Solid little sandwich here. Fresh taste and all. Usually not a fan of cheese but this place did not overwhelm with it. Meat was excellent. Tender. Good taste. Bread was fresh. My favorite was the little cup of black beans. One of the best I've had. Service was good. Ordered online though. Nice clean shop. Space to sit in and out

Work catered lunch for us again and this time it was from Made in Havana. My coworker and I chose the Mojo Chicken Bowl. It comes with chicken, plantains + rice and black beans. It was delicious and very filling.

This spot was super tasty! The sandwich alone deserves 5 stars. It was truly delish!! However I did dock a star due to price point. I got a sandwich and chips, and my total with tip was over $26 *YAYs* Cuban Philly: YAY!! I don't eat pork, so I went with the brisket Cuban, and it did NOT disappoint. The brisket was tender as hell, and it was perfectly complimented with the cheese and sweet sautéed onions. The bread was also beautiful and pristinely toasted. It came with a small side of beans to dip in and it was soooo good *NAYs* Plantain chips: Nay. Def didn't need. If you're looking for a nice salty chip to balance the richness of the Cuban, it ain't these. But I did love their authenticity and packaging. !!!Things to note!!!! - CHECKIN on Yelp for 20% off your order! I dumbly missed this, and the price was a bit steep - There is no indoor seating - patio space is limited and along the sidewalk - food took a little longer to come out, but was worth it. It seems like they crank out a lot of take out orders. - next time I'm skipping the chips and going straight to the baked goods! They look yummmmm

Sooo good! The Oh So Sweet Cubano w a side of black beans and Iced Cafe con Leche was fantastic!!! Natalie is so kind and loving. Check this place out!!

Solid Cuban. Tried their ropa vieja bowl. Try it if you want a quick lunch. Got it with one of their sauces

The Cubano was lovely! I stopped here after a work meeting for a late lunch and it did not disappoint. Would def' eat here again.

The classic Cuban sandwich I ordered along with Materva mate-based soft drink. Yum.

Extraordinary authentic Cuban sandwiches here on again-hip Melrose Ave ... but the real Cubanos in guayabera shirts who love the place order the terrific bowls with mojo chicken, rice, savory black beans and sweet plantains. Owner born in Havana and son of a fabled Cuban baseball hero. Around the corner and down a block from the long lines at Pink's and just up Melrose from the celebrated Groundlings school of comedy that has graduated any number of America's top standup comics. Good place to celebrity watch (new picture of visiting actor Andy Garcia -- also born in Havana as Andrés Arturo García Menéndez !! -- and his daughter, just up on the restaurant wall). Bueno acere, vámonos!

Great wife and husband owned shop! Support small biz! Sauces were bomb. Great location, not many Cuban spots in LA.

I particularly love the chicken rosa pasta and the pomodori sandwich (my favorite combo they do here!), and I got that one again this time. They have a ton of indoor seating at this location, and it never felt cramped or difficult to find good seating. A couple things to note - first, they don't have parking here, so you'd be parking at a nearby meter or at one of the two area garages (Bev Connection or Bev Center). That can get expensive quickly, particularly given that it seems like they don't validate, from previous reviews I'm seeing. That means you'd have to go to another business, spend extra, and then you'd have the parking validated, which can be a bit of a headache (I found street parking instead). The other thing to note is that the food came out slower at this location than at my two regular locations, and with the parking considerations I mentioned, that could cause you issues. For my wife and I, it probably took about 25 minutes for the food to come out. I'd probably recommend building that into your planning. Otherwise, this is honestly among my favorite locations, and pairs well with a day out shopping and people-watching at the mall, so I'd come back next time I'm over here!

Having had these back east, it had become one of my favorite quick places to go. Now, since so many locations have closed, it's becoming a little more difficult to find one. Grateful this one was still around- Parking can be difficult depending on what time of day you go; there are spots out front but it's shared with other businesses, & it's one-way so if you see one, grab it. There was only one person in front of me so there was barely any wait. I get my default (taquitos) and I had a discount code to use. Guy asked for my # & I never had to give that before so I let him know. Hr said it could only be used w/ the # so I winged it and thankfully was correct. A brief while later, I was on my way. Food here has changed; I used to love their Baja chicken tacos but something has definitely been modified and not for the better. Taquitis however have been my go-to, so I'm glad there's something here I still enjoy. The cheese that used to be served with it is no longer an option (although I'm sure you could pay for it) but I make do with the sour cream/guacamole on the side. Chip potion has shrunk but I probably should cut back anyway. All in all, happy they survived this far-
