Stopped in for a manicure. By far the worst manicure I've ever received. Instead of nail clippers she cut all my nails with cuticle cutters very rapidly, with no attention to detail. She then used the small electric buffer on my nails to grind away the cuticles instead of letting them soak and doing it the traditional way. That process left very fine lines on my nail surface. She then filed the nails extremely rapidly with no attention to detail. She then had me soak my fingers in water & proceeded to cut my cuticles the traditional way. I had her buff my nails & that's when I really noticed the fines lines on the surface. I pointed it out & she was very dismissive. She was an older woman & I didn't want to argue so I just paid & left. I'm at a loss for words to explain how poor this experience was. read more

This was the worst spa experience I've ever had! Although they had 12 chairs empty, they put me in a chair that didn't work. I was looking forward to leaning the chair back and feeling the massage while getting a relaxing massage. I asked if they could get the chair to at least recline and they said it was broken. Why didn't they put me in another chair? Then the five ladies working there started mocking me and laughing for most of the service. It was very unprofessional and an uncomfortable situation! I came in for a no polish/buff pedicure looking for just a relaxing hour. The place was clean and had lots of pedicure chairs however I was seated next to a chair that they had a maintenance man working on. Another customer came and she was seated to my other side. Not exactly relaxing. The water was borderline cold and I asked for warmer water, she reluctantly agreed but it was almost full so it made minimal difference. The woman kept asking me if I wanted various upgrades and I said no, just the spa pedicure and I confirmed she could just buff instead of polish. She then decided that a buff was $5 more on top of the $45 spa pedicure. Most places I go do this even for the polish. In the end my nails looked scratched with and my feet were just as rough as I came in and the pedicure was about 30 minutes total. Not worth your time or money!!! read more

I went with my daughter in law and 2 kids we were the first ones in the shop we had 4 workers right away there was no base coat no top coat as soon as more people came in we were rushed out one of our kids didn't have any polish at all no massage of legs we were still charged $35 for basically a soak for 20 min total. the service goes down if your not locals they just want the money what happened to base coats read more

Well it didn't start off well. When I arrived for my pedicure I was told Jimmy, who I had specifically requested, was out sick. I would have liked a call so I could reschedule. I then asked if Vivian was available and Kathy, the owner, said she wasn't. I need special diabetic foot care (extra care when cutting to avoid cuts because they don't heal as well) so I was pretty unhappy. My technician was very nice and did a good job. She put on mask and scrub for legs and warm towels and did a good job for callouses however not so great for massaging of legs, only feet. I would only come back if had Jimmy or Vivian. read more

At first the quality of service was great. After being a consistent and good customer who tipped and appreciated the service and environment- something change my nails will come off after a week or so - break. Initially, when I go in to have technician correct the poor quality of work that was done. Even when I received less than acceptable service; I would tip. After a while tipping for bad quality of work I tipped less or not. Today I went in after having my nails 4redone within a four week period I was not happy(btw I have receips) I was greeted with less than a professional greeting. The greater was argumentative and the worker began to speak in their native language ( directed at me) I never raised my voice or behaved in a less than professional manner. Finally, Tom provide me the service of redoing my nails and during the conversation he validated that his customers nails last from 4 to 5 weeks- I stated I was not going to pay full price for another fill in less than two weeks. The rate was $30 plus I tipped Tom $10.00. I was told by the receptionist, "I know your nail they are oily so they are never going to stay". Ludicrous. I expressed my dissatisfaction and said I would not use their services any longer. The receptionist response was don't, I don't want you here because you cost me money. Really? Anything but amazing. I've been coming to Amazing nails on and off for the past year and after today I've decided I will not return. They owner Kathy has always had a sour attitude and is not very welcoming--the prices are high for the value. Today she overcharged us by over 30% and refused to give my husband a receipt--he paid while my nails were drying. It wasn't until he showed me the credit card charge on his phone that I knew right away something was wonky. I immediately brought this to the owners attention and she knew right away that she got called out and corrected the charge She clearly tried to take advantage of the fact that my husband rarely gets a pedicure and wouldn't notice the gross overcharge. The tech who did my nails today was super slow. I paid for callus removal, which she didn't do properly. She also talked the ENTIRE time, when I clearly wanted to relax. Last visit one of the guys cut the skin on my toenail--ouch!! This spot is inconsistent, over charging, and quite possibly taking advantage of customers. Moved here just about a year ago. Thankful this has become my go-to spot! Rarely a wait longer than 5-10min for walk-in. I don't have to plan my day around an appt, but if I know I need to be done by a specific time, always good to make one. Great people and quality. I decided to get a pedicure while on vacation while my friend had a facial. The chairs and space were nice but i felt uneasy while i was there. It started with the water that places usually put sea salts in to soak your feet. They did nothing. Then the guy tries to push the more expensive pedicure with the callous removal on me. This is usually included in all the pedicures I've ever gotten. The clincher was when he started using a worn out emory board on my toes that was obviously used on other people. And of course they would only allow CASH TIPS. You were not allowed to put it on your credit card. The whole thing was icky. Never going back there again. Nothing was 'Amazing' at this spa. read more

Had to ask the person doing my pedicure to wear gloves since he was doing a pedicure before me and did not wash his hands afterward. Health department should shut this place down. I was told that the back fill was 45.00. when I went there the woman /manager spoke in her language what to do. the technician pretended as if he knew nothing and decided to give me a full pink and white fill. I observed him and kept silent since they all decided to prove to me that they are criminals. a full pink and whit fill is 55.00. I have been going to this salon for 6 years. Nina does my pedicure and she is the best!!! Actually Nina has been doing my pedicures since I moved to the desert, so I followed her here when she left the salon which was closer to my hone. Altogether Nina has been doing my pedicures for 11 years. This is a full service salon. Kathy is the owner and she does a wonderful job of accommodating her customers. They also have a masseur on the premises, who can give you a shoulder rub while you are getting your pedicure, or it you want more, you can sit in a massage chair, or go into a private room for the best massage ever. If you want the best pedicure, manicure, massage or anything else a full Salon has to offer Amazing Nails is the place for you! read more

I came here on my lunch break (mind you I called before to make sure they had time for a dip manicure) and sat with my fingers in acetone for an hour letting my old dip powder soak off. Didn't have time for them to redo the dip so I ask them for just a manicure to make them look nice. Clearly even that was too much to ask. & to top it all of was still asked to pay $20. I'm giving this place a 2 star because friends and I decided we wanted to get our nails done, so we found the nearest place. They were nice to us and got us seated quickly. But than everything went south. The guy doing my friends nails was really rude to her and and my friend and I we were getting the same thing done, regular acrylic nails with normal nail polish but for some reason the guy doing my nails told me it's going to cost $40. I told him that on the paper it says 30 and my friends guy that was doing her nails also said it's 30. So then I was like OK maybe this guy doesn't know but at the register I'll see what they say. He did my nails very quickly, at first I thought it was very clean but then I noticed when he did the second coat you could see the two layers. I didn't really mind it, I liked it anyways. The nails did look very thin to me at, they were not good quality. Then when my friend and I went to go pay at the register, the lady told my friend $30 and me $40. Then I grabbed my friends hand and my hand and showed it to the owner and told her that we got the same thing done. It's not OK why am I getting charged more. Then the owner said the guy said it's $40. Then she called the guy, over and he says that he's charging me extra for filing them, which doesn't make sense because my friend and I got the same exact coffin shape. Then he says OK $35. Then I was like 35 is OK technically five dollars are the tip and I left. The next day my friends nail broke, with a simple touch on the table. That means that the nails were not good quality and she did not feel any pain those nails were not stuck on. The third day my thumbnail broke. Again I did not feel any kind of pain it just snapped off. I believe the owner is purchasing cheap product, which is not strong and doesn't hold the nail. I am very upset with this because my nail broke on the third day. It did not feel like I even got my nails done. It was a waste of money. I have never left a bad review, I am just very upset. These nails look like something I would do at home. read more
