cleansing foam in the bathroom then the lash technician will be with me shortly. I believe her name was Valerie if I'm not mistaken. She took me to a private room and asked what length/style I wanted. She also showed me a picture to confirm the look I was going for. I Told her I wanted it EXACTLY how the picture looked, she said ok. I chose the sexy style with 15 length. I signed up for the membership because I'm addicted to my new lashes. read more

Deleted my previous review trying to give them a billionth chance. Just as previous reviewers say, I've had crazy fallout since I started getting my lashes done here in November. I kept trying to see if it would get better and it was not. Twice the regular lash tech I was seeing would say wow you lost so many lashes let me see what I can do. When I posted my last review quickly a manger reached out to me saying she would do my next refill complimentary. I also scheduled this time with a master stylist so she would cover the extra fee associated with that. Today I went in for a lash refill and the master stylist said I lost so many lashes i would need a full set and she has no time during the appointment. I'm confused as to how the last lash tech still did the appointments saying I need a full set and now after my complaint I actually would need a full set. I did not have the energy to argue after being unhappy for months. I canceled my membership and of course will still be charged for the next month. Don't even care to use those credits because the service I've received here is seriously ridiculous. Also the girl at the front "canceled" my appointment even though I was there and the lash tech herself said she would have no time to do my lashes. Interested to see if they will charge me for this "cancellation." Never had fallout like this at my old lash spot that I went to for 2 years. Only switched cause I moved. Also disclaimer: they don't inform you of this when you sign up for a membership. You pay the $120 a month for a membership but if you come in before your next charge you'll be charged extra because you don't have your credits yet. They FRAUDULENTLY charged my card over $500 for appointments I never made/went in for due to their receptionist never properly saving my contact information. When I went in to discuss the fraudulent charges, they immediately admitted fault and told my that my stylist had been fired for making similar mistakes as though that was any consolation. The owner came out to the front and gave me odd looks as reception handled the refund. They did not offer a discount on future service or anything of the sort, just stared at me like deer in headlights until I exited the store. I am HEAVILY under the impression that they are purposely charging peoples cards without permission or appointment because they assume local clientele is not checking their bank statements. This is fraud and not how business is run. Shame on you all, especially the owner (you know who you are). CUSTOMERS beware. Check your card statements and go elsewhere because they are not a trustworthy or reliable business. This was my first time ever receiving lash extensions and I LOVE THEM! As the below review stated too, I walked in and was greeted by the manager, Sarah and a gal at the front desk who had me fill out three papers (very very short) only took 5-7 minutes. Everyone was super friendly and thoroughly explained the paperwork, process and aftercare. After the paperwork, I was promptly escorted to the back to wash my eyes to make sure my lashes were clean from any debris or leftover makeup. I then went to the room and had a consultation with Catie. I was between Natural and Sexy lashes but couldn't choose. I also wanted volume. Catie suggested I do Gorgeous in the medium length, but also explained why she felt that was a better choice. She told me that I already had thick and longer lashes and because of my eye shape, Gorgeous was better suited. I'm not picky and went with her suggestion! I am so glad I did because they came out absolutely beautiful. I was honestly so scared I was going to look overdone because I don't wear much makeup as it is. Catie completely exceeded my expectations and made them look natural. The two hours also went very quickly. There was zen music playing in the background so I was so relaxed.
