Reb did a full cut-in HVAC installation about 5 years ago and the system has been working fantastically ever since. Not only did he provide a great quote, but he and his team were consummate professionals, courteous, and ridiculously fast without making us feel rushed. Impressed. I asked Ambient to come over regarding my HVAC not cooling. They answered the call and set an appointment date pretty quick. This was not a remote call center company. A day later Ambient arrived as arranged and got to work. There was no upsell at all. Diagnosis was done, and it short order they repaired the faulty wiring on the unit outside. It was a very good experience, and I appreciate working with a company that values maintaining my system appropriately, and taking good care of their customer. Reb and his partner Lee both came out to install my new furnace as a subcontractor from my Sears furnace purchase. Reb made sure to stay in touch and give me an arrival time. He called morning of to confirm and arrived very close to his arrival time. They surveyed the situation and got right to work. They did a great job and were friendly during the whole process. They got it installed and did a great job sealing it with tape, etc. looks beautiful. They then tested it out and made sure everything was working and communicating, including my AC unit in the back. Reb then showed it to me, explained everything, and gave me the instructions manual. He also let me know what to do if I ever purchase a 2-stage thermostat. I called Ambient Heating & Air on a Monday morning for an estimate on AC installation and the Mr Bustani was at my home that evening. The bid was so good that I now have a new heater and AC for close to the the price of what others had given me for the AC alone. By close of day on Friday of the same week everything was totally installed and up and running. The installers worked a little over 10 hours to make sure everything was ready in one day and that I was satisfied with the work. Due to the location of the AC placement a crane had to be used; it was on time at the correct location and took all of 15 minutes to lift and drop. The installers left everything SPOTLESS and I am more than over joyed with my new heater and AC. I cannot recall the last time I had such OUTSTANDING service and because of this I give Ambient Heating & Air Conditioning a 5 star rating. I had recently had Reb come out to my house to fix someone a poor job on a HVAC job done at my house. Not only was Reb very respectful but he was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed working with this company and its owner, Reb Bustani. This summer, Reb evaluated my current HVAC system, which is old, has an undersized AC, has undersized ducts (originally designed for heat, not cool air), and is poorly located (creating very long runs between the components). However, rather than push me to install a whole new system (which I definitely need at some point), he suggested a much cheaper alternative to get me through the summer -- a whole house fan. Reb walked me through the various options and guided me to do some online research. After a few weeks, I was ready to move forward with the whole house fan. However, in less than a week I would leaving town for several weeks. Thus, Reb graciously scheduled me for that week, helped me secure the best price on the unit, and then worked diligently (and even on a Sunday) so that the project could be completed before my trip. The whole house fan (a Quiet Cool Stealth Pro 3.3) has been a great solution -- not only as a cheaper (and at times more effective) alternative to running our AC but also as a very efficient method of quickly cycling the air in the house (which helps with allergies, etc.). Once I'm ready to replace my existing system, I will be calling this company. read more

I called Ambient Heating and Air Conditioning late on a Friday evening, thinking that I was not going to get an answer. A very friendly technician answered and I told him the issues I was having with my air conditioner. I was having a party the following day and a heat wave was well on its way. I was worried when he said he could swing by and take a look at it because of the last minute appointment and the time of day, I was sure it would cost a lot. He was very nice and assured me that I should not worry about that, that there was a free estimate. I could not believe that I could get some one to my house on such late notice, and that I would receive a free estimate. When he did come, he found out that the breaker was tripped. He was nice enough to reset the breaker, at no cost!! After that everything was working well and I had no problems. This company is not only honest, but caring. It is not common to find people who will go out of their way to help others, especially at no cost.
