Seems to be a opular Saturday spot. Lots of people hanging out across the PCH from the Huntington Beach Pier. A few chairs and bench seating...all outdoors. Friendly vibe with runners, walkers dog lovers and more. Server greeted me and answered my questions with patience. Since it was my first time, I ordered a small iced latte, which comes with two shots of espresso and whole milk. Solid drink. Not super, but I would come back. It would be nice if there was some shaded seating nearby where you see the beach tho. read more

Tried this place this week and really liked it. Coffee was smooth and strong. Bagel sandwiches are really good and fresh. You can tell it's not frozen which is always a plus! Lol The staff were really kind and welcoming. They noticed we brought our dog and immediately offered a free pup cup or pb spoon! Cute fun beach spot, casual and cool. This place has become my favorite breakfast spot, the thick bagel is so good but you will def have leftovers and their custom coffees/teas/refreshers were also a hit for the group. I've been coming out to Huntington Beach almost every week for the Farmers Market and have been wanting to try this spot, but I always seem to miss their 5 PM closing. Finally made it in! I'm not big on overly sweet coffee, so the Activated Charcoal Latte caught my attention. It was perfect, smooth, flavorful, not sweet at all, with a subtle charcoal finish. Basically a really good latte with a unique twist. My boyfriend likes his coffee on the sweeter side and ordered their signature Iced Coconut Caramel. I stole a few sips and it was actually really good, with a nice coconut flavor. Cute, trendy corner spot with a local HB feel, and parking was easy. Service was decent, nothing exceptional, but perfectly fine. Definitely coming back, especially for that charcoal latte. read more

This is one of my favorite coffee shops! It is such a treat and I come every time I am in the beach area. They have a huge menu filled with fun drinks, classic favorites, and many food options. I've tried a few different coffees here, more recently the cinnamon toast crunch latte. It was so good I practically chugged it! They have a whole entire selection of cereal drinks which I think is super original and they do a great job with each one. I also tried to the fruity pebble matcha, it was good. What I like most about this place is that all of their drinks are well-balanced and never too sweet. Sometimes coffee shops over-do it with the sweetness, especially with their "specialty" drinks. I am always able to appreciate the actual flavor of the coffee and matcha. I look forward to being back and want to try their Acai bowls!! The staff here is also very sweet and friendly. read more

This place is adorable! It is right across from the beach and the pier so plenty to walk around and do and there's also cute tables to sit at and work or have a conversation or a bite to eat. So the last time I visited 602 Coffee House, it wasn't a very pleasant or memorable experience due to the quality of the açaí bowls. However, the owner of the business read about my experience and wanted to make it right. It was very nice to hear from the owner, shows he takes pride of his business and cares about his customers. I decided to give 602 coffee house another try this past Sunday 04.06.25. We went there to grab our favorite bowls, the protein bowls. The bowls were perfect this time around. The açaí base was nice and frozen, the consistency I remembered it to be. The fruits were fresh and the portions were generous. Staff were both very friendly, helpful, and efficient. Ambiance is great, pay for your bowls, they make it, you grab it and enjoy the treat at one of the outside table. read more

Stopped here on our way to our hotel. We got some bagels, the 602 bagel was amazing, and we got an avocado toast with an egg which was delicious, and got some awesome açaí bowls. Loved the workers. They helped us pick our items. Also they have an awesome open air vibe. Their seating is in shared area with other restaurants which is so fun! read more

Usually, the service is very good and the girls are really nice. This wasn't the case today with a girl I hadn't seen before, she is a tall blond. There was one register open and the on person in front of me finished ordering and moved to the side when a couple or employees recognized her and began talking to her, and unfortunately so did the tall blond. I moved up to the register and I am standing there a right in front of her and not even an acknowledgment, she just keeps talking to the influencer. So I just moved to the other empty register and ask a guy to take my order and he did but he still had ring me up on the first register. He was nice, he realized that that is not the way to treat customers. I am local by the way and come for coffee which I like.here. The young woman turned out to be the manager which makes things worse. I spoke to her later and let her know I didn't enjoy this experience of not even being greeted or acknowledged at all. She said she was sorry and didn't want me to feel bad. I also told her about the parking attendant, this was the first time I saw one for this lot, I really don't think one is needed. The guy was dirty, rude, and aggressive and kept spitting on the ground. Told me there was another lot open for $20. I am local, I've never paid for parking in HB, and I am just getting coffee. I told him not to bother me, I couldn't even tell if he worked for the coffee shop as he looked disheveled. He kept following my car and telling me I can't enter the lot. I'd lose him. There is no need, this isn't Newport Beach. So, in conclusion, this was my first negative experience at the 602, the reason I'd come to his place before was great americano and really nice friendly young people that work there. Hopefully this was a one off experience and the next time will be better. Once the summer is over, it is local folks that support local businesses. PS I've just changed my review to 1 because apparently friends of the people that work at the shop started posting reviews on Google mentioning me and making up stuff that didn't happen like one saying I was rude and unreasonable and the other saying I was trying to get someone's number. Needless to say, neither happened. I won't be coming to this place again. read more

My favorite coffee place in Huntington Beach. This is a mandatory stop for me personally when I go to HB to taste their good latte. Everything you order is going to be so good. They added a new Breakfast Club coffee menu which features cereal on the top of good coffee. It's right by the beach so you can order and enjoy it with view of Main Street and Pacific Ocean! Maybe they were having an off day? Perhaps the worst cappuccino I've had in years. It was burnt so maybe just unlucky. The namesake "602" breakfast sandwich leaves a lot to be desired. Best described as soggy and tricky to eat. First they wrap it entirely in aluminum which means you have to peel wrapper just to take a bite. The bagel is smaller than average and nothing of special quality. I enjoy fried egg but somehow this one is overdone. The diced bacon also does absolutely nothing for this sandwich. I assumed when I ordered it the cheese would hold it together. They don't layer the cheese next to the bacon so the bacon crumbles just fall out everywhere. Unfortunate. People must come here for something else because I swung and missed. read more

My friend suggested this coffee shop I have never been here before I really like how cute and open it is. The baristas were super sweet and friendly. It was a bit breezy so decided on a hot coffee instead of cold today! I wish I could remember their names but everyone there was really nice and it did take a bit to get our drinks because it was kind of busy today. I love how cute it is and their beach decor and the outside sitting area so you can look at the beach and all the shops near by. Super cute area and delicious coffee. My husband and I have been going to this place for a very very long time! We come here for acai bowls and sometimes drinks when we are in the area and want a quick eat! You have views of the ocean, of course, so it is the perfect place to enjoy a yummy healthy treat! The service is always nice and quick! This place is almost always packed!! The restaurant is located upstairs at the Pacific City shopping mall on PCH and has an excellent view of the Huntington Beach coastline. There is plenty of parking in the underground garage, and the restaurant will validate parking for two hours. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. There are two dining areas facing the beach, one with an open air covered area, and one completely inside with floor to ceiling windows. We wanted to enjoy the fresh air, and were seated on the open air patio, right against the front overlooking PCH. They also have a bar area inside. The ladies had the mocktail versions of the pineapple guava margarita and Life is Peachy ($9 each) and enjoyed them. I just had an iced tea which was constantly topped off. I had the pan seared halibut ($42) with broccolini and requested asparagus instead of the default second side of potatoes. The halibut was cooked perfectly with almond slices and cubed tomato on top. The lemon caper butter sauce was sooooooo good, and there was a lot of it to dip the fish and veggies in. The veggies were slightly overcooked, but were still very good, especially with the sauce. Both ladies had the grilled salmon ($32). My girlfriend requested a side salad with blue cheese and the pineapple risotto instead of the default brussel sprouts. Both entrees were enjoyed. We appreciated the manager bringing the birthday girl a complementary Brookie (baked brownie & cookie mix, vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce) which we all shared. Our server Zane was attentive and friendly. The food and drinks were very good, and the prices were reasonable given the view and location. We would definitely return.

I had not been back to this place in 30 years and the food is still sucks after all these years and a breakfast burrito should not cost close to $20. !!!!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting 602 Coffee House and was blown away by the quality of their coffee and acai bowls. The coffee was rich and full-bodied, with just the right level of acidity and sweetness. And the acai bowls were absolutely delicious - perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. In addition to the fantastic coffee and acai bowls, the staff at 602 Coffee House were also top-notch. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our drinks and food. The atmosphere of the coffee house was also really inviting. The location is right on PCH with direct views of the famous Huntington Beach Pier. My wife and I absolutely love the ambiance and felt the good energy of all the happy customers enjoying their food and drinks. Definitely one of the best spots for breakfast in Huntington Beach! Overall, my experience at 602 Coffee House was excellent and I would not hesitate to give it a five-star review. I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing coffee and acai bowls. This is me and my boyfriend's go-to coffee spot! We're self-proclaimed coffee experts, and this place totally exceeded our expectations. Their banana cold brew and matcha are incredible, seriously some of the best we've had. Super smooth, flavorful, and just hits the spot every time. We also tried the açaí bowl, which was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Still, not a dealbreaker. Parking can be a little tight, but it's right by the beach, so the view while sipping your coffee totally makes up for it. Best coffee in HB! And right on the beach! Walking distance from the pier and such a cute little vibe inside. Parking is easy and the Nutella latte with soy is my go-to favorite. They always have fresh donuts and pastries in the morning and the wait time for ordering is never too long. We enjoy an açaí bowl every once in awhile but the real show stopper is their coffee! Service was really nice for being busy. Our esspresso was great. The nutella mocha tasted like slightly chocolatey milk no coffee flavor. We got a fruit bowl hoping to feed our one year old some fruit but it was a big bowl of acai sorbet with some fruit on top.. It didnt say sorbet on the menu. I like this place for the banana flavored coffee. it was the first thing I tried there and have been back for it a hundred times. Its great as a cold brew. It felt less like a rush issue and more like a "no one is driving the bus" issue. As for the food, coffee: not great, tasted watered down. Maybe they used the same grounds twice. . "Ick" is the technical term. Bagel sandwich: actually very good. Everything bagel with egg, cheese, and sausage. Flavorful. Would have been even better if it were warmer than room temperature. At that point, I wasn't even picky. I just wanted to receive the order I paid for sometime before retirement. For comparison, the 602 Coffee House (PCH location) runs much smoother.
