They were both delicious -- from the ingredients in each to the sauces they used -- and you can even modify it if you want to take certain things out. Also, the packaging of it is so cute. We tried the Maui and Aloha sushiritos, and both were filling and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Everything tasted clean and well balanced. The packaging also deserves a shoutout--the sushiritos come in sturdy boxes that keep everything intact, making them perfect for takeout. Why are sushi burritos so hard to find when we're literally by the water? I don't know either but hey, Rollrritto is certainly filling in that void that we didn't know we had. Thankfully parking is hardly an issue which is surprising considering it shares the lot with Dollar Tree. ‍‍ Service is direct to say the least but they offer their recommendations based on popular demand. Especially since the spicy scales are displayed on the menu, they always tell us "never fear the fire". Thus meaning, spicy won't always mean crying out your tears and sinus spicy. Depending on how you see it, poke is always on the pricey side. Now is it worth it? I'd say so since this poke is received creatively and deliciously as possible but compared to most places, you can definitely venture out to explore more of poke has to offer. Rollrritto, where have you been all of my life? I was getting a massage across the street and found this place totally by accident. It is a fabulous idea that tastes even better than it looks. A large piece of seaweed is layered with a thin layer of rice, your choice of fish, veggies and amazing sauces, and the they roll it into a tightly compact roll the size of a burrito. It's packaged in this super fun cardboard roll and it's cut in half already if you just want to eat part of it. It's pretty ingenious. Now I MUST return to try the other flavors. Absolutely the best place for poke in the Orange County. The choices and toppings are better than any other poke place I've been to so far. Been coming here for years and the manager Francisco is the greatest. The service from him and his staff is the best. Build your own poke and get all the toppings you want. Stopped in for poke. Ordered inside and ate at a table outside. They were running a special that provided a free house drink with the meal. I chose their iced coffee and it was a nice treat. The staff was helpful and patient. My order was a Kauai Rollritto. It was delicious! It was stuffed with ahi tuna, spicy tuna, very fresh veggies and a delicious "baja" sauce. Quite tastey! Other people I was with ordered a Maui Rollritto, which substituted Albacore for the Ahi, but added crushed red hot cheetos. That was a bit too novelty for me, but they definitely enjoyed it. It's good I didn't notice anything that stood out from the rest but I do know I would have no issue coming back. Everything tasted good and fresh. I went today to get two poke bowls for my husband and I right when they opened. The male employee was friendly but the female employee has a very bad attitude. Every time I've encountered her she is not friendly. I got home and our shrimp was chewy and had the black poop still in it. The tuna and shrimp for my bowl tasted not fresh that I couldn't finish my bowl. A few hours later my husband and I both are feeling unwell from the food. Also inside were red cabbage, avocado, lettuce, and carrots to name a few. All these items were wrapped up in a rice covered sheet of nori (seaweed). Skeptical at first but this definitely a must try! I work near this restaurant and would have lunch in all the surrounding restaurants but this one. Finally got the courage to try something new and I've been hooked ever since! I think I've tried all of their meal options, safe to say I now have a Rollrritto budget! If you love poke this is certainly something you should try. I always get an extra order because if my husband finds out I came here and didn't get him anything he would flip LOL! The staff is always kind and helpful. Since I've tried it all, I often ask them to make me something they would order just to try different combinations. I call it the "employee special." Parking is free but occasionally scarce. The ambiance is relaxed, no theme, I don't recall music in the background, beautiful lite from the natural light coming in from the windows. I don't recall a public restroom (never had to use so I never asked) not a lot of seating. I'm usually in and out, rarely sit down to eat. Looking forward to another visit! read more
