I had a nice pedicure today by Sandy. Basic foot bucket pedicure for only $15! Yes please....good no frills pedicure at a fair price. She even shaved off the extra skin at the sides of my toes and heels. No foot or leg massage included, but she does lotion your feet and legs rather nicely and your toes look amazing and are refreshed in the end! The service took about 40 minutes or less. read more

This place is amazing. I'm in from out of town and my stylist in LA got covid. I have a pixie so I was super stressed. I had my hair done by Lily, who is a true expert. We talked through everything and she was incredibly knowledgable. The pedicure I got was bomb. The tech did a thorough job and I'm very happy with how clean everything was. Sandy did my nails. I have paper thin nails due to gel extensions and PVCs. She recommended I get a little acrylic just to give them a little length but also so the gels last longer. They look amazing and this is the first time I liked the way a tech did my nails on the shorter side. I usually have stilettos or ballerina extensions. Overall I give this place a 10/10. It's a very basic place. I went in for a pedicure and the gal who was to work on me had me sit down; she didn't actually say anything to me except for when she asked me what colour I wanted. Now I cannot really blame her too much for this because I didn't say much except for hello. The owner, on the other hand, was very friendly even though she wasn't the one doing my feet. The price is low, but as with most other things, you get what you pay for. I couldn't have been in there for more than 10 min and she was done w me. I wish I had timed it. I can still see all the dead skin on my heels(pic), she hardly worked on my toes at all and only did one coat of varnish. Even the varnish was crappy on my big toe (pic attached). I might as well have not gone at all!! I'm getting annoyed She then told me it was $13 (a bargain typically) so I gave her a $20 and she came back w two $1s and a $5 bill. Clearly, she expected the $5, but only deserved $1 for the crappy job she did (because touching peoples' feet isn't fun) and the so-called 'service.' When I asked to get change for the $5 bill for $1s to give more than the two $1s she gave me, she seemed offended. No offense, tips ARE NOT mandatory and are typically based on service and job done, even though I always feel guilty and tip 20%+. I don't expect perfection by any means for $13, but I still expected my heels to be dead-skin free and a better varnish job than I can do myself. So, let me just say. Price is decent . $20 for mani and pedi. I was on a budget looking for something decent. And i guess i got what i wanted ? :) Wasn't disappointed with the job , but more the service itself. Don't get me wrong . People were nice . I love Sandy!! Usually when I go to my other nail salon, there is no conversation. I believe that getting to know your salonist is very important because it's just not to get my nice nails and leave. Being able to get to know her and interact with her is amazing. I got French tip, before put gel in the tip she had asked me if I like it. A friend of mine introduced me to the salon. Yes it is a smaller salon but they get the job done. What I like is that they know how to do gel much better than other places I've been to. I feel that the gel they use holds much longer and looks shiny too. The nail salon shares their space with a hairstylist. I went not to do my nails but my hair a lady whose name begins with L. I went to her one time and she did a really nice job and when I went to pay she had her own credit card thing a little device that links to her phone. I was familiar with people doing that. But when they do it you have to sign and she put the amount in and I added the tip to the amount and then I signed it then she texted me the receipt that was fine. I went back to her again and I guess she was having a bad day if she smiled and spoke a word to me her face would crack. I was kind of put off by that but I just thought I'll just get my hair done. When I left and was done again I gave her my credit card she used it the same way and asked me if I wanted to put the tip on it. I don't like people who automatically assume that they should have a tip, she made my hair too dark and blow dry this time was horrible. I don't think you should have to tip when you get sub par service tips are optional they are not required. I told her no I don't want it on the card I'll give you cash. She told me the total was $50 I am not deaf I heard what she said. I said put 50 on the card and I'll give you cash tip. I got a phone call and got distracted and left and didn't leave a tip. Also the next day I thought she never had me sign because if I had signed I would've seen the amount on there I would have not okayed it. On my way home the receipt was texted to me and the receipt indicate it's $62. I went right back there and said what right did you have to put $62 on my card. She proceeded to tell me $2 for using the credit card, nobody charges you two dollars to use the credit card. So that would've taken it down to 60. Then she started to say that I didn't tell you 50 because the color is 30 and the blow dry 25 so that would've been 55. And then I started to tell her OK this is 55 not 60 where did you get $60. Then she started to say and change the amounts and at that point I just said you are a liar you keep changing your story and cover it by changing the amount, you fraudulently took my credit card and put the amount you wanted to and give yourself a $12 tip. I went home and I reported this to my credit card company. The representative at the credit card company told me that this was fraud you can't take someone's card and put in any amount that you feel like and then put it through and I also told the credit card company that this time she didn't have me sign anything and that was her responsibility to do that that comes up on her phone she's looking at her phone not me. I never authorized $62 on my credit card. read more

I got my mani/pedi with sandy and her co worker for the first time and let me tell you HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Sandy did my mani and it looked like a kid painted my nails and her co worker did my pedi and CUT MY TOES MULTIPLE TIMES! I demanded my money back and sandy REFUSED to refund me. I was gushing out blood and they were touching me with bare hands NO GLOVES and her tools were UNSANITARY(previously used from her client she was attending) !! I asked her to stop and I kept pulling my feet away but she held them down and poured so much alcohol I started to cry bc of the pain! I paid 35$ and only gave me 10$ back she didn't apologize or made sure I was okay she continued to work and didn't even look me in the eye or offer me help. Later on that day I went to URGENT CARE and BOTH MY TOES ARE REALLY INFECTED, SWOLLEN, NUMB , CURRENTLY BLEEDING and I have to MISS 3 DAYS OF WORK and I'm on antibiotics for 10 DAYS! Wow. Just wow.. my name is Hanna. I've been coming here since I was a 12.. I'm now 26. Sandy knows my whole family, so I'm really bothered writing this negative review. Made an appointment at 11:30am. Sandy answered but I know she doesn't know me by name, but by face only. I asked for a pedicure at 1pm she said "yes sure!" But didn't take my name down? Thought that was weird. As I walk in , no one says hi. Sandy does not acknowledge me. I started to get confused because the clock is ticking and there are people in the chair who have not had service yet. I'm very upset by this point. I didn't feel welcomed or valued as a customer. I kindly got up and said "Sandy, I'm just going to go somewhere else that has time because I made by appointment at for 1pm and it's very late" She looked at me like I had two heads. Firstly, don't bother making an appointment because it won't matter. They take people as they come in regardless of whether or not they have an appointment. Secondly, the owner Sandy is rude and the term "customer service" is nowhere in her vocabulary. Even if she and her business is in the wrong she becomes defensive and yells at her customers. I really liked this place. It's straight forward and everyone is super friendly. I just got my usual clean gel mani and regular pedi that I would get anywhere else. The lady did a great job and didn't get upset when I asked her to fix little things and the price was crazy inexpensive, $30.00 total! Why 4 stars? Well they have a very limited selection for gel polish colors and they could be cleaner. Shop is old and needs to be re decorated and cleaned up, I didn't see a sanitation station or anything similar soooo yeah. I noticed another client brought her own tools and for the price I will probably do the same.
