I will say that the salon itself was very clean, organized, and welcoming. The seating was extremely comfortable, and my lash tech was courteous and attentive. She even offered me a drink, which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, the atmosphere and customer service were pleasant. During my appointment, the lash tech mentioned that my natural lashes were thin and offered to sell me a lash serum. I completely understand that my lashes are thin--that is actually one of the main reasons I get lash extensions in the first place. However, what caught me off guard was when she told me, "Your lashes are very thin, and I don't think I can do lash extensions next time." I have been getting lash extensions for the past 20 years and, in all that time, I have never been told by a lash technician that I would no longer be able to get extensions simply because my natural lashes were thin. I understand that lash health is important and that a technician may have concerns about the condition of someone's natural lashes, but the way this was presented left me feeling discouraged and confused. Perhaps there was a genuine concern about the health of my lashes, and if so, I would have appreciated a more thorough explanation and guidance about what specifically she was seeing and why she felt extensions might not be appropriate going forward. Instead, the comment felt a little surprising, especially after being offered a lash serum because of the thinness of my lashes. Overall, the salon was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and the lash tech was very courteous. I truly wanted this experience to be a great one, which is why I was disappointed that I left feeling uncertain about returning. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because the salon has many positive qualities--I just think better communication and explanation regarding concerns about a client's natural lashes would make the experience much better.

Since she did do what I requested I came back but this time she was very annoyed that I called after waiting outside, only for her to continue to treat me poorly and made me very uncomfortable. Alright, I really hate to be writing this review because I've been coming here for a long time now…read more(2 years) but it's been going downhill. I absolutely love their Carmel Mountain location, but I hate their Point Loma location. I've never had issues at Carmel Mountain, but I constantly have issues in Point Loma. I've repeatedly had issues with their website, allowing you to book on days that they are not open and their website hours on Google saying they're open even when they're not. I've contacted them multiple times about this, but the issue has never been resolved. I'll be honest this was one of the only places I have ever trusted to do my eyebrows and I had a great experience a handful of times I've been to Carmel Mountain. But they really need to get new management for the point Loma location. I know it is new, but that is not an excuse for how it is currently running. I've also heard other reviews from friends of mine saying that they will show up on time for their appointment and the staff is not there and has been up to 30 minutes late for their appointment. I hope to continue to be a customer because I do love the Carmel Valley location, but I really hope they can step it up in point Loma. Overall, I have a bad taste in my mouth from the poor experiences in PL.

She also had the best prices from all the quotes I received - it came out to $95 for a light volume. She operates out of her condo and has a set up in the living room. Parking was easy within the community. The lashes looked great for a solid 3 weeks but then one eye started to fall as normal, but the other eye had all of them still on and stuck together... I recall her saying that for some reason the glue wasnt drying right on that eye.. maybe she put extra glue on that eye which caused the sticking together but oh my gosh.. removing them was awful... since they were all clumped together, they wouldn't fall naturally. When I combed them, bunches would fall off! I tried the whole cocunut oil method to loosen the glue but it didnt work :/ I messaged Diana and sent her pictures of what was happening hoping she could help remove them but never receieved a response back... Ultimately I had to pull them off after soaking in cocunut oil for an hour and alot of my natural lashes came off with them!! I definitely cried and ordered rapid eyelash serum to regrow them... I hate writing bad reviews - especially to small businesses but I really don't want another women to have to go through what I had to with my eyelashes
