It was so good that I devoured and forgot to take a picture!! My typical go-to is Blue Bowl but this will be my go-to if Blue Bowl isn't accessible! So much toppings and there are unique bases that other places don't offer. Even their drinks are good because while the combination sounds like it might not work, they got the ratio of each ingredient just right that no singular flavor overpowers one another!! read more

Amazing service and acai. The girl working at the counter was accommodating and super sweet for checking in with my party for certain ingredient replacements. The amazonion boat is perfect if you want to sample all the regular/ ube / spirulina acai! My favorite of the three was the regular acai, it wasn't too icey and very rich and smooth. The spirulina has a stronger pineapple flavor, while the ube was light and creamy. I dined in around 3-4 pm and it was chill around this time, and most people ordered takeout so it was quiet inside For the ube cream latte, it was good (to me) with the oat milk. However if you prefer a sweet latte I would not get this, as there isn't added sweeter. I will have to say the ube cream doesn't have much flavor - but it made the coffee creamier which I like! Definitely recommend this place for the acai and will be coming back :) read more

My absolute favorite spot for acai bowls, and it's not even close. What sets Amazonia apart is their bases. Yes, the traditional acai is great, but the Paradise base is on another level -- a blue spirulina blend with the most refreshing tropical flavor I've ever had in a bowl. I always come back to it topped with honey almond granola, goji berries, cacao nibs, and banana chips. Every bite is the perfect balance of flavors and textures. I love making a little ritual out of it -- biking over, soaking up some sun, and enjoying my bowl. It's honestly one of my favorite ways to spend a morning or afternoon. Service is always friendly, though it can get a little slow when online orders pick up. A small price to pay for something this fresh and unique. Highly recommend! read more

My 2nd visit was a much much much better experience. I asked the lady working for her suggestion, and it was an option I never considered. I asked for a sample and 30 seconds later, I was sold. What a fantastic combo (ube & coconut)!!! Watching the bowl be prepared, she made it exactly as requested. I asked for some granola on the bottom, before the layers of ube and coconut were put in. Some chia seeding pudding, more granola, fresh fruit and toasted coconut to top it off. I'm glad I gave this spot another chance. This was the experience and satisfaction I was expecting after reading others reviews. :) read more

Definitely the best place I've found for an açaí bowl! They have so many options and the service there is amazing. This place has solid acai bowls! I came in to get a small size with acai base. Their base is on the thicker side and has a delicious strong acai flavor. They have many toppings and fruits to choose from. Despite choosing a small size, they are generous with the toppings and fill up the acai bowl and so I was pretty full after. Service is good and got my order quickly. I like that they have several parking spaces out right in front of the store which makes it super convenient! read more

The smoothie bowl was delicious! Definitely recommend it. I will say that they are limited on a few butters such as cashew butter but their almond butter or peanut butter was still good. Found this place because of the high yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. I am always on the lookout for amazing açaí and this place really delivered! I had never had ube as a flavor in açaí before and it went really well with the peanut butter and granola. It was nice to get really chocolate chips instead of just cacao nibs. Also I LOVE that they didn't make me choose between peanut butter and Nutella. This was a packed bowl for less than I usually pay at everbowl. I now come every time my sister comes into town. I always get a large and I always get as many toppings as possible. Toppings are unlimited, and I always end up asking if there is even room to add more. I feel so bad because they always hand cut everything fresh and it takes so long to make my order, so I always make sure to tip. Inside is always quiet with plenty of seats. read more

The lady wearing the blue eyeshadow was very rude and had an attitude. It was our first time visiting, so we were asking questions about specific smoothies, but she seemed careless and uninterested in explaining anything. After our drinks were made, she simply left them on the counter without letting us know they were ready. Out of courtesy, most places will at least call out an order or let customers know when it's ready, but nothing was said. Overall, the experience felt very unwelcoming. Customer service goes a long way, especially with first-time customers. Management should focus on hiring and training staff who treat everyone with kindness and respect, without making assumptions or profiling customers. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression. read more

Every time I come to HB, Amazonia Bowl is an absolute must!! Their bowls are fresh, delicious and they dont use diluted or cheap ingredients like other places. You can just tell they care a lot about their products. The atmosphere here is incredible. Chill, laid-back, great energy, and the best part is that you're right by the beach. Their staff is beyond amazing too, so friendly and energetic and they really make you feel like family, even if it's your first time. If you come to HB and you're not coming to Amazonia, you're doing it wrong. This place is 10/10. Highly recommend! read more

Goodness gracious, this was the best acai bowl I've ever had. And that is saying a lot because I went through a 2.5-year acai hyperfixation period where I basically ate one every single day (crazy, I know). I've tried acai bowls from more places than I can count (in San Diego, LA, Hawai'i, Barcelona, Madrid, you name it) and this still tops. I didn't have any expectations because my dad is the one who suggested we stop by on our trip in Huntington Beach. The storefront is really small too, but there is limited seating (and a bathroom!). The man who took our orders was super nice, and he explained how everything works; basically, you choose your bases (they scoop it for you) and then move to the unlimited(!!!) toppings bar (they also scoop it for you, but you can tell them to add more or less). He also cut the fruit fresh for us! Usually, when I go to acai places, they either only have acai or acai and pitaya. Those are the most common, I'd say. But no, Amazonia Bowl had so many options! Trust me, I had a hard time deciding. I ended up getting a large size so that I could try more flavors. Oh, and they also give you samples of the bases before you choose! I can't remember all of the names, but I got the bright blue flavor, ube, coconut, and acai. Ube was my favorite! So unique, too. For the toppings, I got the blue chia seed pudding, the flavored granola, blueberries, strawberries, bananas, mango, coconut flakes, and cacao nibs. THIS WAS AMAZING! A flavor bomb. My cousins also got a bowl, but they had a different flavor combination. Be wise in your base and toppings choices!! It will make or break your bowl!!! The granola on the bottom and top made sure there was a crunch in every bite, the fruits were among the freshest I've had, and the crazy amount of different flavors made sure i was never "sick" of anything. Sorry, I know I went off on a tangent here, but it's because it really was so good. I'm sad I can't have one right now. If I go back to Huntington Beach, this will definitely be stop...no compromising!! read more

Expensive and unsanitary. It was basically $50 for 3 bowls (2 small, 1 medium). The acai was a weird consistency, the granola was stale, and the chia was clumpy. They didn't rinse cutting utensils between groups, and you could see old banana and strawberry on the slicer. read more

my iced Americano tasted pretty good. It wasn't super stand out to me, but nonetheless, not a bad option. I was impressed with how affordable it was and I thought the portion size was solid. I love the environment of plants on the wall . It felt very tropical. The employee was not attentive. It took her a long time to notice me. She never once smiled. I ended up being late to work because of the slow service. They had grab and go, protein shakes and other drinks as well as a whole menu of açai bowls and smoothies. Overall, my experience was pretty good, but I wouldn't say that this was the best coffee I've ever had either . I was frustrated with this situation with the service. It's New Years Day, so I called this place first, to avoid a wasted drive but no one picked up at 6:30pm. Then, I came to this place 20 minutes before 7pm, I checked their Yelp hours. However, upon arriving the ladies stated they closed about an hour ago. That's fine, although I think hours need to be updated. I rushed out while limping on 1 leg to make it before closing as I live a block away. However, I drove there due to limping. The bowls here are tasty and great, the price is the same as Blue Bowl which makes you willing to come back more than once a week. The owner is wonderful as well. He was not here tonight. read more

I know I know there's plenty of açaí bowl locations in this area. But I would still recommend this place. It's very comparable to Blue Bowl. I would get this bowl vs the others in this area. Service was great the young lady taking our order was welcoming. Parking was great but we visited late at night. I'm sure there's limited parking during the day. You can tell she cares deeply--not only about her business but about the people who walk through her doors. As someone who owns a business myself, I know how much work, sacrifice, and faith it takes to build something from the ground up. Because of that, I don't take places like Bondi for granted. I bought a coconut cream topping and it didn't add much. The syrups added to the ice are very sweet. I suppose it is to be expected. It felt less like a rush issue and more like a "no one is driving the bus" issue. As for the food, coffee: not great, tasted watered down. Maybe they used the same grounds twice. . "Ick" is the technical term. Bagel sandwich: actually very good. Everything bagel with egg, cheese, and sausage. Flavorful. Would have been even better if it were warmer than room temperature. At that point, I wasn't even picky. I just wanted to receive the order I paid for sometime before retirement. For comparison, the 602 Coffee House (PCH location) runs much smoother.
