    Breakfast burrito
    Tracy R.

Great açaí bowls, mediocre other breakfast food. If you're looking for an açaí bowl, this is the place to be! I came here on a Wednesday morning, food was out quickly. - Açaí (organic) bowl: 5/5. This was the star of my order, the açaí was sweet and flavorful but not in an artificial way, and the granola and fruit added nice textures and dimension to the bowl. Strawberries were sweet and yummy. -Breakfast burrito with a tomato tortilla (added bacon): 3/5. The burrito was quite sizable and full of potatoes, eggs, and cheese. There was a bit too much cheese and the burrito felt unbalanced, there's was no salsa, sauce, or "wow" factor that brought the burrito home for me. But if you're looking for something to fill you up, it's pretty good. -Granola smoothie: 1/5. I got this smoothie on a recommendation of a staff member, but I didn't like it at all. The blended granola gave the smoothie a grainy texture, and the strawberry or banana flavors weren't very distinct. It just kinda tasted... blah. Avoid this one. This is a small place, so not very many sitting chairs. The ambiance was friendly and welcoming, playing some Hawaiian tunes and cool vibes. Will be coming back for the açaí bowls for sure.

Nice spot to get your smoothie fix. The workers are nice and quick to make your order. I got the vita mango and guava shake. Both were super smooth and creamy, but tasted a bit similar. They were both enjoyable though so I can't complain. I saw another customer get the acai bowl, which looked massive and delish! I'd definitely opt to get that next time. While this isn't the most modern of places, it has a bright and homey feel to it which makes me wanna come back despite these not being the best smoothies I've had!

Açaí bowl with coconut, chia seeds, & honey added

Over this past weekend I found myself craving an açaí bowl. In the past, I have enjoyed the açaí primo bowl at Jamba Juice, but I wanted to continue pursuing my goal to personally seek out small business alternatives. Amazon Juices was a fantastic find. I was greeted kindly by Hannah, the lovely cashier who helped me this Sunday. I informed her that I had never been there before, and she answered my many questions considerately. I definitely wanted to try their açaí bowl, but was between the two sizes they offer. Hannah pointed out the minuscule price difference, which led me to go with the 24oz, and I'm very happy I did. I requested that honey, chia seeds, & coconut be added. It was delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of that bowl. The amount of granola that the bowl comes with was very generous, and the same goes for all the toppings I asked for. Without the toppings I ordered, the price was about the same as the açaí bowl at Jamba juice, except you'll get a higher quantity of better quality ingredients here. My only complaint - No goji berries! I think you guys could really benefit from adding that as a topping option. I know I'd order it.

Overall a cute shop and a good place to stop for lunch. SERVICE: they seemed to be understaffed so it took about 20 minutes to get our food, but we weren't in a rush so we didn't mind. they gave us a giant cup of granola when i just asked for extra granola - so nice FOOD: pretty average acai bowls. the breakfast burrito was so big for just $4.95. can't beat those prices. wish that the outdoor dining tables were more clean, but other than that, i had a good experience.

I've been here a couple of times now, I've tried their acaí bowl, their granola smoothie, all of their empanadas(spinach and cheese one is my favorite), their breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich, and banana smoothie(so so good!) It has ALL been delicious. Their portions are very fair for the price. If you're looking for a delicious smoothie, something filling and tasty. This is the spot to go!

I have been wanting to try Amazon Juices for a long time. I was craving a smoothie bowl so I decided to try it out. First off, the decor is so fun and cute! Also the employees are very kind and helpful. I ordered the dragon fruit smoothie bowl for $9.75. I thought it was a little pricy at first, but when I saw the size and toppings on the bowl I had no regrets. The smoothie was bright and delicious. The fruit was super fresh. It was very nice and refreshing on a hot day. Overall, Amazon Juices is definitely worth the money. This is definitely going to be a new regular spot for me!

I was REALLY craving an acai bowl as an afternoon pick-me-up and this hit the spot! I got their smaller sized acai bowl and it was ready in about 5 minutes. Friendly service and an overall pleasant experience. They have a huge range of other menu options that totally appeal to me, which include smoothies, juices, and actual meals (plates, tacos, burritos). Free parking around the corner in a lot that looks like it's for the condo building next door.

Gluten-free avocado toast & very berry smoothie. Yum!
    Bree G.

This place is awesome. I have a banana allergy which has made smoothie/acai experiences in the past difficult. This place always rinses their blenders before they make my smoothies and I have never had an issue. I really appreciate when businesses choose to be compassionate about something like that. They also carry many gluten-free food options! I would recommend their avocado toast. Totally satisfying!

Tried the fresh spring rolls, SO refreshing -- like a salad -- but with delicious and gluten-free peanut sauce. Loved it. Quite filling as the two rolls are chonky. Chased my rolls with an indulgent vegan GF lemon cake. Super lemony which is awesome. Dense and drier but so tasty, I don't mind a dense cake, actually. A huge hit! Will order both again!!! I took home the extra peanut sauce and used it on steamed potatoes, delicious. My father-in-law had a breakfast burrito which he took home half of, extra value, it's two meals. Hubby had the tofu scramble which was a bit dry, he added some of my peanut sauce to jazz it up. He wish he'd ordered his usual fave, the Bo Thai. But points for trying something new!

Butcher Counter at 41st Location is a Problem: The rest of…read morethis Whole Foods is genuinely great, and the staff throughout the store are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the butcher counter is a serious weak spot -- both in quality and service. On the craft side, the butchering is sloppy. The NY strip steaks are being cut from the nerve end of the loin, which any skilled butcher knows should be repurposed rather than sold as premium full strips. The pork chops have the same problem -- end cuts with that ragged, uneven "cap" where the muscle narrows are being sold right alongside uniform center-cut chops, at the same price, with no distinction made. These aren't nitpicky complaints; they're basic standards that a full-service butcher counter should meet. With one notable exception (there's one guy there who's actually great - tall, Caucasian, ~30 YOM), the service ranges from indifferent to actively rude. Expect to be ignored before anyone acknowledges you. If you order half a pound of ground beef, they'll grab two-thirds of a pound and start wrapping without asking, then get an attitude if you point it out. Ask for two pork chops and you might get one that's half the size of the other. Request specific pieces from the case and you'll be treated like you're being difficult. The biggest issue for me: they wrap chicken directly in butcher paper without a plastic bag first. I learned this the hard way when chicken juice leaked all over my refrigerator overnight. That's not just sloppy -- it's a food safety problem. I want to support this store, and I genuinely enjoy shopping there. But the butcher counter's combination of poor technique and poor service means I won't shop here if I need to buy meat. It's a real shame.
