Horrible experience. A regular pedicure took well over an hour and my toenails aren't even even - the person filed them wrong. They put on so much polish that my nail smudged three hours after leaving the salon. For what you pay any other place in the surrounding area would be a much better option read more

While I love the owner, and I even like the Fairfax location (I've got SNS full sets), I was disappointed in the Centreville location services. I went in on Sunday for a Gel-X set, by Tuesday three nails popped off, I came in Wednesday morning which the nail tech fixed, only for three more to pop off by Thursday. It is now Saturday and I have no nails on so many wast definitely wasted. I've gotten Gel-X before at other locations and just by observation it seems the nail tech is still learning how to do them. (I could be wrong but that's my observation). I'll probably stick to the Fairfax location when I go here and probably stick with SNS when I do. Do they do good nails? Yes, from to time. I've had to come in 4 times in 1 week though because "the cold cracked my SNS" which is complete BS. Every time I turned around I had a cracked nail w/ that brand. The dip powder was a trash brand. I stopped coming after that. Designs? Usually on point, but sometimes you'll be pushed off to an inexperienced person who will make your design hideous. Don't allow this to happen. Cleanliness? Look elsewhere. The one time I got water it was served to me in an acrylic champagne glass, there was still remnants of someone else's OJ in it on the sides. The water was warm too, likely from tap. Business etiquette? Non-existent. Follow the social media page and you'll see how it's not only used for business + personal as well. I know in the beauty industry lines are blurred often because clients feel like their friends, but they're customers. Don't be confused, we're paying for a service. Your business page about nails should avoid posts that can be seen as racist through your so-called advocacy for Asians. read more

Tried this place since I had a gift card. Made reservations on-line. I randomly selected a server by number, no names attached. I learned to just call if I wanted to request a certain person. We'll notes for next appointment. Decided to have spa pedicure and gel manicure. The spa pedicure was DEVINE! The salt, wax and massage was all so nice. The one suggestion when cutting the cuticle is not to twist the skin before cutting. She should have just cut the side skin. I'll have to say so next time, but I was enjoying the massage chair and the whole process that I didn't feel like talking. Spent a little over two hours for both services, but so worth the time of relaxing. I was in no rush. I did feel like I was being attended to. Went today 3/1/25 to get a full set for the first time there and the lady that did them was really nice. However she did not do a very good job with my nails (see pics) nails were lumpy, inconsistent, chipping and not cleaned well. When I asked her if she could fix the issue she said no it's fine it's fine so I asked again she repeated. So I paid and left because I was in a hurry. When I got home (15min drive) the tip of one of my nails chipped and when I looked at my nails I noticed they were lumpy and completely horribly done. I called the salon and spoke to a the manager. I told her I would text her pictures because I could not make it back as I was leaving on a trip. She refused my refund and was completely unprofessional and rude to the point to try saying I was taking advantage of the service. Service and nails were mediocre. I stopped by a couple days ago and got a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. They did my toes first which was expected. I picked a more translucent color for my toes and the lady kept saying that it's too clear. She was convinced to change my mind. When I said no, she then said I needed to get my legs waxed and that I'm too hairy. I was shocked that she would go so far as to insult my "hairy" legs. Not only that, she was really rough with cuticle care. She didn't nip me bad enough to bleed, but it was definitely painful. Gel manicure was also a rough process. Cuticle care was really painful and she did not care to be more gentle when I expressed the pain. As for color, I was very specific in what I wanted but she failed to execute the different colors I wanted even though it was neither difficult nor nail art. I won't be coming back and I don't recommend this place unless you like rough cuticle care and nail techs who make their own decisions about your nail color. read more

Yesterday afternoon I decided to go to the salon and get a nail fixed that my usual nail tech Tiffany would do, unfortunately she was unavailable, so she sent me to another nail tech. I needed to get my index finger and my thumb redone as the acrylic was coming off- an unfortunate occurrence that happens pretty consistently to me almost every week after getting my nails done here. Not a fan of this and it should have been my indicator to not come back. Another technician, a woman who sits in the back at the second table, was trying to quickly take off the nail on my index finger so she slid a plastic acrylic underneath my nail- what she did instead was slice through my own nail bed and ripped the skin off of my finger. I am not new to acrylics so the sharp pain immediately let me know something was wrong. She dismissed my pain saying she could fix it- my finger immediately welled up with blood and began dripping all over her towel. I want to show you what was done to me in the picture enclosed. Tiffany is a great tech- probably the only one that this salon employs that cares deeply about her customers. She had always done right by me, but this job by the other tech was atrocious and I would not recommend this salon to anyone with the fear that something like this could happen to them. My index finger's nail bed was essentially torn off after prying the acrylic off of my nail- lots of blood (and antiseptic) was spilled and this botched job at a simple repair is unacceptable. Not only that, but the nail tech refuses to admit, she is the cause of the problem-somehow this is not her fault. Do not. I repeat -do not- come here if you value your hands and your health. The likelihood of me getting an infection from this is pretty high and I'm thankful that as of right now I'm fine. The manager was not notified of this incident. Maybe this will give management an idea of how poor the service can be from this particular manicurist. Choose another salon. read more

I started coming back here again recently, and the staff here is as amazing and friendly as they've always been. They really take pride in their work, and I'm back here for the first time since the pandemic started. It's crazy to see everyone so spaced out considering how packed it always used to be! Super glad they're following all regulations, and it was always clean before, but now it's SPOTLESS - and I know they're still getting plenty of business. They deserve every bit of these five stars. I'll be so sad to let this place go when I move in the coming months, and they'll definitely be tough to replace. Came in for a Sunday at 2pm appointment. Was taken about 10 minutes early and seated right away so that was great. I showed the nail tech (Nina) a photo of what I would like done. She said that was fine and started on my acrylics. I had booked a normal acrylic session and she had started with SNS right away. SNS really makes your nails chunky so I wasn't a fan of that. I picked a different blue than the photo, but asked for same shape and same design. As you can see, completely different nail shape and different design. A lady on the phone told me that it would be $60, the lady who did my nails told me $67 and then at checkout it was $72. Not sure how we added $17 without me knowing but alas I paid and left. Just not great product unfortunately. UPDATE: The owner contacted me and offered me a redo on my nails. She booked me quickly with Tiffany and had me come back In free of charge. Tiffany did an amazing job on my nails and got it as close to the photo as she could! She talked to me the whole time, made me comfortable and made sure that everything was to my liking. The pedi was done so wrong... the technician did the color then clear then color again and then topped it off with more clear. Abby does a really wonderful job with my nails! She is so patient and sweet. I started with getting dip but because of my job and how clumsy I am I kept breaking them, so we decided to do acrylic and my nails always look great! I'm insanely picky about my nails, thickness, shape, design, etc. Abby always takes her time and is patient with me, she never rushes me to get to her next client. I've always been treated well at this shop and everyone is so kind. They have recently renovated and the shop looks really nice. My husband comes occasionally to get a sports pedicure and he is always very happy. My clients are always complimenting me on my nails and I always reccomend them to come here! Horrible service. Kept insisting I take a higher priced service when all I wanted was a regular. And then when I came to the counter my bill was $130 without tip for regular pedi and dip nails. I wouldn't mind paying as much if the service was excellent and my nails turned out to my liking. I have never paid this much for such horrible service. Make sure you ask how much each service is.
