I brought my husky in today for an exam, flea treatment, and vaccines. I couldn't thank you enough how kind and caring the staff was. They were very patient with my dog, because she can be such a handful. One person in particular, I believe his name is Anthony (he has dark hair & glasses) from what another employee told me, was outstanding. He noticed I was struggling with my Husky while trying to fill out paperwork. He came outside and helped me and made the process way less stressful. I took my boy cat to neutered here about two weeks ago. Additionally, he also got microchipped, flea medication, and vaccines. They even gave him a free dental cleaning which would have been expensive otherwise. This was a total of $205. Considering the various procedures they did on him, I believe this price was more than generous. I requested an appointment on their online website site and got a response via email the next day. I was able to get an appointment a few days after that. As for the neutering process it was very fast. I got there at 7am and left him there at about 7:30. About an hour later he was ready for pickup. I also took my girl cat to get vaccinated and flea medication for a total of $40. I highly recommend this place! read more

Great place to bring your furr baby! I brought my two cats to get neutered and each time they treated my baby with kindness and love. Another time I came desperately asking for help as my 2 year old orange cat seemed sad and was not being himself. I had recently lost my dad and he felt my pain. As a first-time and very sensitive cat mom, I was pretty anxious, especially when my cat had some post-surgery reactions that worried me. I reached out, and Beverly personally called me. I got my cat spayed here and had a seamless experience! I emailed them to schedule and was able to get an appointment about a month out for the spaying (not urgent). Their team is very efficient on surgery days and my cat was ready by 10am (drop off was 6am). My cat (10 months old) was already feeling better by day 2. THE BEST! I've brought 45+ cats here over the last year to be spayed/neutered and they are so good and low cost! The City vouchers don't cover 100% of the cost, but I know as a small business you gotta cover your costs to keep the place running! They are super responsive by email for appointments and animal records. Yes, sometimes you have to wait while you drop off or pick up. But this is a low cost Vet with higher than "normal" volume. You help everyone and because of you the world and our community is a batter place. Animals have better lives because you breathe and care. I had no revue experience and came across a small colony of starving, cold, and homeless kittens. I was scared to death. I took them in and I was lost. My son's fraternity rescued this cat when he was four weeks old and needed to get him fixed. We found this particular office because the cat qualified for LA Animal Services Free Spay & Neuter. We were able to get an appointment quickly. We were able to do it on a weekend when it was more convenient for us to be able to stay home and make sure that the kitty relaxed after the procedure. Everybody at this office is very kind, they have a lot of animals going through there, and they have an organized manner of getting everybody through smoothly and quickly. We actually showed up much later than planned because the cat doesn't know me as well and wasn't gonna let me get near him to bring him in, so once my son got there, I was able to get Goobs in the carrying case to bring him to the appointment. Despite us being late, they still managed to fit us in and were even kind enough to do his surgery right away before a van full of TNR cats were coming through. We took our 6 month old Netherland Dwarf bunny here for neutering. (Snip snip) Very reasonable fees and they provided painkiller and some emergency food afterwards. Be prepared for a bit of wait with many other pets and their owners for the intake, but once they admitted him, we were assured he would be operated on soon and be out in a hour (it took almost 2 hours) but that wasn't a problem for us. We hung around the shopping center while we waited. Once we got him home, we let him have some quiet time. The next day he seemed back to his usual activity, and on the second day he seemed completely recovered with no side effects. I was recommended to this vet hospital by another hospital because I was looking for a low income hospital for my cat so I got the number I had to text the number I was very detailed on my finance situation I couldn't be more clear. The person i was texting did give me the option of taking him to another emergency hospital and they would donate $300 towards the bill but I thought about it figured it would be triple $300 so I decided to wait and go to ASAP hospital since I had already discussed my finances with them and they were willing to help so I thought. Walking in wasn't the best customer service but wasn't horrible but differently can be better and more organized once I was called in to a room doctor Andy I believe his name was took a look we talked he said ok let me put a estimate together again I made it clear that the reason I called off work and drove my poor cat for an hour and 30 minutes away was because I needed the help financially and was told they would help me after everything was said and done my bill came up to $500 I had my last $150 to my name gave them that but I was so confused because now I have a balance of $350 that they need me to pay payments on which there's no way I can I live paycheck to paycheck I gave God thanks every day cuz he makes it enough for me to survive but they wanted me to do payments of $116 a week ok a week not a month but every week I got them to lower it to $70 a week I asked what happened to the $300 they were willing to donate to the other hospital but they said no that was something different and they can't help me don't get me wrong I am thankful for the chance to be able to make payments but seriously how do I do this working at a minimum wage job I called off work and drove an hour and 30 minutes I didn't make it home til 4pm and didn't get the financial help I desperately needed the doctor/owner Beverly is honestly amazing very attentive personal I was able to call her in the middle of the night cuz my cat still wasn't responsive and so was Valerie those two hands down were amazing but the receptions that charged me out wow the complete opposite horrible hands me my pets blood work and automatically says she didn't explain anything about your blood work so I don't know says to give my cat the pain medicine at night thank God Beverly the doctor answered my call at night cuz she said no do not give the pain medicine till the morning it was quite the experience to say the least I mean Beverly Valerie and Dr.Andy I am super grateful and thankful for what you guys did unfortunately because of the reception at the end and my finances it was not the experience I would want to go thru again but read more

The entire staff was so friendly & made you feel comfortable...So now to the good stuff!!!...Yesterday as my 4 month old puppy was playing her entire insides came popping out of her butt...I later learned after reading Dr. Google that is is called "Rectal Prolapse"...it's where it literally looks like a ginormous hemorrhoid...it looked so painful and after calling around there was a place on 190th that said we could bring her in...now being a new puppy mom I was panicked...we get there lickitty split (Hubby must have ran a few lights)...they take her back and 10 minutes later they tell me..."it's gunna be $2000 to fix it" I think at that very moment my insides came out if my butthole...There was NO WAY we could afford that and using credit was not an option...So sadly we bring our fur baby home and I start calling around....First off nobody gives you a price over the phone & you have to pay an exam fee (even though we already know what the problem is)...after even calling a vet hospital in Mexico a light bulb went off...I remembered that my niece's BFF's gramma was a vet...after back and forth texting (at 11:00 at night...like what Dr. texts back & forth that late)...she said bring her in at 7am so I brought her in at 7 the next day.... 4 hours later our fur baby had her insides back in (although she's not happy because she has to wear a cone for a few days) but is on the road to recovery just when you think there is no hope an angel appears in form of a doctor who's passion for the love of animals come thru shiny & clear!!! This was the best, cost effective, efficient, well mannered staff animal hospital I have ever been to! I needed to have my two bunnies neutered and decided to try this place. I came unprepared, without a carrier and they still accommodated me. Beverly, the owner, was so kind. She took time to ask questions even through they were busy and told me when things were unnecessary (vaccine in this case). I was actually able to wait for the bunnies to have their procedure and took them home all in less then an hour. If you're looking for an amazing animal clinic, look no further. This place is good and very affordable. The staff is amazing and nice except for one older white lady the one in the front with grey hair. That lady is so rude to all people she lacks compassion and costumer service. She sounds so annoyed all the time. I get it gets busy and packed in the lobby. But I work as a medical receptionist as well and you have to control your emotions. Don't show up all stressed and be mean to people. I don't understand why they have appointments. Me and dozen other pet owners dropped off pets in the morning and by 6 they still weren't done. Nearly every employee had a horrible attitude. I asked to just have my cat back and they told me to hold on and suddenly he was on the table. Their excuse was they had to do the girl cats first. Why 4 hours after his appointment could I not just take him? I told them I didn't want to do his vaccines there anymore because at that point I didn't trust them and miraculously they were already being performed. To tell myself and other countless customers that they just have emergencies and the cats weren't their priority but I can't take him home is insane! So many animals had been there since the early morning and haven't eaten because it's in the instructions not to feed them. But according to the staff that's okay. It's okay to them but not to any customer. The waiting room was overflowing with people and no one was being helped. If they cannot fulfill their appointments then simply reduce them! Out of every staff member in there only one was considerate. One. To have animals locked away for hours at a time with no food and then give upset customers attitude is absolutely unacceptable. read more
