My partner and I came for an amazing dinner! He came the day before and told me that he found a new Brazilian spot that has my favorite "Coxinha" we had Salgados, Beef Stroganoff, Lychee Mate, and he had a glass of prosecco. I really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. I had the chance to meet the two owners they are so nice. I am looking forward to going back soon, I'll try something new.

The best addition to EaHo! This spot checks all the boxes. The place is gorgeous and welcoming. Hospitality is top-notch. And the food exceeded expectations. Can't go wrong with the empanadas or salgados. Please try the Ambue salad and pulpo with maracuya! They only recently opened but I'll definitely be a regular here.

    Iced Mate' drink...refreshing!

The closest I can compare my dining experience with this restaurant is when you stumble upon an up and coming band that is are doing small venues but you recognize that they have the potential to be the next big thing. My wife and I, met with a couple of friends for dinner. I suggested Ambue because I had driven by the restaurant and liked the interior and the Argentine/Brazilian concept seemed interesting. My expectations were exceeded in every way possible! First off, the interior design was sleek without being pretentious. The lighting was not super dark, I hate it when you have to resort to using your cellphone flashlight to read the menu. Something that never "makes or breaks" a dinner is the music but this place even took that to another level. The playlist was a pleasant surprise. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He explained the concept of the restaurant and made great recommendations. The food was phenomenal. We had the the Parrillada which had a little bit of everything that makes South American grilling cuisine famous. There was picanha, entraña, chicken and Argentine and Brazilian sausage. It also come accompanied with rice, beans and garlic steak fries. We also ordered the pulpo, a must! It was perfectly grilled and came with a passion fruit reduction sauce. We ordered a couple of the empanadas which did not disappoint. We were also treated to an iced mate' drink that was infused with a fruit that was native to the Amazon, it was very very refreshing and similar to soursop. We all had separate desserts and none of them disappointed. They were all delicious. With all this being said, what really set the dining experience apart was the welcoming atmosphere that was demonstrated. The owners, Jose and Renato, were both present and welcomed all the patrons. They really went out of their way to make our dinner date an experience. I have no doubt that this restaurant will be another great "go-to" dinner h

Decided to try this new Brazilian and Argentinian restaurant. First of all, the place is super cute! The decor of the place is really stylish and the chairs are super comfortable. The food was 10/10 I got the Ambue salad with chicken, the chicken was juicy and tender. My partner got the Brazilian chicken plate with beans and rice which was so delicious. The prices were down to earth which makes me wants to return again. Service was also really attentive and hospitable.

    Parrillada

Live in the neighborhood and was excited to see a new Brazilian and Argentinian restaurant open up. We went with some friends for dinner and were blown away -- the food was incredible and the ambience was perfect. We ordered the beef and ham & cheese empanadas and they were so crispy and delicious. The beef empanadas might be the best I've ever had! We also ordered the Pão de quejio, which is a must order, and then split the parrillada. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chicken was marinated and very flavorful. The sausage was a surprise standout for me! We then split the flan (incredible) and the owners brought us a passion fruit sort of custard dessert as well which was fantastic. The owners both came and talked to us and shared their journey opening the restaurant. They're so kind and warm, and Ambue is an amazing addition to the neighborhood. Highly recommend!

This place honestly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked into Ambue Restaurant, the service stood out right away--super welcoming, professional, and genuinely friendly. You can tell they really care about their customers and the overall experience, not just the food. We ordered the grilled salmon with rice, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables, and everything was cooked perfectly. The salmon was juicy, tender, and full of flavor with a beautiful char on the outside. The sauce complemented it perfectly without overpowering the natural taste of the fish. The rice was fluffy, the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy, and the grilled vegetables added that perfect balance with a slightly smoky flavor. One of the highlights was definitely the wine pairing. It was spot on and elevated the entire meal to another level. It's not just about eating here--it's a full dining experience. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and very comfortable. Whether you're coming for a casual dinner, a date night, or even just to relax with a glass of wine, this place fits perfectly. The attention to detail--from presentation to service--really makes a difference. What I also appreciated is consistency in quality. Everything felt fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully put together. You don't find that everywhere. If you're in Los Angeles and looking for a place that delivers great food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe, Ambue Restaurant is definitely a must-visit. This is the kind of place you come back to again and again.

Couldn't be happier with this dining experience. Our server, Fernando, was incredibly kind and generous. Some of the best service we've had. The owner, Jose, was also incredibly kind and passionate about what he does. You can tell there's a lot of love in this business. The food speaks for itself, their craft is perfected. The location is clean and classy, with tasteful decor. They plan on hosting dance classes and events here in the future, something to be excited for. Truly a gem, and so excited for their growth!

She said well you can leave and not come back! Wow. I wasn't even being rude just honest. She offered me to buy a Mexican soda for $4.00 which is usually $1.50 max anywhere else. And wow. Such disrespect! I asked about their children and was treated like dirt from this owner. Terrible. I'll never refer anyone again and this is no way to treat someone who simply disagreed with you and was put in a situation because I wasn't told there was a $10 min with a card. And I didn't have cash. Outrageous disrespect!!!! SMH Bye Felisha. I've told many people about this place and I will be sure to tell people how I was treated. Disgraceful. And, how do you serve food and drinks and don't offer a restroom. They used to have one we could use. So I had to go next door and ask the restaurant if I could use theirs. Thankfully they let me. Over all soooo terribly disappointing. Wow!

There were a lot of people inside, but still a few open tables, so no wait. That was my first sign this place was going to be good. It had that perfect buzz where people are clearly enjoying their food, the energy is up, and the whole space just feels alive. The music was amazing too, super groovy and instantly put me in a good mood. When the woman working thcame over, I told her I'd never had Peruvian food before and mentioned that I like vegetables and shrimp. She immediately said, "I know exactly what to get you," which I loved. I trusted her completely and I'm so glad I did. She brought out the dish (photo attached), and WOW. The flavor was so rich and delicious. I literally inhaled it. It had this perfect mix of comfort and bold flavor with shrimp, rice, vegetables, and even fries worked in there in a way that just made sense. I also ordered a small side salad, which ended up being the perfect balance. It added that fresh, light contrast to the warm, homey main dish. The vibes were great, the service felt personal, and the food completely exceeded my expectations. Definitely coming back and I can't wait to try more dishes.

However, I was a bit disappointed with the steak which was tough and didn't really give that "fried" feel. - Jalea de Pescado con Mariscos: Favorite dish of the night. I liked the variety of all the fried seafood and yucca. The fried shrimp was good and it was even enjoyable to eat the tail. I especially loved the fish which was flavorful and maintained its moistness despite being fried. Topped with fresh onions and crunchy bits, it was a great combo. The staff here were also really nice! There's limited parking in the plaza, but there's some neighborhood street parking nearby.
