Hands down the best place in the Valley to get a pedicure. They take their time , they use salt scrub, hot rocks and pay extra attention to areas that need special attention. Thirty minutes before closing, I was lucky enough to stumble upon this gem. Michelle gave me an amazing pedicure. She was super attentive to my cuticles, used a yummy scrub, gave a relaxing massage and used hot stones during the polish which came out perfect. I felt like royalty by the time I left. I got a gel manicure with an extremely simple design, which they had done to someone else at the same salon and I had a picture of. The design (which was a line of dots) was lopsided and not cleanly done. The manicure itself was well done, but it's not the best place to come to for any sort of design. read more

I was here once before during their opening weekend. EVeryone was very nice and the service was excellent (I got a pedi only). I decided to go back today (months later) because I wanted pink and white nails. I called to see if Amber was available, and she told me to come on by. When I got there, Amber asked if someone else could do my nails instead of her, even though I specifically had asked for her (complaint #1). She promised that she only hires people as good as she is. I said ok, and a gentleman proceeded to do my nails. They came out pretty, BUT, waaay too thick and messy looking from the underside (complaint #2). Lastly, when it was time for polish, the manicurist brought out the UV machine and gel polish. I asked if this was included in the $40 price for pink and whites, and he said no, it's extra $5. I said just give me regular polish (complaint #3). I was very annoyed that he was about to give me gel without having asked! Amber knew she didn't have time for me, yet told me to come by so she could get me in her shop and convince me to let someone else do my nails. I also really didn't appreciate the gel incident. For the 3 reasons above, I won't be returning. Also, I can get pink and white's and a pedicure for a lot less money elsewhere. read more

very friendly staff. Not a long wait for me not having an appointment on a Sunday afternoon. The massage chairs are not the typical chairs you find at nail places. The foot bath part detaches- and once they're done soaking your feet, they recline the chair back and you get the rest of your mani-pedi in a lazy boy. That was heaven. They do accept credit cards but you can't tip on the card for some reason. I didn't have any cash- and they were totally nice about me not being able to tip them (to my face at least!). I'll be back for sure and I'll tip them double. You can't beat $30 bucks for a quality mani/pedi in a nice chair. I'm very happy to have found this place. read more

This place is amazing! I called to ask how much was a gel mani ($30) I've never had a gel mani like this! They put cute little sleeves to protect your hands from the UV lamp. I decided to get a pedicure too! ($20) and again I've never had a pedicure like this. The massage given to me was a good length and they put my feet in hot stones while my polish was being applied. It was very telling when I saw a large number of return customers at the salon while I was receiving my service, and Sarah new every single one of them and addressed them by first name. The person who did my nails did a very lousy job as far as cutting and filing and giving my nails a good shape plus the quality of their polish is very bad. They started chipping after a couple of days and they don't have the thickness that they suppose to have. Overall I wasn't happy. read more

Sarah gave me a relaxing pedicure and beautiful Hawaiian flowers for my trip to Hawaii! The foot scrub and lotion smells really good and the pedicure ends with warms wash cloths wrapped around your feet with hot stones on the soles! All the staff was very nice and it wasn't too crowded. I went into this salon today hoping for the best. I have a feeling that most nail shop yelp reviews are written by the merchant or a friend of the merchant. I went in for a straight pedicure, nothing fancy. I was butchered by a male ( don't know name) nail technician who cut me badly ( was bleeding non stop). You get more than your money's worth here. The place is REALLY clean, the people working there are really nice, and they don't rush you at all. They have a extensive collection of polish colors both regular and gel. The chairs are more comfortable than any I've ever sat in. This place appears to handle appointments and walk-in's quite well. My husband and I stopped in for a pedicure before a vacation, and didn't have to wait that long. We were acknowledged right away and felt comfortable waiting in the entry. The tubs are lined with plastic, so no jets used- but cleanliness guaranteed. I love that the tools come out sterile, and the use of hot towels and stones at the end were a comforting touch. The price is comparable to other places I have gone. Most of the technicians do not speak much english, but that was fine by me, sometimes I like to read, zone out and enjoy the massage chair. Great service, will be back again. read more

Great place! They are super nice, have lots of colors and do a great job. I especially love the pedicure by Tommy. He doesn't stop after two seconds of massaging. I've been to this place a few times but after yesterday I will be finding a new salon to go to. I walked in while they were busy and waited about 20 minutes which was fine with me. Once they started I wanted to walk out. The woman doing my nails told me that my nails beds are too short and the eye brows needed work. Then she states oh I remember you, you had me do that nail design last time that took long. Oh I'm sorry for actually making you do your job instead of taking a break every 2 minutes to have a conversation with everyone in the shop. Their art work is ok, nothing special. I have been going to Anne for over 6 months for acrylic fills. I happened upon Amber T Nails by chance, after going to several other nail salons on the blvd. I am particular and I have to say, I have never had anyone do as good a job as Anne does. She is very detail oriented and takes her time with my nails. She consistently does a good job. She is friendly and accommodating of my schedule. As for my pedicures, I use anyone who is available and have never been disappointed. It's a great place and I highly recommend Anne and the entire staff at Amber T Nails. Definitely try this shop if you want great value, a fabulous mani/pedi and an overall good experience. Pretty awful experience. Greeted with indifference . . . first thing said, "pick a color, pick a color." I said OK - but that I wanted a gel - not just regular polish. Shook head no and kept repeating "pick a color." (I know I should have left then, but I had a short time window and requests for gel were being ignored .. . ) Manicurist spoke no English at all . . . not a big problem . . . no eye contact either . . . well OK cultures are different . . . but kept having little outbursts of chatter with her comrades with lots of chuckling and eye rolling . . . made me feel very uncomfortable. When she could not remove previous gel easily - just roughly attacked with coarse file. At this point I was just dissociating and hoping to get it over with, Hacked away at my cuticles leaving hang nails. Polish OK - but not the gel I wanted - even when I asked again - she just stared quizically like I was speaking a foreign language . . . oh yeah . . . for her I guess I was . . . I am honestly very picky and meticulous about my nails, so much so that I usually prefer to do it myself for hygienic and let's face it neurotic purposes...I am a perfectionist and cannot stand to have even one nail uneven. But I decided to treat myself to a mani/pedi and went to Amber's after reading these reviews. I couldn't stop being impressed from the moment I walked in. Amber is so friendly, as are all the staff...Amber did my manicure and not only was she quick but I've never been so happy with a manicure. Tina did my pedicure and was great! I'm not sure if it means as much to anyone else, but the atmosphere in this place is AWESOME, everyone is so friendly. Place is clean and the chairs are better than some of the higher end nail spas I've been to. I stumbled across this yelp page about a year ago when I was looking to book a last minute appointment with my younger sister. After reading the great reviews and receiving a warm confirmation from Sarah at Amber T, I was happy they were able to fit us in. Not only were they incredibly kind and patient with my sister, but I realized it was the first time I had been able to relax in months. Typically when I have my nails done at other salons I'm constantly needing to correct or point out minor shaping mistakes and polish problems. I think people are in such a rush to finish quickly and open the chair for the next customer, but with Amber T I have found a place that I can lay back, close my eyes, and wake up to clean beautiful nails every time. The gel is amazing, they take it off properly and I have not seen any damage to my nails. I always book Anne for my manicures and she has a great eye with nail art. She's a perfectionist and really wouldn't let you walk out if your nails didn't look their best. I've had an incredible experience coming to Amber T every other week this past year. read more
