Look, it's hotel quality food. I didn't get any drinks from the bar, just a slightly over-priced pizza and water. Place was cool, old west kinda vibe with B&C memorabilia. It was Wednesday night and apparently that means karaoke but it was basically just a DJ, I didn't hear anyone grab a mic during the 30-40min I was in there. Not complaining by the way! The bartender and server were great. Friendly and fast. The food just wasn't very good overall and it was over-priced obviously since it's in the hotel. Would eat there again in a pinch, it wasn't terrible but if you've got time to leave the hotel, you'll likely find better food for a similar price. read more

Sunday afternoon at the mall with family and wanted to grab some appetizers and beverages. Son mentioned this place was decent. And it's in a Hilton so yes the prices are more aligned with hotel pricing. Here is what we liked: * Immediate seating. We chose the bar. * Sidewinder fries were quite good, brisket, jalapeño and queso. * Dry rub wings were crispy like fried chicken and good. * White queso and chips was a solid good serving of cheese and good. * We are not Texan but love Shiner and it was on tap. I'll be honest.. I ate here because it was directly downstairs from my hotel and I was too lazy to leave. No regrets. The space itself feels like your standard hotel bar trying to moonlight as a sports bar. Lots of TVs, some effort in the decor, and a patio if you want to sip your drink by a firepit and contemplate conference calls (which I did). Food was.. fine. Affordable, edible, nothing you'll be texting your friends about. My pizza and appetizers came out warm enough and did the job. The desserts, surprisingly, were pretty decent. Not mind-blowing, but solid enough to end the meal on a good note. But the real story here is the service, which was slow in a way that made time feel theoretical. Sweet staff, genuinely kind, but I'm not sure anyone in the kitchen was in a rush to prove a point. Still, I was full, I didn't have to Uber anywhere, and I didn't get food poisoning. For a hotel bar, that's a win. Would I come back? If I'm staying at the Hilton again and not feeling particularly ambitious, then sure. Otherwise, probably not. read more

The restaurant itself is more of a sport bar and has multiple screens all over the restaurant. I came here at their opening time on a weekday and they were pretty empty. They have a small but mighty menu with your typical sport bar items. I asked the person working behind the bar for a recommendation and he suggested the grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich came out quickly and made fresh! It was absolutely delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The staff working there was very kind and kept checking on me to make sure I didn't need anything else. Highly recommend checking them out if you are staying at Hilton DFW Lakes! read more

We're staying at the Hilton Lakes DFW and decided to try B&C Tavern for dinner. My wife, our infant, and I ordered the Texas Brisket Pizza, the Sriracha Cheese Curds, and the Bacon Jam Burger with fries. The pizza was the star my wife gave it an 8/10, and I'd agree. Great flavor, nice balance of brisket and cheese, and cooked just right. The burger looked promising but ended up being a little underwhelming. I'd give it a 6/10 not bad, just not quite hitting the mark. The bacon jam sounded like it had an anointing, but it didn't preach. Now the Sriracha Cheese Curds those took a journey. The first batch came out a bit too crispy (borderline burnt), and we were told that's just how the sriracha cooks. I didn't quite buy that, so I asked if they could remake them and I'm glad I did. The second batch was exactly what we were hoping for: crispy, gooey, with a sweet heat that hits just right. 8/10 and definitely worth it. Sometimes you just need a second chance, amen? The ambience was cozy, though we did notice a few gnats flying around not a deal-breaker, but something to be aware of. Overall, I'd give B&C Tavern an 8/10. The staff was kind, the manager made things right, and the food especially that pizza and second round of curds was well worth it. Would return again if we're in town. read more

It was Monday night football and we needed a fun place to watch. The setup here is great for watching games, plenty of TVs. There are even TVs in the patio area. The food was just okay. It's a hotel bar, that doesn't feel like a hotel bar. The food is good. The bartenders have personality and it's laid out so you can enjoy March madness. They specialize an old-fashioned. I had my first smoked old-fashioned at Bonnie and Clyde's so I recommend this place if you're looking to have a drink or they eat a good meal. read more

The the place was okay not great not bad. It is located in the hotel and does have a very large nice outside area. It is very receptive to entertaining large groups and smoking cigars. The food was not great but not bad. The service was okay not fast but a bit on the slow side. Overall if staying at the hotel not a bad place to watch some sports and have a meal and beverage. As for eye candy well that was hit and miss. Most of those around the bar were men. There were groups of ladies here and there that looked like small parties. Absolutely phenomenal! I've never gone out of my way to give a restaurant review before, but this place was so spectacular that I'm doing it this time. The atmosphere was great, quiet at the time we went, and though there's a few too many TVs around for my personal tastes, I get that it's a sports bar in a hotel and that comes with the territory, plus the TVs weren't too loud to be obtrusive. Overall cozy, and the waitress was so kind and phenomenal! I wish I could remember her name, but just fantastic service. Now, the food. I had one of their burgers that came with their whiskey bacon sauce on it, and switched out the muenster for blue cheese, cooked medium, with a side of fruit. I split it with my mom since we both knew we couldn't handle a full burger each. They actually not only brought out the burger to us pre-cut in half on two plates, but provided each of us with our own side of fruit without charging for the bonus one! And the food tasted absolutely phenomenal! The burger was juicy and flavorful, including the meat itself as well as all the fixings. The fruit bowl was also really tasty, which I didn't expect. Very flavorful and sweet, the fruit quality was great, flavorful and sweet. I also had the whiskey onion rings, which were also delicious, perfectly crispy with a tasty sauce. Some items on the menu cycle in and out, so I don't know how much their menu might change, but it honestly just makes me curious and want to see what new stuff they'll have next time we visit. Then, the dessert. We had the bread pudding bites, and boy am I happy we did. The bites themselves were some of the best bread pudding I've had, gooey and creamy throughout but with a perfect creme-brulee-like crisp outer edge. That, paired with the really tasty vanilla bean ice cream from a local supplier was perfect. Plus, the waitress told us that we could order that with different flavors of ice cream like butter pecan, so we'll be trying that out next time. And there definitely will be a next time. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we'll be going back. Far better than any other restaurant I've seen in a hotel. Definitely deserves more love. read more

For a hotel bar / restaurant, the food is arguably above average. Really liked my chicken sandwich and the Queso. Service was a bit slow, but not bad by any means. They're going for a sports bar type of atmosphere, and they do have lots of sports playing, but I feel it's missing something atmosphere-wise that would make this place a true 5/5. On my last night staying in the Hilton, I decided to check this place out...but just for a drink. It had a fairly lively crowd for midweek. There might have been an industry conference going on. I did look at the menu, which wasn't extensive but had some good bar good choices. Some of the food I saw being served to others looked pretty good. Prices are a little higher than average...but hey, it's in the Hilton! This place has several large screen TVs throughout the place...if you're looking to catch your game. Good crowd and friendly staff...once you grab their attention. So this place has it...food and drinks and you don't have to worry about driving afterwards if you're staying at the hotel. read more

Bonnie & Clyde's Hideout is a little bar & grill located inside the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center. It has a bar with seating as you walk in the door, a section to the right that has mainly high tables and chairs surrounded by multiple tv's on the walls tuned to various sports events , the section to the left as you walk is the casual low key section with regular tables, chairs and booths away from the noise and to the back is a door that leads to an outdoor patio section. The menu is mainly a few appetizers, a couple of pizza options along with a number of burgers & sandwiches. I grabbed a late dinner here twice during my recent stay at the Hilton DFW Lakes. One night I had the Whiskey Bacon Burger and the 2nd visit I had The Classic Burger wih sautéed mushrooms and swiss cheese, I ordersd both without the bun and the house chips both times. I ordered my burgers medium and they were cooked perfectly both times, the Whiskey Bacon Burger was great with the cheese, bacon jam and fried dill pickles as was the Classic Burger with swiss and mushrooms. The chips I had both times weren't really hot when they came out and seemed to have been sitting for a while as some were more tough than crispy, but the chips were really good. I've been staying at the Hilton for a work conference, and I've never had to leave the building for food because of how comforting and exceptional this place is. While it may be a hotel bar, it definitely stands on its own as its own establishment. All of the food has something signature to it, such as the Whiskey Bacon Burger, which I HIGHLY recommend. It's also quite rare to have an Old Fashioned that's balanced. It takes a truly skilled, meticulous bartender to craft one just right, and Doug knows exactly how to do it. read more

As hotel bars go - this one is pretty darn good. It has a nice "sports bar" side, as well as a nice outdoor patio. Beer selection was better than I expected with many craft beer selections available. The menu was a little more limited than I expected but what I had was good. I found it to be very clean and the staff was nice. Unfortunately here weren't any sporting events going the night I was there - I'm sure it's a good place to watch a game. read more
