There was no one at door to check us in so we had to go in long line inside. Finally a second guy (probably a manager) came with no apology and said credit cards here. Then went to get 5 dollar Tuesday popcorn. special and was told there isn't one. I had to pull up on my phone and show him. He too couldn't care less about customer service. I am sorry, the experience of watching a movie while drinking and laying in a comfy over-sized full leather recliner? Priceless. On this occasion we did order food too. Before they even took our order they brought us a little ramekin of complementary caramel popcorn. I like this place already! We split the wedge salad which was HUGE and tasty and came with a yummy pretzel bread stick. I got the Grilled Lime Chicken sammich. Nothing to write home about...I tried to get the garlic aoili on the side, but wound up using nearly all of it for flavor otherwise the sandwich was bland. The homemade potato chips it came with were GOOD though. My friend really liked the Southwest Fajita chicken wrap. End of the meal we were brought warm moist wipes for our hands and we were even given a Ghiradeli Chocolate square! I have to say our waiter ruled because when asked him for a little more "complimentary" caramel popcorn. he came back with a huge cupful for me and my friend! Now you sir, will get a big tip from me. One time, I lost my mind a little bit at a movie theatre and accused the employee at the candy counter of highway robbery. When prices got absurd for nachos and a soda, I pretty much bailed on going to the movies. Until I moved to DFW and was introduced to the concept of dine-in theatres through the cheap and wonderful Movie Tavern. Then I decided I liked going to the movies again and was on board. The thing about AMC, particularly compared to Movie Tavern, is the insane prices. The other thing about AMC is that those insane prices guarantee a 21+ movie theatre with no more than maybe 20 other people in the theatre and amazingly comfortable automatic recliners set up in twos and perfect for a date. The food is not cheap, nor is the booze, but for some reason I think it's all worth it. We easily drop $100 every time we (the hubs and myself) see a movie here and looking at that number, I feel slightly disgusted with myself considering I was previously willing to yell at a man for charging me $5 for a pickle. I can't explain it. I just love it here. One little negative thing - we just went to see an R rated movie at Cinema Suites, where we are promised a 21+ crowd, and ended up sitting next to a ten year old whose parents sat across the theatre. Why they felt comfortable putting him next to us and our two pitchers of beer, I don't know. Why the manager didn't throw them out, I definitely don't know. If this becomes a trend, the love affair may end. Getting to watch a whole movie while pretending children don't exist is a magical thing. I've seen two movies at the Fork & Screen showing at AMC Grapevine Mills 30. Nothing but good things to say! The service has been good, the food is great bar food (try their fire burger!) and it's hard to complain when you get get beer by the glass or the pitcher. The seats are really comfortable and the age 18+ (or accompanied by an adult) rule is wonderful. Having an assigned seat is probably my favorite feature. It saves from any hassle of getting there early and getting a good seat! In comparison to regular movie tickets, the Fork & Screen prices are absolutely reasonable. I would recommend that if you go to AMC (Grapevine or any other), join AMC stubs. $12 a year and you get $10 for every $100 you spend AND food bought at the Fork & Screen counts, plus no processing fees from Fandango when buying tickets. All around a great experience! It will be hard to see a movie at any other place after getting food, drink, and great (reserved) seats. read more

On the non-dine in section, a couple of the toilets were closed and out of order, two were disgustingly dirty and paper towels were out in all dispensers except one. I really love this theater. I love having the option for adults only theater as well as dine in. Menu options have changed and I haven't tried it yet but I plan to. The icee is refreshing and popcorn fresh. I like the reserved seating and already knowing where my seat is. I don't go anywhere else. I drive over 20 miles just to find here. read more

This was our second time here and not sure we'll be back. Felt like everything that could go wrong went wrong on our visit here. First, we bought the tickets via the mobile app. During the purchase process the app said that enrolling in AMC Stubs program would save us the online convenience fee. It didn't tell us, however, that it was a $15 program so we got charged the $15 and had to call customer service to get a refund (not a great online user experience). We got to the movies and, as the movie was starting, the waiter took our order. He stood in front of us, blocking the screen and talked very loud as we were ordering, so much so that the people around us were looking at him annoyingly. We ordered the nachos and boneless chicken wings. The nachos were just ok, but the boneless wings were glorified chicken strips, with no sauce on them (they give you ranch and honey mustard on the side). You also get 5 of them for $10, which is not worth the value. The chairs we sat in were nice because they were leather and reclined which was super comfortable. My chair did have ripped leather on the head rest, which was a little bothersome, but not that big of a deal. Towards the end of the movie the waiter brought our checks, like most other places. I generally wait until the end of the movie to fill it out but, about 15 minutes before the movie ends, the waiter walks starts walking row by row picking up the checks. Why would you bother people during the movie to pick up the check? When I told him I'd fill it out later he moved on to the next couple and stood over them as they filled out their check. Honestly, do you need the tip that bad that you can't wait until the movie ends? My wife and I go to other dine and watch theaters around north Dallas and I would rate this one very low for food quality, the experience and overall service. Wow what a big redesign! This location has been open for over a decade and enjoyed quite the crowds in the beginning. But as the mall and economy went down, it was not as nice as some of the other, newer theaters in the area. Last week, we had occasion to see "Bridesmaids" there and I was very impressed. They now serve alcohol and full meals. You can take food and drink anywhere in the theater. We didn't try anything, but the menu is definitely a far cry from the usual theater food. They also have a new loyalty program. We didn't join, but apparently it offers generous discounts for everything from tickets to food. read more

This is the first time I've been to this movie theater so I was excited to check it out. The lazy boy chairs are AWESOME. The staff was attentive and once I pressed my call button the sever came right over. I had an martini, popcorn and the chicken quesadillas. The martini was really good, the popcorn was fresh and the chicken quesadillas were okay. The quesadillas should have been cut a little smaller to make it easier to eat and the cheese was a little too sharp for my liking but that it just a personal preference. The theater was clean and it has a bar in the main lobby, who can complain about that? Tip: We were sitting in the second to last row and there is a small wall that separates the other rows. I suggest to not sit there because it you are short you will not be able to see the bottom of the screen. read more

This used to be my husbands and my favorite date spot, it's what family members would know to gift us for birthdays or holidays. The past few (3) experiences spread out over a year have been terrible, and the most recent terrible enough to warn others. We went to the Fork and Screen showing of a movie that I had been waiting to see for awhile. Luckily the movie was great or the night would have been terrible. The waiter didn't come out for 20 minutes after pressing the service button, we were given a drink with a pre chewed straw in it (EW!!), and were ignored and sat in the theatre for 10 minutes after the movie was out waiting to pay..... Seriously. Also, the menu has changed and the food is not as good - we've dined on the new menu the last three times - nothing is great. And last but definitely not least - the past two times we've visited the bathrooms have been atrocious. Like. A poopy murder scene. And this visit I watched employees come out of the restroom and nothing got cleaned. AGH!! We will not be returning. You pay far too much for tickets, concessions and dining to have such poor service. read more

Cinema suites kick Studio Movie Grill's you know what without even batting an eye. Seriously. I may never go to SMG again now that I've been enlightened to the fabulousness that is AMC Cinema Suites. The good: 21+ only showings available (Cinema Suites) Huge win. If you have to bring someone under age they offer the Fork and Screen showings which are 18+ unless you are w a parent. Seating - HUGE comfy reclining theater seats that are grouped by 2. Space - There is about a 4ft aisle in front of your seats so it doesn't feel at all crowded. Food - The food was actually decent! Kinda overpriced but at least it tasted OK. Service - Our waitress was great! Never annoying or in the way of my movie watching experience. Freebies - Why yes I'd love some white chocolate popcorn to start, a hot towel towards the end of my movie and a mint on the way out. Thank you! Price - I compared the cost of a movie here and that new theater at Fairview in Allen and this place was HALF the price. I'm in (obviously) The bad (mostly my mistakes for being a newbie): Parking sucks - You've got a theater, legoland and an aquarium all using the same parking area. I think we parked a mile way. Bonus - they have valet if you are super lazy and/or running late. Be careful when you pick your seats. I'd never been there so I picked 2 seats in the middle of one of the rows towards the back and when we arrived they were 1 and 1 out of a different 2 chair grouping (as in we'd be separated by a table from the person we were with and sharing a chair arm area with a stranger. So not cool. Luckily our awesome waitress had noticed this and already had a plan to resolve it. Next time I'll pick 2 seats on the end I think to be safe! For short people like me the wall that separates my aisle from the aisle in front of me was slightly too tall and so I had to make an effort to sit up straight so I could see the bottom of the screen. I may have to try a different row next time. Overall - It was awesome and I can't wait to see another movie!! read more

We saw the 5:05 showing of Bohemian Rhapsody on Valentines. The theater and the entire end of theaters on the dine in side were disgusting. It was dirty and smelled bad. Before entering the theater we sat at the bar. My husband ordered a beer. I asked for water. The bartender said it would be best if I went to the concession stand instead of him fixing me a glass. I insisted and he did fill it. He told us if we wanted popcorn or soda it would be better if we ordered if from the snack bar instead of ordering from the wait staff in the dine in theater? Then why have a dine in option if your own staff discourages it? All of the tables we could see at and near our seats were VISIBLY DIRTY! How gross and unappetizing. I went to the bathroom and brought back paper towels to clean our table. The wait staff SAW us cleaning the filthy table and didn't offer to help or clean . They never spoke to us or approached us the entire time. We were going to eat, but it was so gross and smelly I didn't even feel comfortable ordering a coke. read more

Huge theater with cozy seats and a great sound system! This is the place to be for families or bring a date for the dine in theater portion. Very easy parking scenario. I like to walk around the mall after and do a little shopping. I never have issues with it being crazy crowded or sold out but much prefer to come during a matinee times to avoid all the youngsters. Yeah, I'm getting a little selective in my older age. Anyway, yes it's definitely worth checking out and probably the best option next to Studio Movie Grill! read more

So im late to the party and have somehow never done the cimema suites at Grapevine. Its all about the seats...the seats are amazing. From someone that literally has a panic attack at the thought of being crammed next to a stranger in a theater these are so easily worth the price. These seats are big, comfortable, and come with more than ample arm rest. As someone who over worries about things I was concerned about the lap tray. Would it fit well, was it going to be embarassing if it didnt fit over us...but all was well. The table can swing in front of you or stay out to the side without being in anyones way. The food was good..I highly recommend the bread basket. It comes with pretzel bread, cheese sticks, queso and marinara. Im not usually a fan of marinara but this was really good. Very garlic-y though. And I should mention that the girls next to us mentioned something smelling bad and I am 99% sure it was our marinara. So if you are sensitive about that kinda thing you might avoid. I also really liked the thai coconut tenders..they came with two sauces that were both very good. The only thing we did love was the sicillian sandwhich..it just wasnt my kind of thing. Okay..one nit picky thing. You have cup holders in your arm rest which is great if you are going to lay back after eating.....but they dont give you lids for your drinks. Hello disaster. Oh and picking your seats in advance...awesome idea. Next time im booking my seats online and I dont have to worry about not being 30 min early. Whoo hoo. Also one thing I was worried about before coming was what would you do with an uneven number in the party...would the one person be left out? Too far from the party? Not the case. You could easily have a third person not feel too far out. There is just a small table between the couples of chairs. So you have some privacy but it would be totally fine for an extra person. Tickets were 15.00 apiece (small price to pay for those seats IMO). We didnt drink any booze and spent 40 bucks on an appetizer, two dinners and two teas. Since there isnt a lot of seats in these theaters they book up fast it seems. Be sure to buy your tickets online so you dont get disapointed when you get there. read more

The dine in experience was very very disappointing. 1st the original order of entrees never arrived after over an hour into the movie. Nor did the person that took order ever returned with any update or explanation. 2nd after 1hr 10mins of movie I called for a waiter and cancelled the original order and then ordered a simple med popcorn. I went in to see the new Star Wars at the 3D Imax. Nice big clean modern facility. The concession stand was the usual fare and of course, way way way over priced. One coke and a bag of popcorn: $15. I would give them a lower rating, but this is expected at every theater these days. At some point, some one is bound to realize they could charge less money, give better service, and win over a LOT more customers. Less I digress.... The seats were ok. Plush, clean, but didn't recline. Sound was incredible, I'll give them that. What can I say? It was clean, modern, expensive, everything you'd expect from a modern movie theater. Well to our pleasant surprise upon arriving at the theater with my family we found that AMC is now offering dine in movies. Unfortunately, our elation was cut short when I tried to buy tickets for my wife and two daughters (15 and 18). Sorry sir, but the DINE IN THEATER IS FOR 21 and OVER ONLY!! Nowhere does it state this on fandango or movietickets. Also, in case you're wondering about fork theater, its 18 and over. What is the deal? We went here to the Cinema Suites for the first time today. I will say that I don't ever want to watch a movie again if I'm not sitting in a recliner like this! The seats are very comfortable and roomy. The food was actually surprisingly good. Both the H and I had fish and chips and the fish was really quite tasty! I thought the food was reasonably priced, but the drinks were crazy expensive, $8 for a beer. I guess that's where they make their money from. Our server could have been much more cheerful, but our food came fast so that's not a huge complaint. I really love the fact that they have a 21+ option. My only real complaint is with the seating. We sat in the last row, so I don't know if all the seats are like this, but there is a ledge in front of you that covers a good part of the bottom of the screen. It's worse if you're short, but even my 6 foot tall H couldn't see the bottom of the screen. We saw the Hobbit, and I didn't even realize until near the end of the movie that there had been subtitles. :/ All in all this was a very good experience, and we would definitely go here again. Very disappointed today. My wife and I went to catch the rare movie date. We got there about 5 minutes before the movie started and had chosen one of the dine-in theatres. We ordered the food, then sat over an hour waiting for it to arrive. When it got to us, the burger and fries were cold, and the bun was hard. The nachos were freshly made (we think they were, since at least the meat was warm), but it was obvious that the burger had been made and sat there rather than being taken to us. Not sure if it makes sense to wait in the theater to get the food delivered like that. read more

Quality is nowhere near as good as before. The dine in suites and fork/screen had their menu changed to items no longer interesting or tasty. The iMax theater now has these seats that are extremely uncomfortable...you can't lean back anymore and the actual seat is shorter. The concession near the large theaters have 2-3 people working and don't open any additional registers when people are waiting. Instead they have 2-3 people helping prepare popcorn for the person running the register. Do yourself a favor and save a bit of cash - try a different theater. read more

Decent movie watching experience, with bad food. Calling this dine-in makes it sound like a restaurant, it is more like fast food or ballpark food. It's more like dine on your lap after waiting in a line for food. I'd rather they just do one well and not try to do both. The seats also suck. HUGE theater! It felt like walking around a palace and its wings just to find our showing. We got a showing in the standard theater, but this location does have dine-in showings similar to Movie Tavern as well. Full bar, lounge, and the obligatory arcade games for the kiddos, too. We caught a very late showing (11:40) for a movie 2hrs 20mins long, so its fair to say they are operating at all hours here. Extremely clean theater (non of that stick to the floor feel of the old days), and deep, comfy chairs with the arm rests that fold up if needed. And they were certainly needed when you justify my lovely company.... read more

This huge movie theatre with 3 choices of types of cinema. They have regular movie seating, fork and screen (like studio movie grill style), and cinema suites (plush chairs and 21 and up crowd). I always go to this theatre for the cinema suites bc you really get to enjoy the movie like you do at home. NO disturbing, unneccesary sounds like (kids goofing off, kids crying). It is an adult crowd with a menu and reclining chairs. I have not been disappointed yet. GO read more

Alway nice to come to a place that smelling and looking clean. We say the Great and Powerful Oz. it's was a must see movie. Seats are comfy and arm rest can be moved. I didn't care for the Mom not her son kicking the back of my chair. So we moved a few seats down. Staff is friendly. Popcorn, m wish by the time I get to the bottom they are broken. We went to 6:15 pm movie on a Monday night. Despite website talking about cleaning and Covid commitment to be safe for its customers this was not even close to being true. We arrived to our pre-reserved seats to find cups and popcorn leftover sitting on top of seats from previous customers. Obviously zero cleaning. No dine in option. Not serving a full menu. Had to stand in long line for food and when we sat to eat it after the movie started we discovered a nice long strand of hair in the pretzel bites! Popcorn scattered all throughout the facility. Trash cans over flowing with trash that the limited staff can't keep up with their overwhelmed operations. Went trying to support in person movie establishments but is was a miserable experience. So I went to the bar for a beer and asked for a glass of tap water and was told it would be $5!!! $5 for tap water, how sad. Great seats. That's it. The wait staff at Fork/Screen are grossly incompetent. Clearly they get no training on customer service. They only know how to work their little computers for orders. They get easily confused when attempting to answer the simplest of questions. They don't know their menu. They're not qualified to take alcoholic drink orders because they don't understand mixology. You really can't explain the level of poor service. It just has to be seen to understand. Last week, someone brought my beer. I asked if I could also get a glass of water. The waitress said "sorry... I only deliver bar drinks". Really? Just don't expect much outside of a nice, reserved seat. Oh yes... One more thing. Don't dare ask what the Sam Adams Seasonal Beer is. Five waiters couldn't even understand the concept of a seasonal draft. Is it an ale? IPA? Stout? It was like I was talking to 1st graders from mars. Answer I got was "beer"... Just got back from watching the "Hangover 2" at the Cinema suites at the AMC. It was a good and learning experience. Tickets are $15 each and you can select your seats at movietickets.com. Sign up for the AMC Stubs rewards program and the $1 fee is waived. The Stubs program is nice. $12 to sign up I think, but the online fees are waived and you get free upgrades for soda and popcorn. You also get $10 for every $100 you spend at an AMC on anything. The " cinema suite"hall only seats about 25-30. in 5 rows. The first row is too close and the last row ( which I ended up with) has a low wall in front of it which obstructs the bottom few inches of the screen if you sit back on the chairs or recline even a little bit.( unless you're Nowitzki) Pick the middle rows and the recliner is fantastic. You can almost sleep and watch the movie. Ordering and food delivery was easy and unobtrusive. The wait staff is quite excellent. I don't know if they knew I was coming and that I was a Duke ( albeit just on yelp) , we got tiny cups of white chocolate popcorn at the beginning and a hot moist towel in the end followed by chocolate mints on the way out. Talk about first class treatment. Food is good. We got the Parmesan fries ( excellent), Veggie Quessadillas( good, spicy), chicken mac n cheese ( good but boring) , a Hurricane and an Iced tea for about $45 + tips. Dinner and a movie for 2 = $75 . We'll probably just do 2 appetizers and drinks the next time since the main course is a lot of food. Cant wait to go back and try out the middle rows. read more

I only come here for Cinema Suites, I have a routine: buy tickets on fandango, use the automated touch screen machines to get tickets, get to theater, find seats, order an iced tea + chipotle chicken bacon flat bread thing. Usually my bf will get mozzarella sticks or popcorn and a white cherry icee. It's not usually busy, then again we don't go on opening weekend. I wouldn't come here for any other type of movie... Maaaaybe the Fork & Screen but if you're coming for a standard movie (no food), try finding a Studio Movie Grill Groupon for a better deal or head to Inwood for comfy lovesac seats. The restrooms are usually dirty, if you see movies at the end of the evening like I do and the hallways smell like a bar :-/ I really like that you can pick where you sit and how Cinema Suites recliner chairs are an ample distance away from each other so it's not weird when you're sitting next to a stranger. Parking can be annoying if you come at a busy time but we always manage to find parking. read more

I went today to see an 11:45 movie with my best friend ana her sister. It took my best friend going to her someone to take our order. Also all the help buttons didn't work for each seat. Once we ordered, the food came out timely. In the middle of the movie, we ordered cocktails -- again we had to go her someone to take our order. This time a different waiter. It took 15 minutes for our drinks to come out. Our drinks tasted watery. My caprese flatbread was good. The customer service was horrible on that day. I will not be back. read more

My friend and I ordered a drink, a few mins later I got mine and I asked for my friend's drink. The server said that it will take a minute. 30 mins later we had to press the bottom to ask what's going on? The server said "we don't have that drink right now" so he waited 30 mins to say that. My friend order something diferent and the guy brought the check. I decided to leave just 2 dollars tip for the bad services. The next day I saw my bank statement and "Ryan" the server decided that $2 dollars wasn't enough and he tiped himself $8 dollars extra. Also the seats made my back itch. read more

Well done, AMC. After a marathon weekend of shopping at the shops of Grapevine Mills, my friend and I were ready to kick up our feet and enjoy a show. It's a great addition to the mall (located outside). Employees were very friendly from the moment we were buying our tickets. Terrific concept: Cinema w/ food & beverage service (21 yrs and older), Fork w/ food & beverage service (21 yrs & younger), Digital (all ages) is regular movie experience.
