Girlfriends weekday away!! My friend found this place so off we went. Pedicure for $32. Able to get all four of us at one time, well almost. Three out of four immediately, but no problem I was able to enjoy the foot bath and massage chair 10 min longer. Can't complain there! Place seemed okay. No extra surcharge for using a credit card which was great! The gal who did my toes was good, not great! I felt she didn't spend much time on the grooming part of my pedicure as she talked a good amount of time to her co-worker which was giving another pedicure next to me. Now the massage, she took much more time on that and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Come to find out, my three girlfriends where not impressed with their pedicures. Not enough time on the grooming part, my friend said the male who gave her pedicure had an attitude of not really caring and rushed through her entire pedicure. I suppose that means, we will look for yet another place next time we are in town. So far when we've picked nail salons in the desert, we have encountered issues with services rendered. And the prices they charge are way more than the effort. It's disappointing for sure. Kenny did a killer job! I'm very picky when it comes to my nails and have exacting standards for them. He's polite and efficient. My nails were the perfect thin-ness (I know that's not a word but you get what I mean.) I had a powder dip french tip-almond shape with chrome finish. I'm getting married in Palm Desert and he is definitely my wedding nail guy. My Aunt is a local and she goes frequently to have her nails done there. Forty six dollars (46) for a basic 20 minute pedicure that didn't even include scrub or full polish. Total rip off. So just going off the response from the business manager, for thirty two dollars (32) you get to soak your feet, nails clipped and a massage. Still a rip off. Not once did your tech say anything was extra. Good business is letting the client know what comes with a service and what is extra. That's where you failed, took advantage and did a poor job. And don't worry, just looking at the responses from all the other bad reviews we're aware that somehow it'll be spun around to make it seem like it's our fault and we need to take out business elsewhere. read more

The picture speaks for itself. My girlfriend went after work for a Mani Pedi and had to leave because she was 10 min late to her appointment. The service she received was a sloppy pedicure as shown in the picture without her cuticles removed. She was charged $38 and told, due to time restrains, he can only do a polish change on her nails! ***No hot towel - no cuticle trim or callus scrub .....and no oil massage after the clay mask .....the paint job was rough and no top coat. She was also over charged! She left the nail salon and went to another location to have the work completed. This is unacceptable and poor service! read more

I had been going to Jessie for over a year. Last time I was in, she kept looking at the clock. Rushed me through. Hardly any leg or hand massage. Talked to manicurists on either side of my chair the entire time. I have had two good experiences at this salon. The third time I went the technician was busy talking to his colleague while he was pumicing my feet and gave my skin a good gouge with the tip of the pumice stone. He treated it very nonchalantly and basically said it was no big deal, but it took a chunk out of my skin, it bled, and it hurt for a week and I have a red mark there. I wasn't planning on not going back, because people make Mistakes, but I find I can't bring myself to return for two reasons. One, it happened because he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing and two, he did not apologize or treat it as serious. read more

I'm wondering where all those people got their manicure license? Do they even have any? Even 5 year old could put nail polish on better. So much disappointment for almost $60. I asked clean cuticles, they barely touched it so I ask for clippers and did it myself, same with shape. Are they blind? No,they just don't care. This has been my go-to nail salon for over 4 years and I won't be going back. I had a pedicure today and the technician did not provide me with a menu of services and pricing, she asked "regular or deluxe". I asked for the deluxe service. The pedicure was basic at best, I don't think she even applied enough pressure with the callous removal to remove any actual dried skin. I was unaware the service had ended as no lotion had been applied to my feet and legs, only oil. According to her, the deluxe pedicure does not include lotion. Odd, since every other time I've had the same service at the same salon it has included lotion. Saying I'm disappointed is an understatement. I recommend this nail spa to everyone who asks for one and after today I'm embarrassed. Las Palmas was a great salon once upon at time, however that time has passed. read more

Will not return. Polish already chipping just two hours after. In town for the weekend and decided to get a pedicure done. Decided to get their deluxe pedicure and I could have gotten more out of the experience if I did it myself. The time from my feet in the water to the point of polish was only 15min. Very short compared to any other spa pedicure I've had before. When I arrived I showed my pedicurist the design I was looking for and she even helped me picked out the colors. By the time we got to polish she changed her mind and said she couldn't do that. I told her then I will need a few minutes to pick a new design and was met with sighs of impatience. After that I picked a fireworks design and she just smeared some polish on and when I told her I wasn't satisfied this just looks like a blob she started to argue with me and say it's because my toe was too small over and over. In the end I just showed her a simple line design. Not what I was hoping for but ok with. Until the paint started chipping two hours later. read more
