Fun area of town. Cute location. FREE garage parking. Larger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Comfy ass seats - with seat warmers!! Friendly staff + delicious snacks! AMC's are always a hit with me, and I'll def add this location to the roundup of one's I like!

The AMC at 9+CO has greatly improved! The movie theatre was clean and the service was quick at the concession stands. I've always been a fan of the movie theatre itself as it has a bar and is located in a great location. However, when we used to go, we ran into several issues like the theatre not starting the movie on time or us having to go inquire about when they'd turn on the actually movie. Seems like they have gotten it together. Enjoyable time.

Yes, seeing movies in the theaters is so pricey today. But if you can splurge, do it here! They have a bar, grownups! Yes! Add to that the convenient pre- assigned seating, making it stress free, and speaking of seats, they are like your favorite easy chair at home. Recline and relax while you snack, drink, and watch. The workers behind the snack counter are polite and friendly. They have fun movie-inspired specialty cocktails so I gave one a whirl. It was an espresso martini. Although it was too sweet for me and reminded me of a sugar forward cold brew, I appreciated the attempt and it got me more in the vibe to see a fun film. There is a large free parking garage across the street but you should still plan accordingly and get there early. There are also plenty of restaurants with different food options, so make it a date! My only gripe is the ladies restroom. They could have built more stalls. The line after the movie ended was a mile long. Still, do yourself a favor and go to the movies, will ya? This modern hip theater will make you happy.

Probably my favorite amc in Denver. It's modern, upscale and clean. The location is also pretty central. They offer booze for purchase and have more fixing than the standard amc. Overall it does the trick for a Saturday night date.

Spacious!! Plenty of parking. There's a large garage adjacent that's free. Nice, clean theater with wonderful seating. Adjustable and heated if you need. Great for comfort!

Went to see the Taylor Swift concert here and will definitely be back to see a movie. They have a full service bar and the seats are amazing in the theater. The seats recline and they will be great in the winter time since they do heat up. I can't say much about the food since I didn't have anything but a soda. Will definitely be back.

Best AMC Theatre in Denver. The entrance, escalator to 2nd floor for concessions and access to theaters were very clean and well lit. The 2nd floor has floor to ceiling windows which flood light into the space. Large concessions area + Coca Cola station and a full bar with easy chairs and bar seating. The carpet looked new and each theater had faux leather reclining seats. The seats can be heated or cooled. The sound system was excellent especially for an action flick, like Fall Guy. I visited the restrooms and they were clean and brightly lit. No paper towels, but the Dyson airblades were great. My hands got dry in the indicated 12 seconds. There is a free 5 level parking garage nearby.

    Beer and popcorn. Let's go!!!

Quite possibly the worst movie theater I've ever been to. Customer service was nonexistent.

Watching the presentations about the solar system makes you feel like you're right there, riding alongside the planets and floating through space. Walking through the museum, interacting with the exhibits, and learning from the stewards made the visit even more enjoyable. It was also awesome to see school groups and summer camps exploring the museum. I love that the kids have a designated place to sit and eat their lunches instead of having to use the café. There is so much to see and learn that you can easily spend hours here. It's a great way to spend the day, whether you're visiting with family, friends, or on your own. Happy Yelping!

Educational and interactive!…read more There's a large parking lot and an underground parking garage so plenty of spaces. You do need to purchase a ticket to enter so I suggest doing that ahead of time. It also gives you a timeframe to enter just so it spaces out the crowds. Did you know that there's a scavenger hunt for gnomes, I think they look more like elves though lol the list of where to find the gnomes can be found on the museums website. This was really fun because it kept me guessing on where to look next, and when we came up to exhibit that supposedly had the gnome, I got to look really close at all the details of that exhibit. There are three levels to the museum, the ground floor, the second level and the third floor. Each one is broken up into different categories. They also have a laser show going on with different songs or movies for the theme. You do need to reserve a spot online so make sure you check out the showtimes, each week is different. I went with a friend and we blocked out three hours for this. The laser show we chose was roughly 30 minutes so we ended the day with the laser show. So the museum itself only took 2 1/2 hours.

The other "IMAX" theaters around town use a digital laser projector which is bright, but only has 20% of the resolution of the film system and a cropped aspect ratio. There is also a dual-laser system that at least supports the taller aspect ratio of 70mm. Trying to figure out which theater has which system is difficult, but--trust me--this is the only 70mm auditorium in Colorado, outside of Colorado Springs. The theater complex was built in 1999 and is really in need of a comprehensive remodel. It's very dated, particularly the seating. Concessions are pretty basic. The 70mm projector failed a few days into the release of The Odyssey (July 2026) and caused an uproar as Regal did a poor job of notifying customers about the problem. I read in the media that the projector had been fixed, so we booked tickets. We had a mostly smooth experience. Although we arrived early for our showing at 11:20 a.m., we only found a few spaces left on the top level of the parking garage. Parking is definitely a problem here if there's a major film event. I'd suggest anything but driving. There is a very convenient light rail/bus station directly adjacent to the Colorado Center complex. Our tickets were scanned and we zipped up the escalator to the main lobby on the second floor. Concessions were moderately busy, but the line kept moving. The seats in the big IMAX auditorium certainly don't meet the standard for modern movie theater seating, particularly for such a premium experience. There would be a space issue with fancier seats, though, as the auditorium is narrow (IMAX is best viewed straight-on). Our seats were a bit to the side in the fifth row. I thought the viewing experience was great. The seats were not uncomfortable. What annoyed me was that the vinyl floor in the seating area was very sticky. Apparently mopping at the end of the day has gone out of style. Anyway, the popcorn tasted fresh and the projection quality was superb--that's the most important thing. We enjoyed the movie.

Once, while talking to a board member of the organization, I asked how many members they had. I had guessed it was in the tens of thousands. Turned out it was in the hundreds. Whoa. What's with that? Given the great work they do with the Denver Film Festival, Film On The Rocks, and doing the programming for the Starz Theater at the Tivoli, these folks need all the support they can get. They've had their political / administrative challenges. That's for sure (http://www.denverpost.com/ci_12520398), but they're great folks, working hard to bring the best of independent films to Denver. Let's see how we can drag them outta the doldrums.
