Seats and floor are disgusting. Trash everywhere. Management is entirely inept and unhelpful. Terrible experience. Zero stars.

This used to be our favorite theater because the seats are comfortable and recline to a good position. The sound is always pretty good. The problem now is with staffing. The employees have no idea what is going on and can hardly manage to do their jobs. I'm so disappointed because this is obviously an upper management problem. They just don't seem to care about this location anymore. I find it a shame because it is a better location and layout for people who don't want the fuss of the mall parking lot at the Topanga location, and for people with mobility issues. read more

While it's not the shiny new AMC off Topanga, the seats are more comfortable (they recline all the way back), it can be less crowded than some of the other AMCs and a lot of times you can find different movies than the Westfield Topanga location. I go between this one, Northridge, and Westfield Topanga depending on what's playing and how busy each theater is. read more

Came her today to have a nice movie with my 4year old and the wife, order food online and when we checked in they couldn't find our order due the the 2 people working behind the snack bar. Both staff members were very rude made me son very upset .. Seems like the whole crew that was working today 1pm don't know what good customer service is I definitely won't be coming back to this AMC And I would advise who ever is reading this not to purchase tickets to attend a movie here!!! read more

This movie theatre is my lil haven! It's in a shopping center that has the best restaurants and stores in the valley! At least all of my favorites! Jersey Mikes, Red Lobster, Target, Michaels, Walmart, Olive Garden, Daiso, Bath and body works to name a few! ;) The parking lot is huge so you are bound to find a spot eventually. Once you walk in you have a full bar to your right so bring your ID! Straight ahead is a concession stand that has so many food options.They have pizza, pretzel bites, curly fries and caramel popcorn to name a few! They also have the soda machines where you can mix all your drink flavors or pick a flavor from many options!. My favorite part of all is that you can reserve your seat online and recliner seats. So perfect! You can arrive right on time and know your seat will still be there waiting for you. I have not been to any other theater since discovering this one! Kinda of hard to find as the only thing visible about the movie theatre from the street is a rather inconspicuous sign. The theatre is behind another building. What I most appreciated about my visit here was the Opportunity to pre-select the seat you wanted and pay for it in advance. With the COVID-19 pandemic, it gave me comfort to know that I could pick a seat where I would be 6 feet socially distance from others. The snacks offered here for purchase are like other theater significantly overpriced but they were enjoyable. The recliner seats were the biggest pleasure for me--all padded leather, soft with an adjustable footrest. Pure heaven! The theater was very clean when I visited including the ladies restroom. All in all a pleasant experience. read more

Wow...the reclining seats in this theater are INCREDIBLE. Reclining all the way to practically laying down. Very clean. Staff are all friendly. Prices are standard. Seats are preassigned when you purchase them. Would have been five stars-however we were given seats that seemed were already assigned. My husband had to go to the ticket counter and miss ten minutes of the beginning of the movie, to try and sort it out. Unfortunately, what actually happened was that we were sold tickets for the next day by accident. The other thing I did not care for was that the screen has a very odd "sparkle" to it when too close... Because our new seats were then three rows to the front instead of the middle, it was very distracting to see the sparkle on the screen. That being said- I still LOVED the theater and will try to go here for future films- and make sure my tickets are accurate and not so close. read more

Went to the movies to see "The Quiet Place 2". AMC states social distancing and sanitizing in between showings. However my gf and I were highly disappointed appointed and shocked to see popcorn and trash all over the seats that we were assigned to from the movie prior to ours. This theater used to be quite good, as there is ample parking in this mall, the orange recliner chairs are comfortable (unlike some of AMC's black recliners in other theaters), 6 of their 7 screens are fairly large... but ever since they re-opened post-pandemic, it's been quite bad. Reasons: 1. Always understaffed. 2. Auditoriums often not cleaned by their staff. 3. Lights turning on minutes before the movie ends (this has happened at multiple AMC locations, so it's not just AMC Fallbrook with this inexcusable problem) 4. If you suspect the screen image quality is bad, dark, muted, etc. it is. And there is absolutely nothing anyone on staff will do about it. read more

Once you watch a movie at this theatre, you won't want to go anywhere else. They have large, leather, reclining, roomy seats! SO COMFORTABLE! I also like that you can use those discount gold AMC tickets you can buy at Costco for $8.5 a ticket. A huge savings. You either buy your ticket at a kiosk or at the window, and then pick you seats. Assigned seating is great, but also annoying because it takes people awhile to figure out what seats they want. Green means that the seats are empty and they do allow you to change your seats. I'm a bring your own snacks type of movie-goer. Yup, the concession isn't going to charge me an outrageous amount of money for popcorn and drinks. So we just went to TJ's before the movie and stocked up on goodies and threw it in a large purse. Parking is easy since there's a big lot shared with Trader Joe's, Old Navy, and other stores. read more

My first time to the renovated version of what used to the old fallbrook theater. The theater now is an AMC Theater with recliner leather seats. I felt like i was watching a movie from home. It was SUPER COMFY all i needed was a blanket to feel perfect. Next time I'm bringing one!!! Lol :-) There is plenty of room to walk around freely and you do not feel bad having to get up and that you might just accidentally bump someone. This has been by far my favorite theater experience and I will continue to come here for all those great upcoming movies that will be released in the next few weeks. read more

This is open again and it was worth the wait! The new red reclining chairs are comfy and I like the love seat (pull the middle arm rest up) configuration. Another surprising perk is the assigned seating option. No rush to get good seats and you can enjoy some Menchies froyo next door up until right before show time. This has always been the back up theater option if the AMC Promenade 16 didn't have any good times or showings. Unfortunately, this is an AMC now so they don't show the more independent films with limited showings like the old Laemmle did. read more

One of my favorite theaters as it's one level, easy in/out and super comfy, and has fully reclining seats. The theaters are primarily level with no incline; however, you get excellent screen sightlines if everyone reclines. The screens and sound are excellent as well. It's an older theater and perhaps ready for some reno; however, it's comfortable and clean and features full options, including that glorious Coke one-touch machine. The staff here are better than in most locations as they try to help and are informed. Easy mall parking in front or back. read more

First time coming to this theatre and overall the interior is nice like any other AMC but just a whole lot smaller. The individual theaters are clean and well kept as are the bathrooms. What kinda irritated me however were the cashiers outside where you buy your tickets. When I walked up, two windows had customers and there was one person ahead of me. When the two at the window finished, the employees disappeared and I waited 10 minutes before just one cashier returned to help us out still in line. There was no sign put up saying they would be back, they didn't announce that they would have to wait a moment, it was just a random disappearance. Then when the one window cashier returned, she kept asking the people in front of me if they wanted to sign up for the rewards programs. First two times is fine, "would you like to sign up?" then "you can get points for movies, concessions" etc . . . but she asked again, and again . . . and again . . . and it was clear that the family ahead was annoyed. When it was my turn, I was using an AMC Black ticket and the girl asked if I'm sure I want to use it because the ticket value is $10 and this showing was only $8.50. I said it's no big deal for such a little amount, and she asked me three more times . . . girl, stop! read more

When I first heard that the Laemmle was closing and that AMC would be taking over, I had mixed feelings. No more random indie flicks? No more Bollywood movie showings? I stopped by last spring, before the renovations, and things were still as odd as they'd been since the 90s when I first started coming to this theater; the dated look of the lobby and hallways towards the theaters, the uncomfortable seating...it was all just meh. Let me tell you though, they've vamped things up BIG TIME. New, comfy leather seats that seriously recline, no joke, like fall-asleep recline. They're fantastic. Plenty of leg room so that even when you're reclined, people can still get down the aisle and to their seats and you don't have to move an inch! The seats are in twos, like a love seat with an armrest in the middle. The armrest, though, can be moved out of the way to sit closer and more comfortably with your honey bun. And hallelujah, everyone has their own cup holder!!! No confusion on which cup holder/armrest belongs to who! The sound and screen were great, no problems during the last couple visits. There are a lot less seats in each theater now, to accommodate for these new recliners, but it's a much better experience overall. Seats are reserved now so you must purchase your tickets either online, or from the window or kiosk outside the theater, which is great in my opinion. I mean, how much time have we wasted in the past getting to he theater early just to get good seats?! They've got those new soda machines at the concession stand that have the 182749 different soda flavors so you can make yourself a coke with cherry AND vanilla if you're feel daring...and the self-serve Icee machine so you can mix all the flavors together without someone behind a counter judging you on your nasty slushie habits. Food options are pretty limited, and pretty expensive. They've got popcorn and candy, nachos, chicken tenders, etc, typical concession stand fare. Horrible experience! Garbage bags were full and overflown. They were out of everything, ice, soda, pizza, juice !! Asked for manager, no one knew where he was. Bunch of teenagers were trying to run the theater and had absolutely no clue. They took 30 min to clean the theatre while have everyone waiting in the hallway. This place is filthy. For an 8pm Saturday night showing they were out of food to order or machines broken. Then I get to my seat and it was filthy, so the only one available was a handicap seat. I took it and knew I would move if a handicap person needed it. Right before the movie was about to start two employees approached me to see if it was my assigned seat. Since it wasn't I got up went to the manager to get my refund. I told him my seat was filthy and the floor around it, his reply, "we can clean it for you". Should have been done before my movie slot was starting. I said no, I want a refund. He wouldn't refund me because I lost my stub. Bottom line, the place is filthy, they are out of food at prime times and yes drinks were flat. I see from other reviews that I'm not far off. AVOID this place! read more

Went to see Avengers End Game last night. What a disaster! The projector stopped 4 times throughout the movie. They got it working again 3 times and finally gave up the final time, which was 2 and 1/2 hours into the movie! They did give us free tickets to come back, but they honestly didn't that upset - I don't think we even got a"sorry." I have been a frequent visitor to this theater in the past but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth, and it wasn't the stale popcorn! They get a whopping 2 stars (and not 1) because at least they gave us reentry tickets. And can we talk about the parents who bring their preschool age kids to a 3 hour long Avengers movie??? Seriously?!? You may not give a shit that they are restless, noisy, and constantly talking, but that tends to ruin it for the adults seated around your uncontrollable little trolls! read more

WAY better than the AMC Woodland Hills as those chairs double as torture devices. These recline all the way (careful not to doze during the film) and are expensive leather with cup holders. Theaters are not huge but the screens are pretty large so unless you are in the first few rows you should have an enjoyable experience. Plenty of parking in the mall outside. I've been coming to this theatre a lot, and have seen it go thru pre and post-COVID times (and obviously in between). The customer service is wonderful and efficient, even when in a rush. The seats are comfortable because they recline and they are usually clean. Unfortunately, they have lately been lacking in cleanliness of the theatre and bathrooms, but I do think there is an understandable reason why. While I do love this theatre, it is quite obviously understaffed. In past years I would've given 5 stars but due to my past two experiences, I need to aim lower. In my last few visits, the bathroom has been extremely messy with no soap for some sinks and paper towels littering the floor. Also, the seats have had trash and popcorn all over, showing that the theatre was not cleaned in between showings. I don't blame the staff, I blame management for not attempting to hire more people. All that said, I do love this theatre. The location is convenient and the small size of the theatre makes it feel more relaxed than other AMC's. Hopefully they can get their cleanliness sorted soon! read more

I can not believe I haven't reviewed this theatre yet. This is my favorite movie theatre, ever since they changed the seating to reclining love seats. We live closer to the AMC 16 in Woodland Hills, and even though they have IMAX theaters, we choose this AMC over Woodland Hills for comfort reasons. The theater is always clean and the service is great every time we step foot in the door. I love that now we can purchase tickets on the AMC app, don't have to wait in line at the front or the ticket kiosk, and they just scan my barcode to walk right in. It definitely feels like VIP status even though I know other theaters do it lol. Usually, when we have our date nights, we eat at one of the restaurants located within the vicinity, and there are plenty. The location is great, theaters clean, recliners are EVERYTHING and the pizza is actually pretty good! This theatre has fairly large screening rooms, especially for offering comfortable, motorized, reclining seats with foot rest. Acoustics are state-of-the-art, as they are in all of AMC theatres. Staff is efficient and friendly enough. Lines do not seem to be as long here as some of the smaller AMC theatres. This place is gross. Everything is sticky and the seats have crumbs everywhere. The place always has an odd, sugary smell. They never have the movies I want to watch and the location itself is shady. The food is way too overpriced and I saw them microwave everything. Someone that used to work there told me they don't even wear gloves or wash their hands while working with the food. I love AMC Theaters however this was the worse experience at an AMC Theater. To start it was very dirty from the carpet to the counters. It is a very small theater and very crowded even for a weekday. It took us 27 minutes to order an icee just to find out the icee machine was not working. The employees were also unaware that the icee machine was not working all they did was look at each other until I asked If I could get another cup to get a different type of drink. One of the cashier's was wearing gloves and was touching not only food but he was also touching money and touching his hair. That was the main reason I decided to only order a drink. I was very disappointed I didn't even enjoy the movie. read more
