Came here on Tuesday to watch the new movie Obsession. It was around 7 when I showed up and the theater had a good little crowd going on. Got my tickets very quickly and my food as well. The popcorn was a good size for a small and I could add my own butter. The nacho chips came in a bag and then i had to empty them into the box they gave me. Same thing with the cheese, it came in a little cup, but surprisingly it was warm. The theater room itself was clean which was nice. Something I really enjoy about coming here is the seating. This theater is a solid chain option if you want to see a film. I had some trouble accessing my account on their app, since I hadn't logged in in a while. However, after getting past that, I was excited to take advantage the discounted Tuesday tickets. I went to see Wicket: For Good, and the process of entering the theater, visiting concessions, and finding our seats was solid. The screen size was big and the volume of the movie was loud, but not excessive. I was also happy with the comfy reclining chairs. A couple of detractors included, 1- the reclining chairs were a little beat up; 2- there were a lot of commercials (in addition to some previews, which are welcome) shown before the movie, the lobby is small and there really wasn't much of a place to wait before entering the theater. Overall my experience was good. They have membership programs, which are definitiely a good value for frequent visitors. For an infrequent visitor, like myself, the Tuesday discount was perfect! read more

I went last weekend to watch the newest Jurassic Park Movie. While the movie wasn't that great, I did enjoy my experience at the theater. I usually go to the movies in the summer time, but this time, since my Mom and I had errands to run, I used the mobile app to order the tickets, popcorn and drinks. When we walked into the theater, our order was ready, and we did not even have to stand in line. Everything we needed was sitting on a counter, and an employee directed us as to where to find them and which package was ours. The seats within the theater are nice, however, I am not sure that we needed heated seats in North Carolina, Ventilated seats would really be the move, cause I rarely sit in a movie theater and get cold, but I am also a thick boi. I enjoyed my time, and I would come back here, and more importantly, I will use the app and avoid the lines and crowds! read more

We watched Unsung Hero and it was great! The theater was clean. They have fully reclining seats which are also clean. Theater wasn't crowded. I suggest not to watch a movie here if you just ate or if you're sleepy, or you'll miss part of the movie like I did! Lol read more

First time at this particular location and while I prefer the layout of the WS location, this is still a nice theatre! I like that the heated recliners are angled to the screen for improved viewing angles, and booking tickets through the app was easy as ever! This AMC is well deserving of five stars! From the outside, and the history of this place, you'd wonder how on earth they'd deserve a five! This place had declined so much over the years that it had turned into a $1 theater! It was a hot mess! AMC took over and completely renovated it to a cute and modern facility! Still only about 8 theaters, but all new carpeting, walls, screens, lobby, concessions, bathrooms, heated reclining seats, and bar. Yes, that's right, a bar in the lobby! I mean a full fledged bar with bartender! For a more intimate movie experience, with great seating, great sound system, extensive concession offerings, and bar experience this AMC is hitting all the marks! read more

Wow! Such a nice theater since the big AMC renovation. Heated, reclining, luxury leather seats and cheaper pricing for tickets than other Regal theaters. Matinee adult tickets are $5, y'all! Plus, they have full concessions and sell alcohol (beer, wine and liquor), if you want that. Personally, I would fall asleep if I had alcohol combined with a dark theater and a comfy leather seat. The theater has always been clean, which is nice compared to what this theater used to be. It doesn't even seem like the same building. The staff is efficient. Not overly friendly, but they get the job done. Make sure to purchase your tickets online or be ready to have to choose a different time since there are limited seats. We have been to other AMC theaters but this one is one of the best. There is plenty of parking and the lot is well lit. There can be a wait to order food and drinks but we have one of the memberships so we had a separate line where we could order faster. We got our seats online and had to settle for seats in front but with the reclining seats there are truly no bad seats in the theatre. The seats recline and they also heat which I have never seen. The movie theatre was clean and comfortable and the screen and sound were really good. The popcorn was good and their soda fountain is a coke machine where you can choose from a variety of different sodas. We would go back. read more

This theater has some excellent prices on tickets... And a decent movie viewing experience. There are a few things that keep this from being a very good theater. first of all the seats in the theater are all on a completely flat floor. This is a slightly distorted angle on the screen. Secondly many of the other patrons do you use their phone and talk during the movies. Also the heated seats in a theater are basically useless because even on the low setting it is extremely hot and uncomfortable. And lastly, they are the worst public bathrooms I have ever encountered. Uncomfortably small, not exceptionally well maintained. And a little less than private. read more

I was already in the theater when I decided to get a drink before the movie started. When I got to the ticket / concession stand, there were four employees behind the counter, one selling tickets, the other three, who knows? I was told to go to the end of the ticket line. (about 15 people) The "manager" was unapologetic and had no explanation as to why one of the other three employees couldn't help me. The manager and employees were rude and clueless. read more

The tickets and popcorn cost an arm and leg but the place is so dirty and smelly. LABEL YOUR THEATERS!!! Your ticket taker sent us into the wrong theater. Since the doors are not labeled, we had no way to know we went to the wrong one. We disturbed everyone watching a rated R movie when we tried to settle the KIDS into the wrong place. In our haste to get out and get to the correct theater, I lost my balance on my knee scooter and injured myself. Such a simple fix could have saved so many of us pain and irritation. Not to mention what the kids might have seen if we had been there another few minutes. read more

Went there for the first time ever. We brought our tickets online. First of all you had to go through the food line to get your tickets scan which made us late but they had so many previews. Did not buy any food thank God because when we got to our assign seats in Autorium 4 our recliners had all popcorn in it and butter on the arms of the recliners. We went to the first showing of 11:30 am and they did not clean up any. There were popcorn all under the other recliners as we looked around. Called and wanted my money back but they could not and offer other free tickets. Really I am never that desperate to seat through a movie in disgusting butter and popcorn. Not Covid clean at all. I do work for a lawyer and am thinking about filing papers on this place. read more

AMC corporate management YOU need to read this!!!!! We have gone to this theater many times and HAVE liked our experience and have actually preferred your theater however the new ticket and concession process is the most absurd I have EVER seen. Having only one line for tickets and concessions is really a stupid idea!!! Even if you only wanted a ticket and not concessions you had to stand in the long line to get it. Totally unnecessary to inconvenience your patrons like that!! We arrived 20 minutes prior to our movie time and were 10 minutes late getting into the movie because the line was out the door with several twists and turns inside. The movie was started anyway even though there were many people still in line behind us. Only 2 movies started at at the 7:00 hour, God forbid had their been more. There were only 3 staff working the counter and one in the bar which had almost no business the 30 minutes we waited. She could have helped out some. The staff appeared a little frustrated and were apologetic as things were moving very slowly and the line was getting impatient as we knew we were not going to get in our movie on time. The self serve part of the concessions is laid out poorly. The self serve butter for the popcorn is on the same counter to the right of the concessions and the self serve coke machines are to the left thus people have to crisscross over each other to get to it thus continuing to keep congestion in the concession/ticket area where the line is waiting. This area should be off to the side together - two stations preferably- one on each side since there are two hallway entrances to the theater areas. This was not staff's fault it is a Corp mistake. The money you are trying to save in staffing you are losing on repeat customers !!! We can go to several other theaters for the same movie and not have to stand in line at all. If people are going to buy concessions they will buy them anyway, you do not need to force them to stand in line to encourage them to buy. Move the process along will you. Rethink this approach !!!! read more

I have been to a lot of Carmike theatres around the area, and had never heard about this one until I went to check it out a few weeks ago. It's not your usual Carmike, but it certainly gets the job done, and is a local favorite of mine. It's pretty small in itself, but is a really nice place to go for an outing or even an affordable date. The tickets are $1.50 which are by far the CHEAPEST ticket prices for ANY theatre around the triad area. However, where they get you at are the refreshments which seem to be the exact same price as the other refreshments at the respective Carmike theatres around the area. Either way it's still cheaper overall compared to it's sibling theatres around the triad. The theatres itself are relatively small, but they are large enough where you don't feel cramped, and can enjoy the movie as well. The only major thing I would highlight is that unlike other Carmike theatres, this one doesn't show the movies as soon as they come out. They receive movies later like when they come out on DVD or Blue Ray, so if you missed seeing a popular movie when it first came out, after about a month or so, there is a strong chance that this theatre will be showing it. This is nice because for me, I always seem to miss a movie here or there because I am so busy, so it's nice to know I can always go to this theatre to catch it, and add another theatre experience to my resume. One thing that did cause me to pause is that you are not allowed to attend a movie if you are under th3e age of 18, AND NOT ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT. Sounds like a lot of mischief was going on, so they had to implement that rule which seems to be effective because I have never had an issue there, then again I also go during the early afternoon as well. Overall, it's a great place to see a movie for a discount price, and a true hidden gem in the area! read more

Another AMC classic, but don't let that keep you away. This is one has been updated to include the comfy recliner seats with a seat warmer for those cold days. It also has reserved seating so you can show up last minute and still have a great seat. No more standing in line for hours at a time to see that new release. The menu has been expanded and improved. I got the "Bavarian Pretzel", it was so big it came in a pizza box. They have the Coke machines that give you 180+ flavor options...but, I just get Coke every time. The screen is great and easy to see no matter where you sit. The sound is pretty good, your standard theater sound. The staff has been friendly on all my trips to this AMC. I have some closer "AMC Classic" theaters, but this theater is definitely worth the extra drive. read more

I went to this theater last week to go see my first movie since COVID. I was happy to see that they had signs up requiring masks, but I was later concerned because nobody enforced this rule, so most of the other people in the theater were maskless. The actual theater and concessions were fine, but I'm gonna keep watching movies from the safety of my home for the foreseeable future. read more

This used to be a $2 theater, which fits the older, worn down facilities. But they have drastically increased their prices. The tickets for the matinee were $4.99, which isn't terrible. But the concessions were ridiculous. $19.98 for two large drinks and a popcorn. For those prices I'll go to the palladium, which is much nicer. read more

This theatre is one of the best values in the Piedmont. The staff is professional. The prices are the best anywhere. You can actually get tickets and concessions for two for under 20.00. The place is VERY clean. The theatres are roomy and the seating is very up to date. I would recommend this as the number 1 place to go to the movies. I can't say enough good things about this place. Have had a really good experience prior to this one so I even signed up to for the premier membership all of that was good and went smoothly however 15 min into the previews of the movie The Upside (theater4 7:15 show time on Saturday Jan 19th) a family came in causing a ruckus about their seats and arguing with people "in" their seats 5 mins after the argument they got settled down then for the entire duration of the movie their kids were running up and down the isle talking crying and being loud the mother was throwing the toddler up in the air and holding her above her head finally after an hour and a half of this we went to the front to complain to which the two managers on duty looked at each other and drew straws as to who was going to go deal with the problem. A manager did come in and speak with the family but the noise still continued bc the people just did not care they were disturbing the entire audience. I understand we all paid to see a movie but ignorance and blatant disrespect for an entire auditorium full of people should not be tolerated by the theater! I now regret upgrading to the premier package bc if this will be allowed to occur in the theaters I have no desire to go to see a movie there! read more

Hosntly I hate giving them a bad review becuse I used to go here all the time,but the past few times I have come here it just been horrible. The first time we want I wanted to see this new movie, but I have epilepsy and heard it had parts in the movie that I couldn't watch, so i asked before buying tickets and they said if it had a epilepsy warning they would have a sigh so trusted them we brought the tickets and I almost had to go to the hospital but luckily we got a refund, the second time we go to see a movie I brought my tickets online so we come a bit early but there not chairs or anything so we had to sit on the floor, so one of the workers come up to me and said we were a fire hazard and need to leave or move then when the movie finally started. They were in there for I guess cleaning and kick us out which I would have understood but only do they not have any chairs,(I had other places just clean around me) but at this point I was just mad. I feel like they need to hire more people that are friendly. read more
